For ours, this is where most Professional Development information and forms are housed, as well as where we can input hours. **What do you dislike about Frontline Professional Growth?** It is fairly user friendly, though not intuitive. There are several different components that have similar titles that make it difficult to remember which items to utilize. I do like that you can search for and set reminders for upcoming PD opportunities. **What problems is Frontline Professional Growth solving and how is that benefiting you?** For our district, they have moved to utilizing this as the main platform by which to track licensing points and professional development credits. The hub is used for forms and documents that were once housed on our district's website, making it a bit more streamlined through Frontline. ### 4. The website is easy to navigate, even if you do not use it frequently. I use this as an employee portal. It consolidated our previous 2 programs, making it much more simple. **What do you dislike about Frontline Professional Growth?** The transition from 2 companies to 1 was difficult to know where to find everything. It is fairly easy to submit artifacts and text. **What do you dislike about Frontline Professional Growth?** The program is detrimental to teaching in general. I encourage users to read articles and research by the founder. As a teacher of nearly 30 years, the philosophy she espouses i frightening. Finding past evaluations and use them to improve is nearly impossible. It seems like they are trying to make teacher evaluations for dummies and, at the same time, make the application clunky. I started using course number to find course which made it a lot easier. The site also tracks professional development through multiple years so you are able to go back and check on hours recorded for previous years easily. **What do you dislike about Frontline Professional Growth?** Submitting documents can be difficult at times, but this is largely dependent on how you organization sets up this feature and what is required to submit for professional development credit. An auto save feature could also improve the website as you have to leave the page to upload and add a photo to the document which can require your to start the process over. It also displays results of observations and evaluations in a format that is easy to understand. It also makes the request for a substitute so much easier now! **What do you dislike about Frontline Professional Growth?** I am not sure how it requests an administrator to “approve” a class I have taken in order for them to finalize it so that I can get credit as soon as I’ve completed a course. As a substitute, your day is different every day of the week, and it is hard to keep track. This program shows a calendar view of the current and next month that is color coded with days you already have jobs, days that none are available, and days that have available jobs. It then makes it super easy to browse through the possible job assignment, making finding the best available job quite simple. **What do you dislike about Frontline Professional Growth?** The only thing I dislike about this program is I am employed in two different school districts and I have yet to find a way to merge the two, showing both job listings at the same time. As of now, I have to log off of one account and log in to the other in order to see both, making it difficult for me to remember all my available options on the same days. **What problems is Frontline Professional Growth solving and how is that benefiting you?** Some benefits Frontline provides is the ability to easily check at all times available subbing positions. I believe that benefits the school systems in order to keep a high number of substitute teachers employed. It makes for a lost of evaluation elements to look at. As a teacher, it is wonderful to schedule an absence when needed, efficiently and immediately. Similarly, it is really helpful to participate in online classes, signing up, tracking progress, and adjusting my enrollment from one easy to use site. **What do you dislike about Frontline Professional Growth?** I dislike that it can sometimes be specific to the district itself. When using usernames and passwords specific to your district, you must be sure to log in from your district-specific site. Otherwise, you may be faced with a frustrating "incorrect username/password" message. **What problems is Frontline Professional Growth solving and how is that benefiting you?** All district employees can monitor and enhance their professional development through this site.
