Very well documented editor and easy to use. We integrated this into a PHP Laravel application with no issues whatsoever. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Having to pay to renew it is not ideal for us. I wish there was a way to renew the license without also paying for the technical support that comes with it. From my experience, since the documentation is so good, we never need to contact support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to grab and go in a pinch, if you have the requisite knowledge. Not too difficult. Has a fairly large source of blocks that should be easy to drop into any HTML theme. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Maybe create a more customizable editor, continue to add new snippets as well. Focusing more on blocks instead of building an entire site might make the product a better value. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Copy and paste doesn't change the font on the editor. Such that If you copied Arial from a Word Document and our website uses Montserrat, the editor makes sure the font copied remains Montserrat. Which is a huge plus for us as we wouldn't want multiple fonts on our web app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Upload of files and videos freezes the editor. This means using a slow network (in our part of the world), the publisher would have to wait for the media file to be uploaded first before they can continue with other meaningful work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Froala is heavily supported by the team giving users fast and quality updates. The editor itself has endless functions and plugins to suit so many application scenarios. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's too hard to dislike! The editor has evolved so well to cover so many user requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We switched from a plain HTML editor to the Froala editor for allowing our customers to customize their email notifications. We were looking for a WYSIWYG editor that is not only easy to integrate but also super intuitive to use and Froala fit the bill perfectly. Now it is super easy to build and customize emails using Froala. The best thing we liked about this editor is that eas of integration and myriad of customizations that Froala provides. Thanks to Froala, our customers now find our email and onsite notification customization functionality extremely simple and intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Few issues worth mentioning here are -
1) Disable toolbar functionality does not disable all the toolbar buttons.
2) At times we found that Froala runs its own intelligence and overwrites some hackish HTML which we deliberately introduce every now and then to address some customer issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The documentation, it's clear and complete. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Would be nice to see more pricing options with a single domain option as well as collaborative editing possibilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Froala Editor is a great WYSIWYG editor with drag and drop image and file insertion. It can integrate with S3 for asset storage and is reasonably easy to customise. The interface is intuitive and customers find it easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No community support, so if you have a problem or need help you have to resort to completing a form and waiting. You can't gain knowledge from other peoples experiences. For a wildcard license (to use on any domain) the annual price is very high. There are not many plugins. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's very modern and lightweight. We tried many editors like CKEditor, TinyMCE, Trumbowyg, ContentTools, Aloha and we end up with Froala. Because Froala was the easiest editor to work with as a developer for implementing or adding new features and it has many very modern approaches. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far we didn't face any problems. Maybe Froala team update it very often, that could be the problem. But for us it's not a problem because updating the editor is very easy for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Froala is really easy to integrate into your product AND customize. On top of the continual development that keeps introducing new great features, it's super stable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At the time, in 2017, the features were pretty limited; that's been addressed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
