Fulcrum provides an extremely versatile set of tools that lets you create your own app in just 10 minutes. On the other side, using advanced functionalities, it gives you the possibility to create very sophisticated forms, including complex logics and calculations, interoperability from and to third-party systems and a nice, fully customizable, report generator.
Personally, I like the very easy integration with Google Sheets for data analysis, the possibility to import custom map layers and attention to details the developers put in the features provided.
No programming knowledge is required to use Fulcrum but knowing some JavaScript allows you to develop an app really tailored to your needs. Programming with Fulcrum is quite easy and it is possible to learn from zero just using it.

I think that the Fulcrum mobile app interface, even if totally usable, might be a bit more modern and user-friendly.
The licensing system is challenging for us. As a non-profit organization, we usually develop apps that will be used by agencies or governments and it is quite difficult to convince them to pay for each user who will use the app. Having additional licensing packages could solve the issue we are facing. Overall, I don’t dislike much about Fulcrum. The only issue I’ve experienced is that once I synchronize my data, I can’t edit it. If there’s a mistake or something I need to review and fix, it would be great if Fulcrum allowed at least one chance to make edits after syncing. I find the "Perennial Vegetative Cover Reports" entry, specifically the "Location description of assessment area" field tricky as it frequently won't let me save due to needing a valid location.
