The most important thing to me about a Community Platform is the ease of use for users/reviewers - that relates to ease of signing up, registering, the platform itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In my experience, I have not really found a downside per se about the platform. Once you sign in, you are in the Community, new registrants have been increasing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Very easy way to communicate with the community and is very user friendly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ease of use, multifunctionality, and team - The platform is simple to handle for a solo community manager, offers much more than discussion forums (knowledge base, product updates, and ideation are so important to the direction online communities are going) and the inSided team is responsive and friendly. Not much! We would like to see more accessibility compliance (alt text for images for example) and html flexibility - especially for things like table of contents at the tops of articles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

inSided has an amazing team that helped us get up and running quickly. As a small team wearing many hats, the guidance and support they provided was invaluable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Native integrations are limited with inSided, so most are handled using Zapier workflows. On one hand, Zapier has tons of integrations - far more than inSided could natively develop. On the other hand, this means that a team will (potentially) need a Zapier subscription and know-how to take advantge of most integration scenarios. It could be a barrier for some. Sections (Community, Knowledge base, ideation, groups, product updates) are very easy to install and maintain. Gamification is also easy to set up and the ability to customize everything is really appreciated. We received really good service during implementation and were directed to really good resources about best practices and how to make a success out of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In every tool, there's room for improvement, I believe here the text editor can be better and a more advanced search would help as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Easy to customize even without considerable tech knowledge
- Straightforward backend
- Great and helpful support
- Product is improving quickly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Lacking some very simple features which could make the UeX and UI so much better (but this is luckily improving, just a ted slowly) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ease of use is great and so is the ability to access APIs for integrations with other tools and systems we use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Built-in analytics aren't as strong as I would like. Can tie it into other platforms for better analysis however. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
inSided is extremely configurable and it lets you customized your message board as much as you'd like to look just perfect. There is a lot of granularity and it also has multiple integrations with other software you might use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We use it also as a support system, and unfortunately, there is no way for us to set up SLAs based on response times. We managed to get around that by integrating with Zendesk, but I would love to have it natively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
