## Framer Reviews
 ### 1. Framer is the easiest and fastest website builder ever made

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim Q. | Brand & Product Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

I've been designing websites professionally for 20 years. Framer is the best tool ever made to do this job.

Framer allowed me, the designer for Threads' brand/marketing, to create work that typically requires multiple people over several days.

With the ability to create components, a fast and easy-to-use UI, and a surprising range of examples from the community, Framer is the best choice for what we need.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

Since Framer supports real-time collaboration, it's easy for changes to happen across different viewport breakpoints. Sometimes, those changes cause the various layouts to be out of sync, so I would like to see just a little more friction -- such as the ability to lock edits on a layer -- to keep things in sync!

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I design for the brand/marketing of Threads.com and Framer helps us build our public-facing website.

 ### 2. Best Experience of my life

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amogelang T. | Business & Operations Administrator , Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

It's like Webflow and Figma got married and became unified. The level of detail that Framer Produces is impeccable. Its Figma to Framer Plugin effortlessly copies whole UI Screens from Figma in a split second and converts them into perfect replicas that are fully responsive in Framer with a level of accuracy that is mindblowing and unheard of. It's revolutionary!

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

Nothing, this is the best thing to ever happen to the design world.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For so long, i have always wished for a platform that would enable me to design web pages on an infinite canvas, just like on Figma, Framer gives me that, and it goes a step further by helping me instantly publish sharp and awesome prototypes and web pages

 ### 3. Next Gen website builder

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Américo S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

It's crazy how easy you can make a amazing website. I've been using framer for about 5 to 6 months and I'm completely in love with it

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

For me it's missing a ecommerce integration but the community is working on it

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No coding is just simple and straight forward and I think that framer makes it even easier.

 ### 4. Rewarding and very surprised by the ease of use and its fast loading

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jhon G. | Web designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

Its way of designing for a website is unique, its learning curve is short and its functions make Framer a complete and rewarding experience when starting a new project.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

I would like to have more native features such as: Forms, advanced SEO, more dynamic CMS, being able to create animations within components and an improved styles section.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm working on a website for an educational resources blog, I chose Framer because it gives me great SEO and a very fast loading of the website, features that other builders like Wix don't.

 ### 5. One of the best low-code builders

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zach K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

Of all the low-code builders out there, Framer is one of the best I've used. The default templates are beautiful, the UI is easy to use and make sense of, and it seems powerful enough for most use cases.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

It can be complicated to get everything looking right across different device sizes. A few times I've found myself with out-of-sync states and I"m not sure why that is or how to fix it. I also find it difficult to get things looking "exactly" right, especially when it comes to dealing with Grids.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used Framer to build a great-looking company landing page in the span of a weekend. We needed to get something out he door quickly, and Framer allowed me to do that more effectively than any other tool.

 ### 6. Best website making platform

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Palak J. | Product Designer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

Very useful platform to make a website, easy to learn, can make creative elements and interactions, and is very useful for designers who are looking to make their own portfolio

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

Websites made in Framer takes a lot of time to load on mobile data, domains are long, webflow is better in terms of learning the software, photos are sometimes difficult to upload

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Framer is very good for making prototypes to present in a team, it also helps to show developers the interaction we're looking for in the website and can be well implemented

 ### 7. Building websites for Designers

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Darshan B. | Furniture Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

The interface is very familiar as a designer using adobe suite & Figma, Framer makes it really easy to begin creating websites.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

As a designer sometimes it gets confusing to figure out the CMS part.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its solving many issues, some i never even knew about at a great pace.

 ### 8. A Great Alternative to Webflow

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akash D. | Graphic Designer , Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

feels like sketch, behave like figma , working like webflow , its a clouds so anywhere you can access , complexity of the animation workflow

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

free account is very limited, compare to webflow or figma

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

everything is on there from design to publish

 ### 9. Migrated our site to framer, never looked back

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Haris S. | Chief Technology Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

The ease with which we can iterate on design and content.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

I think that framer is lacking in import and export features in the cms.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Interacting quickly on design and publishing landing pages quickly is an important problem we faced before framer.

 ### 10. Simply the best way to build websites

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Will D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

Framer makes it incredibly easy to build beautiful, highly performant sites for your business or yourself. If you can use Figma or Sketch, you can make a site with Framer.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

I'd love to see even more support for design systems and saved styles.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My startup needed to launch a new marketing website in a short amount of time. Framer allowed us to design and build out a new site in a few days without needing to take up engineering bandwidth. It also allows anyone on the team to easily update the site without any knowledge of code. At the same time, Framer is flexible enough to allow us to write our own custom code where we need to.

