**What do you like best about G2 Marketing Solutions?**

The buyer incentive tools available to us in G2 are very useful and give us valuable data for our marketing and sales efforts across our team. 

Collecting and using reviews in our campaigns and landing pages has proved to help raising our conversion rates.

**What do you dislike about G2 Marketing Solutions?**

There's not that much to dislike. However, there are a few navigational things that could be improved a bit when signed in - but that's usually because I forget where they are. But there's a little UI task to look into maybe. 

The second thing might be that getting the credit card receipt is a bit complicated when you buy buyer incentive credits from Amazon. We have to go through our rep. to get it. That would be nice to get automatically sent to us. 
But I believe they are working on fixing some of this.

**What problems is G2 Marketing Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The G2 Marketing solutions help us find the right potential customers in the middle of choosing a new CMS for their website. It can be very tough to find the right prospects, but G2 Buyer incentive data gives us a huge advantage, and we do see that a substantial amount of leads and closed deals have had activity on G2. 

At the same time it provides us with amazing social proof content we can leverage in all our materials

I like the transparency of this platform. Anybody can come here and write a review. Since the reviews are real and written by real people, if someone wants to use an application, they can come to the G2 platform, read reviews for that specific application, and then decide whether to buy it or use it.

Honestly there is nothing which I dislike but sometimes my reviews are not passed so I feel disappointed, but  apart from this every thing is perfect.But i know that this type of checking is required for a review platform.

G2 works to provide honest, real feedback on applications, whether they’re related to software development, HR management, or anything else. They list many different types of applications, collect feedback from real users, and display it on their portal. What I appreciate most about G2 Marketing Solutions is the depth and quality of the data they provide — it gives us real, actionable insights that inform our strategy. The paid campaigns option is a great way to amplify visibility, and the integrations with LinkedIn and Salesforce make it easy to plug G2 seamlessly into our existing workflows.

But honestly, what stands out the most is the support from their Account Executives. They're proactive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping us get the most out of the platform. It makes a big difference to have an AE who feels like a true partner rather than just a point of contact.

There's nothing major to complain about. Occasionally we encounter minor bugs, but they're rare and the support team resolves them quickly. The one area I'd love to see improved is the vendor account menu — the navigation can feel a bit cluttered at times, and a cleaner, more intuitive layout would make the day-to-day experience even smoother.

G2 Marketing Solutions continues to be a very reliable and valuable platform for our team at Aviso. Having centralized access to customer feedback, peer reviews, and competitor insights makes it much easier to make informed marketing and product decisions. The dashboards remain intuitive and easy to navigate, and the data is presented in a way that’s immediately actionable.

We’ve also found the insights particularly useful for refining messaging and identifying areas where we can better align with customer expectations. Integrations still work smoothly with our existing tools, which helps us incorporate G2 data into our workflows without added complexity.

**What do you dislike about G2 Marketing Solutions?**

Overall, the experience has remained very positive. That said, there’s still some opportunity to enhance customization—particularly around reporting and filtering data for more tailored views. Slight improvements in navigation when working with larger datasets could also make the experience even more efficient.

I use G2.com to review software and it really helps us find the best software for our organization. It's the best place to look for honest and professional reviews for products. It's the world's biggest hub for finding good software based on users' feedback, and it narrows the window of uncertainty significantly. I love how it makes life easier by offering chat and AI conversation options for leaving reviews instead of having to write everything down. It's great for finding the right product for our company, especially with HR, communication, and customer support related products all available with reviews and contacts. The initial setup of G2.com was very easy.

Providing proof of user. There are many tools that I have used in my 10 years career on outsourcing. Some I do not use anymore but I can still provide a good feedback about it, yet I am unable to upload login screen shot of those tools.

G2.com helps us find the best software with honest reviews. It's great for narrowing down options and provides ease with AI chat for reviews. I also appreciate the availability of contacts for leasing or buying licenses.

