The app and website are both easy to use. It was easy to set up the data capture templates using the website tools. The templates were then uploaded onto the user's phones by simply refreshing their app. The users require minimal training to use the app.
Uploading the users data to a common cloud-based database by simply refreshing their app is probably the best feature of Fulcrum. No data loss and no duplication of data with multiple users.
We also like the licensing. We are seasonal users. So during the off-season we just keep one account active in order to save our templates and access our database online. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No real cons. Probably could be advertised more with some real-world examples on how to utilize the software. We learned about Fulcrum word of mouth.

Once you start working with the app you will see all sorts of possibilities for it. We started using it for just one process to collect the data. I would like to be able to design the lay out of the PDF a little more. If we could apply a logo or a header to the page, and have a table print out in the PDF would be nice. We have multiple sources of data in field that require daily collection and organisation. Before Fulcrum, this was all done by paper and manually input to a database for client delivery. Since using Fulcrum, we have saved countless hours in manpower in this one task alone. Being able to have full control of the data that is being input into the system has eliminated any chance of possible incorrect data input and illegible data entries. The Fulcrum Community is a fantastic resource that promotes open data sharing and has been a wonderful tool for us within the academic community doing post-hazard reconnaissance. The reliability is great - we've never had issues with syncing problems, missing data, or anything else. It just works. Fantastic product. The philosophy that the data you collect is yours and you should be able to access it as easily as possible is an indication of the maturity of the product and the people behind the product.

As a crop advisor in fresh produces market, my team and I need an app permitting to catch all the infos from the fields. And since we cover so much crops (from strawberries to cabbage and groundcherries in the between) with a lot of different pests and diseases, we had no choice to build all our forms by ourselves. Each of us in my consulting business always has a cell phone in a pocket. By making a custom app to gather time and material charges in a simple and streamlined way, everyone keeps charges updated, even me. The use of the apps across IOS and Android is not consistent. We have had to choose a target platform (IOS) to reduce development costs. I would have hoped that Fulcrum would have ensured consistency to take the burden of cross-platform checking away from their clients.
We have users across two agencies. They are effectively one user of Fulcrum but the licence model requires them to be paying two subscriptions. This sucks. Microsoft sorted this out for their O365 model. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
