The versatility of this product is the core of our operations and has allow us to meet any expectations of our clients. They continue to update the platform with new and exciting features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only improvement I'd like to see is more options for customer services Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Fulcrum has a wealth of features and is very easy to use, even for people like me who can't write code. It is effortless to collect data in multiple different formats. The new reporting updates also make exporting the data as a PDF report easy and straightforward, saving a lot of processing time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No downsides to Fulcrum that I can think of. I love all the features and have not yet come accross anything I can't solve or get around. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This app has eliminated double entry of the data collection that I do. We have to collect a lot data and it is very easy to transpose numbers when we have to transcribe the data back to another spreedsheet. This app helps to elimante the mistakes that invariably take place when you handle data multiple times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like to see a global editing process and cut and paste tables from the fulcrum web portal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I thought the price tag of this product matches the functionality and it is very cost-effective. The forms or "apps" is very scalable and highly customizable. I also like the fact that Fulcrum allows you to store data and photos on their server, and you also have the option to add codes to tweak data management further. For our purpose, the map component could have improved as it was lacking a scale bar. I think it's less of an issue for people who use this app in the city where roads have names etc, but very hard to navigate when you're out in the bush. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The GUI of the app builder is nice. It allows for easy customization, as well as exposing the back end scripting API to perform some more advanced tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Their pricing model is quite frustrating and ultimately might end up being why we will end up leaving for a different data collection app. First you pay for the number of users, then if you require more than the initial 20GB of data, you are forced to pre-purchase "data blocks" in 20GB chunks. If you do not have enough data blocks, the app rejects your devices from syncing. If you have way more data blocks than you need, you have to pay for them anyway. I get it; as a business, this is a great way to sucker people into paying for more than they need, but why not make it more automatic and customer friendly? After all, they are basically reselling Amazon S3 storage for a 5000% upcharge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the flexibility in creating apps that help me quickly and efficiently capture data in the field. We work with many different clients with varied data needs and the ability to tailor our reports to meet their needs sets us apart from our competition. We also find great value in the workflow abilities of the app. It is very easy to export shapefiles for further processing in GIS software or import existing shapefiles and count of the reliability of the data once imported. The help, assistance, and tutorials from the Fulcrum staff make it quick and easy to get up to speed on getting the most from the app. Quick training can save addition time when utilizing contract help. The only downside is the lack of ability to adjust/edit data form in the field. If we were able to create forms or edit the data collected in the field it would increase our flexibility. At times we may need to edit the form for collecting data while on site and away from a desktop. I am not sure how much more challenging this would make the script for the app to complete. It would also be nice if we could tie the satellite image base to a higher resolution source, such as NearMap to increase the accuracy of our base. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Clean and crisp UI & UX; fast server to upload, synchronise and export data; constant updates; friendly customer support and awesome report export function! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
*Lacking the following advanced features*: auto-numbering and lettering of fields; additional field types such as matrix tables, sliders, rank order, heat-maps and question library; drag and drop fields between applications or duplicate to another application field or project; real-time multi-user application design; auto-save; upload of applications formatted in .csv or .xlsx (give user formatted template database file to upload); in report builder, it would be great to be able to select which fields to include/exclude in the report; shift and select OR press and drag-select of multiple fields; option to toggle settings and field sidebars in design view; a variety of integrations via other apps such as ArcGIS, StoryMaps, Tableau, Kumu, Slack, Notion, Dropbox, Office would be phenomenal (perhaps we use a version without integrations?); customisable analytics dashboard; option to pin application to home-screen on mobile; option to automate the record export (i.e. export at 9pm everyday); multi-language enabled or ability to have correspondence tables for uploading translations; control-group survey design; and recommendation to consider other data collection practices, i.e. relational databases for social network analysis (would be super useful). Ease of access and use, and the ability to still use the app without internet connection Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is probaby due to slow internet connection and the amount of photos takeb, but I dislike the time it takes for the app to sync to the server. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that i can complete a ticket on the phone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The map. Its hard to zoom in and keep your place. Also, the street lettering is to small. When it comes to the phone sometimes it takes 20 mins to sync in a ticket Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
