Overall I have enjoyed using G2s marketing solutions and G2 in general. We mostly use the badges and paid promotions in our key product categories. Working with our support representative makes things very easy like swapping Ads, landing page links, and new optimizations. I use the tools once per week rather than daily but its easy to our campaigns up and running. I am glad we are able to promote ourselves in a place with a lot of traffic where I know our key personas are doing their product research. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The reporting leaves more to be desired. It can be difficult to get the extra data, view, and details that you want. I wish that functionality was more flexible. We don't use any data integrations but I wish they were easier to setup or did not cost ant extra. Lastly, I would say the business results are still TBD. I am confident that we're getting in front of the right audience but the actual amount of clicks, leads, and deals we win is maybe less than expected. I know a lot of companies have been impacted by Google's changes and it seems like G2 category traffic has definitely been impacted which means we get fewer results. Getting reviews on G2 has brought a lot of traffic to our companies website that we may otherwise not have gotten.
I like that when looking at the reviews we can see when a review is pending which I like as other similiar platforms do not offer that. If a review is rejected usually they also provide a reason why it was rejected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes we find out about new "rules" when they happen. A review got rejected for using "AI" we were never aware that was not allowed and never saw a rejection for that reason before the person who left us the review also claimed they didnt use any AI tools to write it. I like the grid reports and the ability to use them the widgets on our marketing collateral and landing pages. Same goes for the badges.
The ability to add funds to the G2 wallet makes it easier for us to generate more reviews over time, and the review snapshots and quotes as well as reference pages help us consolidate the reviews in a meaningful way to make more sense for our customers.

There are quarterly reports and the current report feels outdated the moment the next quarter report is out, this makes it a tedious process to keep updating collateral with the latest badges and content.
Though G2 is great for brand visibility and awareness, there haven't been many direct inquiries from the platform.

The user experience on the site is excellent, with an intuitive dashboard and countless ways you can add your documentation and other info. G2 has been super responsive when we need things altered (like our solutions lineup), and the way we're able to collect customer reviews through their incentivization is much better than what we've experienced with other third-party review sites. For some reason, a lot of our clientele in certain verticals don't trust the G2 brand vs. other popular brands like SourceForge when leaving reviews or even browsing our reviews. I'm not sure why -- whether it's lack of advertising on G2's end for the authority of their site or people just not trusting reviews generally nowadays (unless it's on Reddit or TikTok), but it's certainly been a barrier in getting us the qualified feedback we're looking for. I love being able to view, be notified, and manage all incoming reviews for my team. It is great to be able to see how many reviews each team member has generated and how many "stars" they are getting per review. Interface is user-friendly and pleasing to the eye. There have been times when it takes over a month for our reviews to be processed. They will be stuck as "pending" for several weeks at a time. This prevents us from being able to compensate our team, for we base out bonuses based on these reviews. When we inquired about it, customer service was extremely hard to reach and vague.
