We use fulcrum to control and report on all aspects of the running of our company. The recent addition for improving report format and now the ''what if - do that'' is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ease of use. With Fulcrum you can create simple apps with zero coding, and complex apps with minimal coding. You can't do everything but we've certainly done a lot. We've used our top techies to make powerful data collection apps, and let total newbies write the simpler ones. Everyone has succeeded. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I dislike is that since it is an "app within an app" I can't create some fields or relationships that I am used to when hard coding in, say, MySQL. But that's not what this is for. I could never complete a collection app this quickly by scratch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

While there are quite a few complex features that can be added to the apps, they were not easy to implement on my own. Their technical team was quick to help though! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Fulcrum provides an extremely versatile set of tools that lets you create your own app in just 10 minutes. On the other side, using advanced functionalities, it gives you the possibility to create very sophisticated forms, including complex logics and calculations, interoperability from and to third-party systems and a nice, fully customizable, report generator.
Personally, I like the very easy integration with Google Sheets for data analysis, the possibility to import custom map layers and attention to details the developers put in the features provided.
No programming knowledge is required to use Fulcrum but knowing some JavaScript allows you to develop an app really tailored to your needs. Programming with Fulcrum is quite easy and it is possible to learn from zero just using it.

I think that the Fulcrum mobile app interface, even if totally usable, might be a bit more modern and user-friendly.
The licensing system is challenging for us. As a non-profit organization, we usually develop apps that will be used by agencies or governments and it is quite difficult to convince them to pay for each user who will use the app. Having additional licensing packages could solve the issue we are facing.