 ### 11. Amazing and easy to use tool to create interactive and high fidelity prototypes.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Khushi S. | UI/UX Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

You can design complex animations, transitions, and interactions, you can also test these prototypes on real devices and feel how they behave on different platforms.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

It's not a free tool, and also cannot collaborate with other commonly used designing tools like (figma, sketch, etc).

Sometimes it can be time-consuming to create animations.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a powerful tool to create prototypes with animations and interaction, it can be very helpful for a designer.

 ### 12. Some of the best design software I have used, period.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Florian F. | Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

 ### 13. It's like magic

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arnar . | Creative Director, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

Using Framer I am able to get from design to a live site in days instead of months. This saves so much time and gives me complete control over every aspect of the site. The learning curve is super short and if you are familiar with auto-layout in Figma, the transition over to Framer is a breeze. I really like how commited the developers are to the product, releasing new features an updates weekly.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

It would be great to have more text style options, such as vw and rem sizing for those fluid text based layouts, but I'm confident that we'll see some updates to that in later versions. Having more User levels would be good, for example CMS editor, instead of having to give users full editor rights.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Framer allows me to design and build sites myself without having to rely on developers. Freeing up their time to focus more on our digital products instead of working on marketing websites.

 ### 14. Framer is many level up from the competition

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

The flexibility of the platform allows you to do all kinds of customizations whether you're a developer or designer. You're not locked into a box like some of the other no-code services like webflow or squarespace

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

I wish there was more help from the community / support. I think this will change over time as more people use the platform or more resources are added on their forums

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's easy to use and you can quickly make changes when you need to. I don't have to go through a lengthy process of deploying changes or adding new pages. This especially great for one-off landing pages that are tied to campaigns

 ### 15. Framer will change the way you approach website building forever

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Seth B. | Chief Financial Officer & General Counsel, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

How different from Wordpress it is. It actually makes intuitive sense.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

Some of the strangeness is apparent when it is obvious someone transferred it from Figma. It feels like the icons on the side, etc., could be organized in a better way.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Framer provides me with fully functional websites that are modern and based on React, and they look the part. I promised myself I wouldn't put another client on a WordPress site, and I'm sticking to that promise!

 ### 16. Sometimes slow, but easy to build based on Figma design files.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Spring P. | Growth, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

It supports Figma to Framer plugin, so it was easy to build based on Figma design files.
Framer also has add-ons like Mailchimp, Hubspot where I can build forms and collect user inputs.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

Sometimes its loading speed is slow; I have to refresh it on and on. Getting annoyed about it recently.
But other Web Builders are also slow and comparing to Wix it's much faster.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Framer helps SMB companies to build landing pages much faster and to edit the page much easier.
Our design or messages change frequently, and Framer helps us to reflect it in time.

 ### 17. We use Framer to streamline our design process and accelerate our product development

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pontus S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

The Framer output is robust and fast. It lets us focus on design and messaging. What you see is what you get, but also in the best possible, quickest and most efficient way.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

It is sometimes hard to keep track of all pages and components in a project. It can lead to changes affecting pages without realising it. You always publish everything. There is no granularity there.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had an issue where publishing new landing page experiments took too long, was too restricted and hurt the development of backend features. Framer solved that immediately, and we can now go from idea to published experiment in minutes or hours rather than days or weeks. And when we ask our dev team to build something now, it is already validated. We do not waste time like before.

 ### 18. Super cool design tool for making high-end websites

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in International Trade and Development | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

The ease of desining in figma and publishing in Framer is what keeps me a loyal customer and affiliate of Framer.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

Animations and app features such as found in bubble, if they had this, framer would be the designers mecca!

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Timing to market. Simple MVP websites.

 ### 19. Speediest way to get a beautiful site live

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sasha R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

Incredibly quick to build and deploy a beautiful site. When speed is of the essence, Framer is the way to go.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

Page management is really poor - no way to group pages. Some component wrap behaviors can get a little funky. Usually most things can be worked through, though.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spinning up quick and beautiful pages.

