What do you like best about freelan?

What I like the best about Freelan VPN software is that it is completely free like the name suggests. In a world where technology has taken over and life without internet has become unimaginable, almost every software development company or software developer is looking to make as much money as possible from the software they make that are essential in our daily lives. But the fact that the people behind Freelan VPN have made their software free of charge makes them deserving of recognition, which is what I'm hoping to achieve with this review.

Freelan is also open source. What this means is that the source code for this software is available for anyone to view on a public domain such as GitHub. Since anyone is able to view the source code, you can rest assured that nothing malicious will happen to your device should you choose to install Freelan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about freelan?

What I dislike about Freelan is that it does not have a Graphical User Interface. This can be an issue for anyone who is not particularly into programming because in order to set up the VPN software, you will have to rely on inputting your actions in the command line.

Another issue with Freelan is that there is no transparency on some of their information. They do not provide any detail on their servers or where they are located. Furthermore, the number of servers and IP addresses are not displayed either. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering freelan:

Freelan VPN provides a fantastic service despite being completely free of charge. But be warned that setting it up may be a pain if you do not wish to use command line. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is freelan solving and how is that benefiting you?

Obviously as in the case of any VPN software, Freelan ensures that your privacy on the internet. It makes your data unavailable for fraudsters.

Freelan comes with the huge benefit of being able to operate on multiple platforms such as Windows, Mac, Linux, and Raspberry Pi. So, there is no limitation in which one to choose. Additionally, Freelan can also operate Raspberry devices, which is more than what you can say for any other free VPN software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
