"Framer is the most intuitive web design platform"
5/5
What do you like best about Framer?

Framer is one of the most easy to use systems for making websites. It has a clean UI, loads of tutorials, a fantastic team, and a big community behind it to make it all happen.

We use it on a daily basis and can't think of a world without it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Framer?

There are still some features that Framer is lacking. There are some CMS limitations, we'd like to have a better editor for our clients, and the handover process to a client could be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Framer is a designer's dream come true"
5/5
What do you like best about Framer?

I've been designing websites for over a decade and have been working directly with developers to bring these websites to life. With Framer, I can now build and ship these sites all myself with no creative ceiling and at a faster speed than ever before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Framer?

Like any growing startup, there's a laundry list of optimizations and features that can be made that the other established companies already have. But every update that the Framer team puts out delivers value – they're not just rushing to scale the product into a mess that becomes harder to use with each release. "A Product Designer's Dream Come True"
5/5
What do you like best about Framer?

Framer does everything we need as in-house product designers. Since switching to Framer as our primary design tool, we've eliminated three other tools from our workflow. Everything is done within Framer now. Design, Prototyping, Reviewing, Publishing to code, it does it all. I haven't had this much fun using a design tool in a long time. It's very powerful and allows us to design and publish websites without coding experience. Using Framer, I've begun designing with more of a developer mindset, allowing me to branch out and grow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Framer?

Its vector tool is not the best. We continue to use Adobe Illustrator or Sketch for any vector graphics that need to be created.

Framer has some third-party integrations, but certainly not as robust as other apps. Hoping they continue to grow there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An easy way to launch a profitable website for a start-up"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Framer?

I am a designer in a small team and it was fantastic to find a tool where I could both design and "develop" at the same time. Like other tools, everyone can understand Framer to create a useful website, but I thought Framer has way more versatility to design and create something different from the typical templates other tools offer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Framer?

Framer is growing so fast, but at the time, it doesn't have all the integrations other tools have. Due to this, I also think there could be more information or videos on the internet to show you how to start using Framer. By the way, I think it's a matter of time, as long as more people will start using it, there will be plenty of useful information on the internet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Framer review"
5/5
What do you like best about Framer?

Framer has been really easy to use, but the experience has been exponentially rewarding. As with any tool, there is a learning curve but for those with experience in Figma, it'll feel rather similary with Framer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Framer?

Some minor bugs experienced from time to time but nothing that effects my work on Framer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Framer helps us build a better, more dynamic company website in 30% of the time without developers!"
5/5
What do you like best about Framer?

Framer is by far the best tool to create and maintain your company's website. Framer simplifies web development and lets your design team do everything in a single tool without the need for a developer.

Before using Framer, our design team used to design new web pages in Figma. Our developers would then develop those pages, and the designer would test the new pages to see if everything was implemented according to the design.

Framer eliminates all these steps. Our designers design new pages in Framer and publish them themselves. This turns the three-step process into a single step and completely removes developers from the process. This is a huge timesaver and efficiency boost.

Our designers are in full control and our developers stay focussed on our SaaS products without being disturbed by our marketing department. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Framer?

Framer turns your designs automatically into responsive web pages. This makes it a bit more challenging to quickly design a couple of iterations for new pages/elements. Individual elements are auto-aligned, which can be in the way of your creative process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An easy way to get online ASAP without headache and a perfect responsive behaviour"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Framer?

I love how easy is to get in the mindset of the tool and start building stuff with it. We needed a new CMS for our website relaunch and Framer was our first choice, even if it wasn't perfect and still in beta. In less than two weeks we were online. It's amazing that everyone, even without coding experience, can create a website or just update some texts and images very quickly. We did a lot of campaigns with different landingpages and the PM created them directly, with no help from dev or des (beside maybe some last touches from design, you know how perfectionist designers are). It's really cool also the staging feature, perfect to test responsive behaviour properly (let's be honest, the preview function in Framer doesn't really do the job and it's broken half the time). We also got a lot of support from you guys and that was really helpful at the beginning (again: thanks Aroa and John, you showed us some of the best tricks and workaround!) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Framer?

As I was saying, live preview built in framer is kinda useless IMHO. It's broken half the time and you can't really simulate responsive behaviour there. Also the blog-CMS support: we had to do SO many code overrides even for the most trivial things. I know it's hard to ship a product like this perfectly functioning, but the updates on this are well, almost none. There is also some bugs here and there, nothing that isn't solvable by closing the app and opening it again, but it's just uncomfortable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great web creator"
5/5
What do you like best about Framer?

You can create fantastic websites with a lot of previously designed patterns, that help you to do awesome designs and trasitions that would take hours to make for people who don't have code knowledge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Framer?

I think that it would be very helpfull to have a complete access to the code and could share it with the developer. Also they have to improve the relationship between figma and framer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
