Recommendations to others considering GeoGebra:
In mathematics-related undergraduate courses, try to lobby for inclusion of GeoGebra in the earliest stages so that students gain appreciation for it before interacting with it in practice. While the authors do their best to keep the interface as simple and mathematics-oriented as possible, there is need for understanding of how computer functions work. What problems is GeoGebra solving and how is that benefiting you?
To gain full understanding of some very complex economic models, I built them using GeoGebra, leaving most variables adjustable. Thanks to the web-based ecosystem around this tool, my students are able to inspect dependency of given model's outcome on each of its exogenous variables. While it would be great to have them create representations of their own, it does take time to learn, though, and those unfamiliar with GeoGebra from high school cannot be expected to do it over the course of a fast-paced one-semester module.
