I found the initial setup of G2.com to be fairly simple.

**What do you dislike about G2 Marketing Solutions?**

I didn't find G2.com to solve many issues for my company; instead, it caused some problems. The internal IDP and out-of-the-box integration with other IDP providers were not satisfactory. The SSO part didn't work as expected based on the guides, suggesting an improvement in the documentation is needed.

**What problems is G2 Marketing Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

G2.com doesn't solve much for me; it causes issues. I needed assistance setting it up.

It's basically solving all the time and crucial minutes that could literally make your break your company or whatever your trying to implement due to the information and resources right at hand .

G2 Profile and Review is one of the best platform I identified a while back which shows me a path to gain some money from the apps/platforms that I have used by reviewing them. This was one of the best decision I took to sign up to this platform. I even have recommended this platform to multiple people.

One thing I dislikes about the G2 was, once I wrote it and made some changes using ai to make the grammar better, but it identified that as an ai generated content and rejected it.

The side-by-side comparison thing is the hero part in the G2 platform. Was stuck between Cypress and Playwright and couldn't get straight answers from either vendor. Some reviewer on G2 posted actual performance benchmarks from their CI/CD - exactly what I needed.
Also love reading the 2-star reviews... they're usually the most honest. Like this one guy complaining about Selenium Grid costs literally warned me about the same AWS bill shock we would've hit.

The spam emails are insane - looked at ONE monitoring tool and got harassed by sales reps for months.

**What problems is G2 Marketing Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The comparison charts are clutch too. Needed a mobile testing tool that worked with our weird legacy Android builds. Instead of scheduling 10 vendor calls, spent an hour filtering reviews by company size and use case. Found BrowserStack reviews from teams with similar setups. Two weeks later, we're up and running. Without G2, I'd probably still be in vendor demo hell.

Helping decide on what software to use for a certain task, the benefit personally has been the exposure to the sheer amount of alternative software out there that can do a better job than current systems we are using.

Given the current situation - absolutely nothing. 

If you allowed reviewers an opportunity to fix any identity validation issues and resubmit their reviews - then G2 would do what it's supposed to do - collect valuable feedback from customers for their products/ services.

**What do you dislike about G2 Marketing Solutions?**

Having failed to verify my identity (which was never specified as a prerequisite for the review), there appears to be no way of just resubmitting the review (as I have now completed the LinkedIn verification process). And there is no way to engage any help or customer support (presumably you don't have any, apart from FAQs). So, I have totally wasted all the time I spent crafting a review of ElevenLabs. Luckily, you or they get to keep the pathetic $25 voucher I was promised (and I didn't do it for the voucher, I did it to give them valuable feedback, which you've now just discarded). All in all - totally pathetic service.

The rewards cannot be claimed if there is left over balance. Meaning jf my reward has a voucher of $20 if I spend it to buy some things worth $16 the remaining $4 doesn't remain. All the voucher is used up.

Some good feedbacks provided post the product usage can really be utilized to develop and improve existing applications.

G2 has become significantly less pushy since I last interacted with it, which is a welcome development.

G2 enables informed decisions about what software to bring into an enterprise environment and that is exceedingly valuable. Enterprise software is expensive and being able to make these decisions informedly saves sizable amounts of money and time.

Powerful machine learning algorithms now make the search option a lot better than my previous encounter. It is good that AI adoption for review is still optional and user is not forced to adopt it as the only way for their review to be submitted

Disingenuous behavior — the downside is that G2 didn’t do what they said they would. Actions speak louder than words. At this point, I think I’ll just go to Trustpilot, since I’m sure you won’t post this.