What I like the most it that provides users the chance to give feedback about products, in this case honest feedback, and to read this from other users around the world, and to interact with these users and share your experience with it, also when providing incentivized feedback it is great, but overall, great website, information is clear and concise. Searching a review is great and easy, everything is clear to read, and peer content is great, for me it is the best review website in the market since provides the most complete information, and also the most reliable.

Honestly, I do not dislike anything about this website since the information is accurate, it is great and has a lot of reviews and a variety of products and software, the interface is clear, maybe one thing I could change is the communication with Support that sometimes is not that fast and smooth, sometimes when sending a review at least I do not receive any confirmation from the Support Team and this sometimes can be frustrating, also some reviews are never approved and we do not have feedback on why reviews are not posted.

Knowledge, knowing about the software, what software of products to use, and which are the better ones in the market and which not to use, provides a deep insight of every tool, the main benefit is knowing the products. By having a better range of knowledge, we can have better usage of software, it has given us also the chance as users to give feedback of what we use and to let other people know about our experience and also knows and learn from other people experience which is a better way to learn and motivate people to use software. The Unique Experiences not only provides information about the capabilities of the software forehand but also provides the information where extreme care needs to be taken for that software. Other than this it also assist developers in making the software more better and perfect from the first hand experiences provided in the review by the users. This all efforts contributes to heathy competition among the software developers to create a better software with more better UI and performance. 
One best part of this platform is that the user experiences and rating is dynamic and changes from time to time allowing user to be more focus on the present best software that will fulfill the need of the organization.

**What do you like best about G2 Marketing Solutions?**

The best thing about G2 is how the plan and onboarding are tailored to our business case. This has meant that the implementation and customer success team from G2 has been able to help us towards reaching our goals instead of "just" showing us the platform.
Also, we've gotten specific examples and cases of how to best use the G2 features for us, and together we've already set goals for what we want to achieve together.
We've been using G2 for 5 years now, and we've seen great results in review generation and, more importantly, lead generation and sales. 
The Buyer Intent data available to us has really helped us out in many different ways, and we now use the data in marketing, sales, and customer success.
Also, the people at G2 are simply great. Everyone we are in touch with are always super friendly and helpful, and you can feel they really want you to get success. They are proactive in coming with ideas of things to try out, and are also very fast at helping out if we have any specific requests where we need their help.

**What do you dislike about G2 Marketing Solutions?**

I've found a few places where the documentation of features doesn't seem to be updated completely. An example could be for the different widgets, where it's not very clear how they are actually going to look. A few images/examples (maybe just with dummy data) would be great to show precisely what a widget does and how it'll look when implemented.

**What problems is G2 Marketing Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At first, the main benefits we were getting from G2 were better social proof and increased brand awareness. Getting more and better reviews have really helped us stand out in a competitive category, and works great as user-generated content that can provide social proof of our products.

Buyer Intent data has since helped us solve another big problem: identifying active buyers in our category. The customer journey is long and complex in our industry, so identifying key accounts that are actively researching products has helped us immensely in terms of lead generation and sales.

I find G2.com super easy to use, and I love how easy it is for reviews to show up on the platform. We really like the shorter forms and appreciate that our account managers help us create shorter reviews for people with less time. It's a great platform for gathering reviews, and it's nice being able to see all the different reports we show up in. Also, the platform's growth is interesting to trace, and there are many features, like social media-generated images, even though we don't use them. We appreciate that those features are available.

**What do you dislike about G2 Marketing Solutions?**

Sometimes we're not going to know how the algorithm ranks us versus other competitors. We have competitors in the market who have a lot more reviews than us, and they rank higher than us in certain things even though we know that their solution is not awesome. For example, there's a competitor that is an overlay solution that has routinely faced lawsuits that the accessibility community does not see as a viable accessibility solution, yet they rank higher than us in certain categories, because they just have more reviews than us. It seems sort of counterintuitive because that platform might be recommended to people via G2.com, but it's actually not a great solution, and the accessibility community would say, "hey, don't use that."

