Fulcrum is a customizable platform that has a lot of great options for tracking data in the field. I love that we can customize it ourselves, it is flexible, provides offline data storage solutions which push to the cloud when you are in wifi or cell range. The geo-tracking in this app, and it's ability to lay those points over top of a Google map or an uploaded map of your choice. The Fulcrum Tech Support team has been very responsive to our requests over the years to make upgrades to the system, and even though we may wait in a cue, we know they will get around to our requests and discuss them with us. This app does not have the full reporting functionality I would like for our operations. Everything exports in excel, and we have to build queries form there for our reporting. But their online platform has some View functions we are able to use in place of reporting, and it's been steadily improving. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I Like the easy of use when making my own app. The process was very intuitive and only had a slight learning curve. Many of the features are beyond me (a non technical professional) but there are still a plethora of features that allowed me to create a customized product for my business. The customization and drop-down menus in each form. Data manipulation on the back end to present to clients more efficiently. Photo options to help collect a truly complete set of observations. The lack of some options in drop-downs or that the option you type in doesn't save on that form for that project so it must be entered continuously. Having to sync all apps when you just need to sync one. If all field are not filled in on the form, when downloaded they show as unrecorded even if the information wasn't needed for that project. Time, flexibility, functionality, ease of use and development, API functionality... I am a big fan. Pros: native app on android and apple devices, works offline without wifi, APIs to fetch data, add/update/delete data, populate select lists, etc., reasonably priced, easy to build apps and very flexible, storage of pics and video...
