Everything from taking the donation to receipting is included in the platform. There are a variety of methods available in the platform for taking payments (e.g. Stripe, PayPal, etc), which makes life easier for our donors. I had some issues when setting up our sub-accounts for multiple entities (they had prioritized the wrong org as our primary account, which messed things up), but the support team was quick to take care of things and help us get it all squared away before going live. Getting connected to payment platforms and our CRM was straightforward and seamless. **What do you dislike about Fundraise Up?** The element options for adding to your website have limited customization. I would love a donate button that didn't have the little heart emoji and flashing background, but that option simply isn't available. We've found that in certain countries where the value of the local currency is extremely low vs. USD the maximum you can donate in the local currency equates to under $20 USD - we understand this is due to character limits in the payment processing, but it would be nice if there was a way to have those countries default to USD instead (without making ALL countries default to USD). **What problems is Fundraise Up solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being an international non-profit, finding a platform that provided many options for currency and language was extremely challenging. Fundraise Up was one of the only options we found that allowed us to handle all the currencies and languages we needed to. Having it handle all of our donations and receipting globally for online payments will make life a lot easier moving forward. ### 2. Initially, it was a bit overwhelming as we were new to the platform, but later we found Fundraise Up to be well-built and robust. **What do you dislike about Fundraise Up?** Fundraise Up does not support manual payment methods, which is a great setback for us as many of our donors pay as check, cash, or bank transfers. We had to develop a platform using HubSpot to handle this, which cost us around 10,000 USD. It’s the first platform we’ve seen that seamlessly handles multi-country fundraising in one place. The highlights for us: Localized Compliance: Handles things like UK Gift Aid out of the box. Subaccount Structure: One platform with shared branding, but different bank accounts for each country (USA, UK, Canada, Australia). Salesforce Integration: Flexible and easy to map to our existing CRM setup. It has drastically reduced our administrative overhead and simplified our global campaigns. Highly recommended! **What do you dislike about Fundraise Up?** While the platform is excellent for international growth, the Zapier-to-Salesforce integration has two significant gaps that create manual work for our team: Multi-currency Data Mapping: Currently, the Zapier integration doesn't include the original donation amount for non-USD transactions in the mappable data. This forces us to manually go into Salesforce and enter the local currency amount for every international donation, which is a major hurdle for a global org. P2P Trigger Limitations: There isn't a straightforward Zapier trigger to create a new Salesforce Campaign when a Peer-to-Peer fundraiser signs up. Currently, we can only trigger an action once a donation is actually made. This makes it difficult to track and nurture new fundraisers the moment they start their campaign. Fixing these two integration gaps would make the platform nearly perfect for our workflow. **What problems is Fundraise Up solving and how is that benefiting you?** Fundraise Up solves the problem of operational siloing for international organizations. Before, managing separate fundraising tools for the UK, USA, Canada, and Australia was a major administrative burden. Fundraise Up allows us to consolidate everything into a single platform using subsidiary accounts. This has benefited us by: Ensuring Brand Consistency: We can share global campaign collateral across all regions instantly. Localizing Compliance: It handles complex regional issues like UK Gift Aid automatically, which previously required manual oversight. Simplifying Global Finance: We can link specific bank accounts to each subsidiary while keeping our data unified in one place. We also love the Peer-to-Peer "Create Your Own Fundraiser" feature. I actually learned about this platform at a previous job and went through the migration process there, learning all the bells and whistles along the way.