I'm a Product Marketer, and we're constantly looking into Customer Sentiment and feedback, so that we can use it for guidance across our product roadmap, and social posts! G2.com makes it easy to gather and aggregate customer reviews quickly, which is hard when customers get many requests. We value using G2 badges as social assets to enhance market positioning. It streamlines feedback collection and offers useful features, even if we don't utilize all of them.

G2 is a great platform that has never harassed me to do anything and even offers incentives to get back in here and review products and services that U am familiar with. It is a pleasure to do that here.

Really I don't have anything bad to say here, I have never felt bothered by an occasional email from G2 asking me to review something else. They tend to wait weeks or even months to send an email suggesting I do so.

The reviews are the answer in a world full of fairly bad marketing, none of it is truthful, I have come to determine that everything on the internet is only there to gain something from you through deception, and the only place you can weed out real information is through customer and User reviews.

I love the increased flexibility on Company Profiles - it enables a marketing team to have more control over how you position your brand to a potential prospect. I also like the Managed campaigns that supports with landing pages - its easy to use and helpful start for reviewers. Lastly, the Customer Success team has been very informative, and supportive, when needing insight on the product or giving tips and ideas to improve our brand performance.

**What do you dislike about G2 Marketing Solutions?**

We haven't found a benefit to Buyer intent or data analytics. This has been mainly down to a) our brand not being in a position to compete at the level required, and b) our internal tech stack requiring additional tools to integrate the information in a useable way to our CRM.

Our company has a top 5 product, but has missed the mark on building brand awareness. G2 Customer support has enabled us to fast track our profile improvement  by guiding what actually makes a difference. That has saved time and given us confidence in our actions. G2.com is easy to use with good analytics, and I appreciate how its feature set has improved over the years. I like that it helps us get intent data on potential buyers that we'd struggle to get elsewhere, and it provides us with excellent social proof. I enjoy seeing who has visited our profile, who has compared us to a competitor, and who is looking for solutions in our category. The initial setup was very easy and we have successfully integrated it with LinkedIn, HockeyStack, Dreamdata, and HubSpot.

The review process is slightly clunky for users, it takes a long time and there is no way to bypass having an account which is a blocker for a lot of people.

I like that G2.com always has updates and it's easy to get in contact with our account managers. There are a lot of options for generating reviews, and they stay on top of new trends like AI visibility, which is nice to keep in mind. The resources we have, like badges, are great for marketing materials and social proof on our website. The market reports are important for us to see how well we are performing and how people are rating our product. I think G2.com is a great place to be, and customer service is great.

I think the review approval process could be a little bit better. Sometimes reviews get denied when it's really our customer, and it would be helpful to preview or see the denied review to understand why. Navigation is always a lot for me; I'm always having to scroll through all the options to find specific things because there's just so much. I've had some issues with the HubSpot integration, like bugs when creating new contacts and problems with filtering limits.

I like G2.com for its easy user interface, which makes setting up the review process straightforward. I can check the latest status and view the review form completely. I also appreciate the better analytics, which allow me to check page visits and compare with competitors. The visibility on customer reviews is helpful for using them on our landing pages and improving based on feedback.

The refresh reviews could be done some other way. Most of the customers are no longer at the company, or end up redoing reviews in that case. This lowers our weightage along with the positioning on the grid. We exhaust our customers by getting reviews, and over time we don't have enough TAL, so the positioning drops.

I really like that G2.com is constantly updating their platform, whether it's the MCP or the review refresh feature. I've been enjoying my time with Anisha, my CSM. She has been super helpful generating some custom links, answering any and all questions regarding new features, and so forth. The MCP has been very helpful in helping me figure out where we stand with our competitors and hooking it up to Claude, essentially to type out any questions. My CSM, Anisha, has been super beneficial in just being so quick with her email replies.

