we implemented G-accon in our finance team this year. We use Xero as our accounting system, but have multiple ledgers and the standard reporting didn't meet our needs.
We had built reports in excel that required a TB export each month and was fairly manual. This process was cumbersome and could take hours if not days to finalise reports, particularly as some of our key month end data comes in towards the end of the cut off date for reporting.
With G-accon + Xero + Google sheets, our reports can be re-run if needed and will be updated within seconds. This gives our lean finance team, precious hours bck in the day to focus on supporting the management team.
I also love the native links, these are particulary helpful for us when we run reports for the sales team to track their receivable book. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've found the g-accon menu not overly intuitive and sometimes find myself having to click on options, exit then revisit the, particulary when building new reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ease of pulling in data from Xero automatically in tables that can be easily linked to a model. Learning curve for how to use the tool is not that high either, so it was quite quick to set up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not very much, no major complaints. Just a nit, but I think this more of an issue with Google Sheets: I wish that the G-Accon sidebar can stay open even after pinning so it's easier to access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I enjoy how easy it is to use the reporting features and how it makes it so much smoother with tracking past due invoices. I use this system for daily reports that I have to run and the process is so simple. I also really appreciate the awesome customer service and support provided by the G-Accon team. They have helped me implement some new reporting and get things set up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There isn't anything I dislike about it. So far works great for our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Using G-Accon to upload journals is our primary use of it, however we do use it for uploading sales invoices. It saves so much time and reduces inaccuracies when compared to doing it manually. It is really easy to use and stays connected to Xero for a long time so you are not costantly re-logging in. Customer support is really good as well. Very easy to integrate into Google Sheets. It is not a fault of G-Accon but for us the downside is that it is on Google Docs and we use excel/Dropbox as our primary spreadsheet/storage tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
G-Accon provides up-to-the-minute updates to our financial reports, enabling me to make informed decisions quickly. Integrates effortlessly with Google Sheets, making it easy to access and manage my financial data.
I've found G-Accon incredibly easy to use, with a minimal learning curve.
The customer support team has been very helpful, responding promptly to my queries and providing helpful solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The product says it's available for up to 5 accounts. The reality is it all sits on one Google workspace so I am in fact not able to use it for 5 clients, only one with the purchase. The cost is very high for the South African market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

G-Accon excels at summarizing Xero data, the integration is great, making it easy to access and manipulate while providing a solid foundation for analysis. It opens up possibilities for streamlining workflows and creating custom reports, making it a powerful tool for any financial professional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The platform can be a bit complicated to navigate at first, especially for advanced manipulations. Additionally, the 365-day limit on data imports can be restrictive for businesses needing to work with longer historical data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It does what it says: it allows us to automatically import data from Xero into Google Sheets, which powers our cashflow projections, profitability calculations, all of which are too complex to be managed within Xero itself.
It is very easy to setup - you will need to familiarise yourself with some of the terminology. Integrating it was also easy, as simple as logging into Xero via the G-Accon extension for Google Sheets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We did have an issue where the import was just too big for the sheet we were using; support were great, they advised using a middle-man sheet and then that imports into our primary sheet. That was around a year ago, and it's been functioning great. We update data on a daily basis, and we haven't had any issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
G-Accon is the essential integration tool to empower your reporting speed
I've been using G-Accon for just over a year and it has revolutionized the way we manage and report for our clients. The integration between Xero and G-Accon is incredibly efficient, seamlessly eliminating timely data dumps into excel spreadsheets. Our workflows are smoother and we have been given the ability to service more clients.
Real-time Data Sync, A user friendly interface, and fully customizable reports, G-Accon is a must for any Accountant wanting to harness and leverage the financial data in Xero. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When you hit the client limit. It would be good to have an unlimited number of client companies but that is asking for a lot, I know ;) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We use it to combine data for royalty reporting purposes and we have over 3000 skus with over 25 licensing partners. What would take days to compile and report are now only minutes and automated. It is very powerful and the only tool we found to do the job and not cost a fortune. The ROI is worth every penny. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing that could be a negative is the interface is not the prettiest but that is just a visual preference and not a big deal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It does the job. Once you set it up, it really is set it and forget it. I have used it to feed data into company financial projection models in Google Sheets for years without issues. I have told Intuit and Xero multiple times on user research interviews that they should just buy G-Accon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
User interface and experience could be better. FP&A professionals are used to this and generally it does not prevent the effectiveness. However, it does feel like you are using that was designed decades ago. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
