For more than three years, we've been using Framework7 to create hybrid mobile apps for our clients. It's a lightweight and appealing framework for creating hybrid mobile apps. Everything is covered in the documentation, which is flawless and informative. It's easy to get started for new/first-time developers, and it's often updated. Even on low-end smartphones, the built-in apps in this framework perform admirably, and they feel and function identically to native apps. The animations and transitions are smooth and rapid, with no noticeable lags. This framework also has a significant user base, which ensures that it is kept up to date. The Swiper slider, which comes with this framework built-in, is challenging to set up and requires a lot of patience, and it occasionally crashes when other JavaScript plugins are used in the app. Also, even if we discover a significant flaw in the framework, the developer takes a long time to fix it. I worked with Framework 7 when I was getting my first industry experience as a Software Engineer. So being a new user of the framework with less experience with javascript I was able to get used to the framework very quickly. So what I love most about Framework 7 is its ability to quickly create iOS and Android apps with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with fast and easy learning.
Framework 7 is a well designed free and opensource hybrid mobile app development framework. It can be used with different structures such as, React, Angular, and so forth. Framework 7 provides a large variety of ready to use UI elements that are easy to customize and integrate with your projects. It has a quick set up time due to the amazing and solid documentation with a lot of work samples provided. One thing more important about Framework 7 is its support for React. With React support Framework 7 competes with more popular other frameworks. Also, it provides the best performance and really good quality material designs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I dislike about Framework 7 is it only supports platforms such as ios and android. Framework 7 online community support was at a comparatively low level. If you are not much good at programming on javascript, HTML, and CSS working with Framework 7 will be a bit challenging but if you follow the documentation properly you can get through this challenge successfully. As Framework7 is mostly built around Apple some times there are chances to face rendering issues on android. Also if you check online forums contribution and discussion threads regarding Framework7 related issues and solutions is a bit low compared to other native platforms.