**What do you dislike about G2 Marketing Solutions?**

I think that there is definitely some room for improvement, especially with the UI of the back end of the platform as someone who is managing the profile. I also think that the review refresh incentives can be a little bit easier on G2.com's end if they can help us segment out cohorts. For example, some people looking for a review refresh are not necessarily customers anymore, so it doesn't make sense to reach out to them. Just little things like that.

I think G2.com offers some interesting features. The incentive program is great because it encourages more people to leave reviews, which means we get more feedback without having to actively manage the process. The analytics are really good for tracking how our reviews are developing and understanding trends over time. Lastly, I find the marketing material quite powerful, allowing us to effectively use quotes and do a lot with the reviews we collect.

I find it kind of hard to showcase all of the products we have on G2.com. In order to collect reviews for each product we offer, we need to create a specific page for them and they should be need to be at the same level of our main page (ENT account). That would increase the cost significantly and it's not something we can justify at the moment. It would be great to be able to collect reviews on specific products as part of our overall brand.

What I like best about G2.com is the clarity of the dashboard. At Filio, we work in visual asset management, AI-powered visual documentation, and field reporting, so understanding how people discover, evaluate, and interact with our platform is very important to us. G2 gives us a clear view of our reviews, user feedback, and overall market presence in one place.  The setup process was also very smooth. The onboarding is easy to follow, and the platform guides you step by step, so it does not feel complicated if you are familiar with standard business software. For a growing platform like Filio, G2 helps us better understand customer sentiment and improve how we communicate the value of our visual documentation and reporting tools.

**What do you dislike about G2 Marketing Solutions?**

One area I would like to see improved is communication with reviewers, especially when a review is anonymous or does not show contact information. I understand and respect the importance of privacy, but it would be helpful if G2 offered a privacy-safe way for companies to reach out through the platform.  For example, businesses could send a message through G2 without seeing the reviewer’s name or email. The reviewer could then choose whether they want to respond or stay anonymous. This would help companies follow up, learn more from feedback, and resolve issues while still protecting the reviewer’s privacy.

G2.com helps us manage and understand reviews for Filio, our visual asset management and AI-powered visual documentation platform. I definitely appreciate the transparency from the customer support and customer success team at G2.com. They've been really friendly, always listening to our challenges, and proactively helping to solve them. We've been in unique situations, like acquiring more businesses and needing to merge accounts, and the team has been excellent at fitting G2.com into our ecosystem and working out our commercial agreements. I also like the integration with Slack, where intent data is pushed directly into our Slack instance, giving our sales and marketing teams real-time updates on potential market accounts. This integration really helps us.

One thing that doesn't work well for us is related to the acquisition of Capterra and Software Advice. We use Software Advice, and it would have been good to get more upfront oversight of what the roadmap for Software Advice and the whole Gartner digital suite looks like now that it exists within the G2.com ecosystem.

I feel like things are easy to find on G2.com, and I can manage different aspects of our profile effectively. The website layout allows me to see parts of my profile, such as accounts, reviews, campaigns, or awards, easily. I really appreciate being able to see the progress of our reviews and badges. Creating and managing campaigns is really easy on my own, which I value. G2.com makes it very easy to see and respond to new reviews, helping me understand what our customers think in the aggregate. The information on scores and where we stand on the grid is readily accessible and helpful.

I would really like to have the ability to pull all of the reviews from a certain amount of time into a report that I can use and manipulate and disseminate internally to my team members. One thing that I am not fully onboarded with is the criteria for calculating the G2 score. It seems to give better scores to solutions based on their age more than their performance. Like, if a company has been there for 10 years, they will have more people, backlinks, etc., which does not translate to a better product, but they still seem to have a higher score than a better solution that's been around for, say, 5 years. I understand that age does translate to some positives, but since I am not aware of the exact weightage, it seems a little off.

The platform has shown itself to be reliable, and I find myself checking it almost every day. It’s genuinely useful and practical for making more informed software decisions, and it also makes it easy to share my experiences with others.

