FRAPS does not work with DX12 games. The frame counter does not show, which is a problem since most modern games take advantage of DX12. It is a program that we sometimes use in the company to take screenshots and videos. The interface of the program is very simple and minimalist since we are hardly presented with a table with some options such as the assignment of a shortcut and the path where to save the videos or screenshots. Both the quality of the videos and the screenshot can be modified to suit the user so that they occupy less space on our hard drive. The videos generated by FRAPS do not have any type of compression applied so their size is somewhat high and it is necessary to edit them using video editing applications to maintain the quality while also decreasing its size.