 ### 20. Great potential, need to mature.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maciej Z. | Senior UX Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2022

**What do you like best about Framer?**

Since Framer Sites was launched and Framer turned from a sole prototyping app to website builder it made me want to learn web design, since the designing experience is so smooth. You can design, draw, apply code and publish website in a single tool. It is so much more convenient than other solutions that I am familiar with (Wordpress alone or with Elementor)

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

The development of the software seems chaotic right now and Framer made a total strategy pivot (from prototyping to website building) that might have left experienced users confused. I just hope that prototyping features will remain rather than disappear over time.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Advanced visual website design (with the possibility to apply code snippets and elements), prototyping and publishing in a single tool. It saves a lot of hustle with constant switching between various apps that were previously necessary in web design stack in old fashioned design-build and code cycle.

 ### 21. Highly recommend Framer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Venture Capital & Private Equity | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

Framer is extremely intuitive if you're already familiar with Figma. The community and support is exceptional. The team ships fast.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

There are occasional bugs and issues, but it's very easy to get guidance through the community channel.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Framer is the go-to website builder for all products from our venture studio, as well as our own marketing websites.

 ### 22. Wireframing & prototyping for everyone

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rounak B. | UX Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Framer?**

Framer has been really good at quickly wiring up screens and frames for visual designs already made on other platforms. The prototyping is out of this world and deserves praise.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

The design aspect of working in Framer - the editor - could be a bit more robust and extensive. The current feature-set in the editor is slightly constrained, could improve.

**Recommendations to others considering Framer:**

A great start for browser-based prototyping

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Framer has brought the ability to give interactions to our designs that are as life-like as possible. The main aim being that, creating life-like animations has never been easier.

 ### 23. Design & No-Code & Code (React) Together

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2022

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

3rd party module support and lack of APIs

**Recommendations to others considering Framer:**

If you are a frontend developer or an entrepreneur, it can be a great fit for you

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Designing websites, prototyping UI's, and get React components in Next.js

 ### 24. Framer is my one of the my best tool as uiux design

For the prototype with smart and micro interactions and clicking tools. Also you can get code and look and fill like real mo ile app you can using. The mani advance is I like the powerfull animation mean transition, smooth and perfect.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

As a uiux designer I like all features and functions so special framer team to they have made one of the best tool for us, so no comments here. They have design its like one other level tools for designer.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A special for UI, UX, prototype, Webcam feed, Animation, chat, and also for developer it's provide editable code, components, sharing, library and many more features are in the tool. Just love it.

 ### 25. Fun and easy to use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2022

**What do you like best about Framer?**

Prototyping interactions is fun and simple.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

Not so great to start a project from scratch. Felt like I'd still need other apps to get the job done from start to finish.

**Recommendations to others considering Framer:**

Give it a chance if you are looking to create some cool prototypes without too much trouble.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's an easy way to prototype interactions and cut down on time between iterations and testing with users.

 ### 26. Great

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vignesh K. | UI Designer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Framer?**

I contains more realistic animations, in prototype mode

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

Less collaborative and it has limited design community

**Recommendations to others considering Framer:**

Increase the number of plugins

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me rapidly prototype my designs with ease

 ### 27. Frame is good tool for interactions

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2021

**What do you like best about Framer?**

Prebuilt animations in framer and triggers for animation.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

Scrolling interaction and prototype linking

**Recommendations to others considering Framer:**

It's a bit different from other design tools and slight learning curve

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps to create effective User interface design in a fast and efficient way.

 ### 28. Online interactive & collaborative prototyping tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohini K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Framer?**

The ability to collaborate on any particular idea prototyping online with ease is the most helpful feature of Framer. The code in Framer prototypes is directly usable on live projects, saving time and effort to write similar design codes again.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

I find the coding part most challenging to go through while using this application. Furthermore, the interface and workflow are still a bit confusing for new users.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been using Framer to collaborate on any web design prototyping online, which has helped us work on any designs smoothly during this pandemic situation.

 ### 29. Great for prototyping

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2018

**What do you like best about Framer?**

I love prototyping interactions and animations. Framer is absolutely the best way to do this.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

Live demo can be a bit slow and a big laggy, esp when trying to screen capture.

**Recommendations to others considering Framer:**

A little pricy, but definitely worth it!

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prototype to facilitate design presentations to engineers/PMs
Giving them a moving visual helps so much

 ### 30. Fantastic and Powerful Prototyping Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aalok T. | Freelance Designer, Graphic Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2018

**What do you like best about Framer?**

The flexibility and logic based interactions. The sky is the limit

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

It's webkit based, so native mobile features (haptic touch, camera, etc...) are not accessible. The design tab is not where it needs to be yet for production use, but quickly getting there. Modules and organization of modules is a bit fractured and hard to keep track of.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Design-to-dev hand off and ideation for real app behavior. Prototyping interactions through Framer has allowed me to be able to solve problems faster and showcase an idea to other team team members more effectively

 ### 31. Design UI interactions with code

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arpad S. | UI, UX & Visual Designer | WordPress Developer, Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2016

**What do you like best about Framer?**

I really like the ability to tweak the interaction parameters, write and edit code to customize the animations. It's a great tool for those who don't afraid of coding, however you don't really need to know how to code, but it extends your possibilities greatly.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

The learning curve is somewhat steep, but on the other hand there are already lots of resources. You'll need to know Coffee Script to get the most out of the software.

