Maybe Gate.io does, but I digress... **What do you dislike about Gate.io?** Gate.io is suspicious from the start with poor grammar. Many, however, have used the site and it is legitimate. However, fees are astronomically high rendering options such as Uniswap with MetaMask or other wallets a lower cost option (no, really). They make depositing fairly easy (how nice of them!), but withdrawals are extremely difficult. There is always some new step to add. Google Authenticator does not always function with the site. The security SMS texts and emails for withdrawals have often arrived after 60 seconds forcing you to reattempt. Ultimately, they suddenly notified me that an additional step was required for withdrawal. Now that I have added the other step, Gate.io is stating I must wait 24 hours to reattempt. It has now been 3 days of attempting a basic withdrawal. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! Having just ran the calculations between Gate.io and other wallets for transfers, it is simply lower cost to look elsewhere even for alt coins. **What problems is Gate.io solving and how is that benefiting you?** There are few benefits to the site other than they allow exchanges with alt coins. Wish I had done my research, there are 1000's of ppl who have lost their money to these guys. My $8k was popped into a perpetual fund by some glitch and I'm well over 100 emails with only 2 responses over the course of 2 months. I've lost about $3k and still can't access my money. But what it lacks in looks, it makes up for in performance. It is extremely secure. It has an referral program that allows you to trade with 0% FEES as well as a point system to avoid fees altogether. Buy and sell orders are instantaneous and you can create a fund password to make sure your trades are secured. It offers margin on nearly every token out there, even the abscure altcoins (which, by the way, this exchange has pretty much every one in existence). Gate.io is all of the things you want in a crypto exchange... just without the looks. **What do you dislike about Gate.io?** Only dislike is that the site can act weird. All of the basic functions work perfectly. However, I've had trouble with all tings margin -- borrowing, lending, trading. I'm not sure why I'm expereincing these difficulties, but margin isn't important to my experience. I only spot trade. **What problems is Gate.io solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am able to easily invest in the tokens I want to invest in. I am avoiding fees and being able to easily put money into the cryptos I want to invest in. I am a long term investor with crypto, so it functions perfectly for me. ### 24. It's impossible to buy tokens since there's no buy button anywhere for funds you already have in OTC, and once you figured out how to buy the token, you can't find what you've purchased anywhere. No problems while depositing or trading with them. And the thing which I like about this new crypto exchange is my transaction is withdrawn much quicker then blockchain. As other crypto exchange takes ages to confirm the withdrawal. The UI of this site is so amazingly smooth and very easy to use. **What do you dislike about Gate.io?** The only concern I have is about security and the withdrawal process is so complicated and never asks for KYC when the funds you deposit into your gate account. But doing withdrawal they start asking KYC with ID and selfies. Support is absolutely no help. **Recommendations to others considering Gate.io:** It's a nice startup and I really hope it will be the same as this as of now. Although withdrawals are high at 0.002 BTC and you can only withdraw down to 4 decimal places.
