**What do you like best about Gain?**

I like that Gain was easy to use. It was very simple in terms of format, and was easy to understand how to use it. It's good for simply approving social content.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

It's not ideal for uploading social content, and it's not the most extensive. Working at a marketing agency with numerous social clients, it's not very all-encompassing when it comes to all things social media (creation, uploading, approving, monitoring + engagement, internal comments/conversations, client comments/conversations, client approvals/edits, smart inbox of notifications coming in on the social pages, etc).

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not sure what Gain is solving now, but I hope they can make it as extensive and complex almost as Sprout Social. Sprout is more like a one-stop hub for everything social, and I wish Gain was like that. It has basic features to manage social media posts, but not as complex as Sprout.

**What do you like best about Gain?**

Gain is a great platform with many benefits for aligning customer feedback and visibility of communication for each account.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

I think there are platform updates that don't appear as quickly here. For example, on Tiktok you can't select audios, on LinkedIn you can't do geolocated segmentation, on Facebook you can't upload videos as reels. These are small details that force us to publish externally, but besides that, we are very happy with gain.

Indeed, there are some options on social media that are not available on Gain, mainly because they are not available to us through the API. The API, or "application programming interface" in English, often does not offer the same functionalities as to end users. In the case of TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn, these specific functionalities are not available through their APIs.

However, I want to assure you that our team always takes note of these requests. We are attentive to implement them as soon as they become available. Thank you again for your support and trust in us!

I love that we can share preview links to content with those who need to see how their posts will look on each platform, allowing them to swipe through images and see content as it will be presented.

The inability to schedule stories including links, music etc in advance

Gain allows us to plan content and preview it as it will appear, and schedule with ease. It's great to be able to share links to preview content with colleagues to gain their approval.

When I got introduced to GAIN earlier this year, I breathed a sigh of relief that our tedious work review process would finally be streamlined. Before this, the team was back-and-forth on email and it was horrible. I would recommend GAIN to anyone and everyone who will listen.

I can't think of anything I dislike about GAIN.

**What do you like best about Gain?**

Gain has changed my life as a social media manager that manages writers and reviews everything. I used to have to use Google documents with too many columns and comments for clients to review their social media, and writers to ediit htings, but the Gain system has compeltely streamlined this process. I will never go back.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

I haven't really seen too many downsides so far. Any time I've needed support, I have gotten it. 

Occasionally, Gain has not integrated well with photo/website previews on Facebook, and when I have asked, Gain says it's on Facebook's end, and when I have talked to Facebook, they say it's on Gain's end. SO that was a problem, and have been using bitly links for when website previews don't work.

clunky review process. easy revisions. easy way to see an entire month. easy way to duplicate social media to other channels.

Regarding the issue with Facebook link previews, we completely understand and share your frustration. Unfortunately, since 2017, Facebook has limited customization options for link previews, making them a bit clunky. Their API support for this specific post type isn't the greatest, and our team is continuously exploring ways to improve it.

In most cases, the preview should accurately reflect what you'll see on Facebook. However, if you've been experiencing persistent issues lately, please don't hesitate to contact our support team. We're here to help!

Manage every content in one place. Organization of rounds approvals. Download content calendars for sharing. Labeling. Easy moving posts by just dragging them. Customer Service is top notch!

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

Can't use the collaborators tag. Can't change Linkedln and Reels Cover for Videos. Duplication of content only lets to do it  one social media at a time.

Being able to schedule items and have them go through approval.

I wish you could set all items to manual posting, not just certain channels. 
I also wish the tool was mobile-friendly throughout the entire site.

It allows our team to pre-schedule posts and get approved at multiple levels.

I've been using Gain for 2 years, and wouldn't have it any other way. I love the ease of natigation and how simple the program is to understand, while being efficient and helping in productivity at the same time.

The cost is the only downside. I'd love it to be more affordable.

The best part about Gain in my opinion is the workflow features. It makes it seamless for our clients to see/approve content in a professional way. The calendar features are great. I also find Gain takes suggestions by the community seriously and often implements recommendations.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

The activity tabs and approval tabs could use some enhancements. It would be helpful to be able to have a conversation with approvers within the activity tab, rather than a singular q/a format.

It feels like very high quality content has issues being posted and needs to be downsized. Another thing is connecting facebook when needing to onboard an account. Some of our clients don't have facebook so it becomes a hassle.

Saves us time posting for multiple clients and helps us get approval/feedback in a quick and efficient manner

It's so easy to schedule and review all kinds of posts. My clients find it super easy, which is really important. If they didn't, I wouldn't use it.

I would like to see a more intuitive file folder structure to keep assets.

Getting posts approved - posts that look like what they will look like on the platform. Fewer questions from clients. I can put the public link in a CMS and people can view from there so we don't have to depend on email.

I have been using GAIN for the past few months and I have been pleaantly surpirsed by its smooth UI and overall simplicity in use. I like the fact that it gives you a nice overview of all tasks (to- do or already accomplished). The Calendar view is also very useful.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

It is sometimes a bit hard to edit an already submitted comment/feedback. I think that the process should be simplified.

**What do you like best about Gain?**

Gain is a good platform to use if you just need to schedule social media content. You can connect Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram. It is also capable of file collaborations.
There are approval workflows built in so that a client or other team member can approve posts.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

If you have a post that you would like to feature on different channels, you have to duplicate the post. Other schedulers allow you to craft it within one box and modify it for each channel. 

**Recommendations to others considering Gain:**

If you are looking to export social metrics, this is not the right platform. Purely a scheduler. You can export what your posts were, but you can't see them as they appear on each platform once posted. 
Give access to only those that need it as you are charged per user. 

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The calendar view of Gain makes it very simple to see what you've got coming up. Being able to sort amongst channels is helpful too. We have client access for post approvals and it's very easy for them to approve or suggest changes.

**What do you like best about Gain?**

It's easy to use and their customer support is robust. It automatically publishes to most channels, saving me the effort of posting one by one. Clients can easily use the platform without many directions. 

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

No social media engagement capabilities. I wish I could use GAIN for all of my social media management duties. Currently, I am only using it to create and schedule content, but wish I could also manage any responses, comments, or messages that come through. I'm lucky to also have Sprout Social to manage this, but I know it's not the same for others and it would be a large differentiator if this capability was added. One stop shop for all organic social media management, from content creation to community management would be killer! 

**Recommendations to others considering Gain:**

Set up your profiles as thoroughly as possible. Feel free to chat with Customer Service reps because they are super responsive, whether that's recommending additional functionalities or asking for product support, they're easy to get a hold of than figuring it out yourself. 

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our digital media practice of the business uses this to help with social media management of our different clients who are primarily our customers for Media Relations.
