Freshstatus is a Status Page and an Incident Communication Software. Create a hosted and branded status page in just one-click. Manage Incidents and communicate status updates in realtime with your teams and customers. New features in Freshstatus 3.0 include: 1. Authenticate users with SSO/SAML : Setup SSO for your team so they can access their Private status page with their company credentials. 2. API for CRUD Incident and Scheduled Maintenance, Incident updates. 3. Quick Service Status Change: Change service status without creating an Incident or Scheduled Maintenance. 4. Customise your Email Alerts: On popular demand, now you can customize the “from” & “reply-to” email addresses and DKIM settings. You can also change the look & feel of these emails along with its content. 5. Subscriber Alerts with RSS/ATOM - Get update notifications as RSS/ATOM feed. 6. Webhook Integrations - Subscribers can set up their own Webhook integrations to connect with any channel they like and receive regular updates. 7. Follow an Incident: Your end users have the option to follow a particular Incident or Scheduled Maintenance of the service that affects them the most. 8. Dynamic Date and Time : Status page will now show Date and Time based on the user’s Browser settings. Freshstatus allows you to setup unlimited services, Incidents and Maintenance updates and lets you have up to 250 subscribers, 5 users & unlimited internal team members.

We need to keep our clients informed about outages at Microsoft, Box and other cloud service providers. By keeping them informed we cut down on helpdesk tickts and increase customer satisfaction. With FreshStatus we avoid long delays in proofing customer facing email, and when the incident is closed, everyone is informed as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Freshstatus by Freshworks?

This product is promising but is still a beta application. I like the potential of integrating with FreshService. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freshstatus by Freshworks?

I don't particularly appreciate that the SSO option is not auto-integrated with other Fresh applications - thus creating more work to keep subscribers in sync if one wants to keep their page private. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Freshstatus by Freshworks solving and how is that benefiting you?

I will potentially switch from Atlassian if this allows for native integration to FreshService and the cost savings are decent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Freshstatus by Freshworks?

My favourite is Freshstatus. It is an alternative (free for the first plan) to Statuspage. It's very complete so that's perfect, even if some functions are missing... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freshstatus by Freshworks?

Let's talk about it... One feature that is not pushed enough is the customization of the page with its own colours, its own header and footer to match the other sites of our infrastructure...

In my opinion, it also lacks an API that we could use...

Oh and one last thing, it also lacks the possibility to change the state of a service without having to create an incident... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The biggest problem solved is the communication... I looked for a lot of services to manage status pages and all the ones that were hosted by another person were all paying or very limited... And fortunately I discovered Freshstatus! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