At times, there are a lot of unfamiliar brands and services listed, which can feel a bit overwhelming. I also had a moment when the navigation and menu structure weren’t very convenient for me, but the team has already fixed it, and now everything runs smoothly. Overall, I don’t have any major complaints about the service.

The biggest thing for us is that G2 just works as a trust factor. When we link to our G2 profile in sales emails or on our website, prospects take us more seriously. The G2 brand carries a lot of weight, especially with buyers who are comparing multiple tools. Having a strong profile with real reviews speeds up the decision process on their end, which is exactly what we need.

G2 is huge in North America, but in some European markets—especially Germany—it's just not as well known yet. A lot of our prospects there have never heard of G2 and don't immediately recognize it as a credible review platform. If G2 invested more in brand awareness in DACH and other European regions, it would make our profiles way more effective for local sales cycles too.

I like that G2.com is a very well-known review platform, especially in The UK and The US. It's trusted by a lot of brands, which is really the main thing for me. Also, as a performance marketing manager, I find their advertising options really beneficial. I can advertise on specific categories and competitors' pages, which is a main advantage for me in terms of advertising.

One thing that I could think about is the fact that G2.com is very well recognized in the UK and US, but for other markets like DACH Germany, which is our main market, it's a known brand, but it's not that important as other platforms like OMR. So, this is something that could be improved, probably like an expansion in other markets.

I like that G2.com offers voice, AI-powered chat, and form options, which are very convenient because they let customers choose the language and format they're most comfortable with. I saw that we are now getting more reviews from customers whose native language is not English. It's also great that it's not much needed from our side after the review is submitted. I find it easier to integrate G2.com across the website and elsewhere, which is useful because we use social proof in many places. This facilitates my projects with Customer Success. I can point out that the G2 support is excellent - every time we had an issue or question, the replies and support were quick and efficient. The initial setup was quite easy and G2.com offers more exposure, which are all aspects that stand out to me.

Buyer intent could be more granular and contain more information to be actionable. Some accounts are so large that it's not always helpful to see the signal without all the additional persona info.

G2.com simplifies collecting customer feedback and sharing testimonials online. The voice, chat, and form options allow customers to choose their preferred format, and I noticed that the review campaign performance is now better. 

G2 also offers more exposure with easy website integration. Before, we had reviews spread over several different platforms, and it was difficult to present them in a consolidated way. G2 is recognized by customers as a trusted review platform, and it's good to have it as a primary review platform.

Been using G2 Marketing Solutions and the one thing that is genuinely changed how we work is the intent data. Before this, we had no real way of knowing who was actively looking at us or our competitors, we were just guessing. Now we can actually see which companies are researching in our category and reach out at the right time, not months too early or too late.

For our brand it's made outreach way more focused. Instead of blasting everyone, we can prioritize accounts that are already in buying mode. That shift alone has made a noticeable difference.

The rest of the platform is solid too easy to manage our profile, collect reviews, and stay visible in our category. But honestly the intent data is the real reason I would tell other brands to look into this.

If you are in B2B and tired of wasting time on cold outreach that goes nowhere, this is worth it.

I like the dashboard on G2.com because it readily showcases categories, our movement, and the number of reviews along with certain graphs that are easy to visualize and report to leadership. This ease of visualization makes tracking campaigns a lot easier. I appreciate that it allows us to collect customer testimonials, which is crucial for our customer marketing KPIs and provides insights into how traffic moves between G2 and our website. I also find the setup process really good since it lets you set up even before having paid services, and even though the more complex features take some time, they are eventually easy to understand compared to other intent platforms.

**What do you dislike about G2 Marketing Solutions?**

I believe the pricing model has changed substantially over the last sometime. And, I also perhaps do not love the sort of customer service customer success support that we received from G2.com. I think it could be a lot more personalized, a lot more target oriented, something that a lot of other competitors do offer.

When I started my job after being out of the workforce for 11 years, I was completely new to G2. The onboarding support from the G2 team made a huge difference. They took ample time to walk me through the platform.

The features we use regularly have definitely had a positive impact. The reviews give us actionable insights into what customers value and where we can improve, which helps both our product and messaging. The Grid Reports and Quarterly Reports make it easy to showcase our market positioning, and we regularly use these assets to support sales conversations. The badges serve as an easy, identifiable “badge of honor” that builds trust with prospects.

We're also really loving the AI Search Visibility to see where we land on LLMs. Always so eye-opening!

I admit there is still a lot of functionality we aren't using yet due to time constraints. Overall I highly recommend.

Now that I'm in it, I can navigate easily. It took a little getting used to and recently, there was an update and I didn't realize there had been one (could be I missed an email) but I needed help navigating to a few places.

I use G2.com for demand generation, particularly appreciating the integration to LinkedIn Matched Audiences for remarketing purposes, which gives me an additional intent touchpoint. I like the relatively straightforward UI and the quite responsive and proactive Customer Success Managers. They are currently shipping a lot of interesting features. I also find it valuable to see high intent signals, such as exactly who has viewed our profile in the last 30 days and where prospects have checked out competitors but not us. It provides an additional layer of insight to align marketing and sales efforts into Account-Based Marketing and offers insights into the voice of the customer.

The left panel seems very busy and overwhelming, I think some UX improvement could be done there.

One minor issue I’ve noticed is with customer support response times. At times, it can take a while to get a reply, especially when trying to resolve a query quickly. While this doesn’t happen frequently, it can slow things down when immediate assistance is needed. Improving response times or offering more real-time support options (like live chat) could make the experience even better.

From a UI/UX perspective, the platform is generally smooth, but occasionally navigating between multiple comparison pages or filtering very specific results can feel slightly limited. Enhancing advanced filtering or adding more customizable comparison options could improve usability further.

In terms of integrations and AI-driven insights, it would be great to see more personalized recommendations based on user activity or past reviews, which could add even more value when exploring new tools.

That said, these are relatively small points. Overall, the platform is stable, easy to use, and provides strong value without requiring much support intervention.

After starting to use G2, the process became much more streamlined. Now I can quickly access verified reviews and compare software options in one place. For example, instead of browsing multiple websites and forums, I can filter and evaluate tools within minutes based on real user experiences.

This has significantly improved my workflow by reducing research time and helping me make faster decisions. What used to take hours of searching and cross-checking can now be done in a fraction of the time, which has improved efficiency in evaluating new software.

G2 is one of the most popular platforms for reviewing different software and services. Whether you need to compare or contrast various products or need details on the specificities and features of a product, G2 has everything you need to know. As an administrator, I like that I can add in details of our product, provide photos, videos, and a product tour! There's so many cool integrations that help us attract more buyers and get more awareness for our platform. The new Monty for Sales chatbot is another great addition at helping us generate more demos and business for our company. It's also an easy way to generate net-new leads in our system for demo requests, product demonstrations and more.

Would love more insights on the exact visitors who are navigating G2 and other ways to generate higher traffic to our pages.

The review process is simple as far as providing the linik and then G2 takes care of sending out the giftcards for our customers who leave reviews

**What do you dislike about G2 Marketing Solutions?**

The accept and decline process for reviews seems to possibly be taken over by AI and we have had a lot of errors with reviews getting declined that should not have which causes more work on our end, we have to reach out to support to dispute it, they have to review it then reach back out to us and reverse the decline to an accept. 

The support given has severely went down., We have an assigned AM and we when responses needed it took almost 3 weeks before getting one then had to CC their superior beyond that to get response. 

G2 recently changed their UI on the website with no email- which normally fine-- but trying ti figure out where they moved things was impossible and their AI Chat Bot only referenced the old UI when you asked them questions it was an extremely frustrating experience...