**Recommendations to others considering Framer:**

It's a great tool for tech oriented designers with a passion for interaction and motion design.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're visualizing micro animations for the UI's we create. Also is a great tool for high fidelity mobile app prototyping. I even could make splash screen animations in it, so basically you can see your product right from the loading screen, with all the interactions a user can make, without coding it first.

 ### 32. Steep learning curve, developer friendly

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel L. | Lead UI Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2017

**What do you like best about Framer?**

When you have a prototype up and running, the code output is what makes the difference with framer. It bridges a gap between front end and developers. This means that devs get a more precise idea of what you're attempting to design with motion especially.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

As a UI designer with just basic HTML experience, the learning curve is kind of steep. Also, this is very much for designers who have a solid grasp of front end coding and css concepts. It's also written in a language of it's own that's supposed to be easier to pick up- but how easy it is to pick up is going to depend on the designer.

**Recommendations to others considering Framer:**

If you're able to get past the learning curve of a new basic programming language, it's good. But if that's a challenge, it may present alot of friction in implementation.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoping to find a solution that communicates motion and design intention more precisely to a development team. It really does help developers understand the math of what you as a desinger are trying to accomplish in a specific way.

 ### 33. Best Interactive Prototyping Tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie P. | Web & Digital Product Manager, Media Production, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2017

**What do you like best about Framer?**

There is fantastic documentation and a solid community surrounding the product. The open code base means many people add to the libraries and create plugins. It's a great in between for higher fidelity mockups and has really helped improve the workflow of our product development process.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

Requires some coding knowledge, which is not a problem, but adds to the learning curve. However, it's worth it.

**Recommendations to others considering Framer:**

Take a course. Do projects. Learn by doing and excel at communicating design within teams and to clients.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps me communicate interaction design to visual designers and developers much more easily. Before, we had to find other examples and tell everyone to imagine it within our project. Now, we can just design the in between specifically for the product. We can also create our own libraries.

 ### 34. Quick and easy to learn

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Enrico C. | UI & Frontend designer, Entertainment, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2016

**What do you like best about Framer?**

I like the function for import design from Sketch and the new possibility to create prototype without write code.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

Basically I like everything, I don't use it anymore only because I don't need to make complicated prototypes so Principle fits for me better.

**Recommendations to others considering Framer:**

I recommend it only if you have a basic knowledge of Cooffescript, otherwise it's difficult to use it.
Anyway there is a Facebook group where developers are very active and willing to help.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

You can make more complicated prototypes than with Principle.

 ### 35. Supports great effect but requires lots of efforts for first-time users.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2016

**What do you like best about Framer?**

Framer makes it possible for UX designers to showcase their design in an easier way. It is really good for professionals to express their ideas and support the ideas by really clickable and feasible solutions. Overall it is really helpful for designers to communicate with developers or product team.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

It required a lot of time input to learn how to user Framer. I had some basic programming skills like HTML, Javascript and even a bit of Python, but it was still difficult for me to dive into the coding part. The tutorials help just basic ones and I wish there are more intermediate examples/templates available.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's mostly validating ideas and showing that the design is codable. Sometimes developers push back the ideas, as designers, you need to validate that they were really feasible ones. The application is like a bridge between designers and developers that help them build their common ground.

 ### 36. Framerjs has enhanced my skills in Prototyping

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Utkarsh M. | UX Designer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2016

**What do you like best about Framer?**

- Side by side preview (live preview)
- Autofill as you type

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

- Debugging becomes a tough task when misspellings are not highlighted

**Recommendations to others considering Framer:**

It is one of the best prototyping products which offer you a lot of flexibility. With the new features like AutoCode, it becomes more aligned with its vision to help designers prototype faster. Also, the team behind looks super efficient and they are always listening to you.

The Support Community is one of the best I have ever seen. Have any question? Just post it on Fb Community and you'll get so many responses. Hence, you can never get stuck.

Highly recommend framer.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Makes me efficient in expressing my ideas to higher stakeholders. Also to coders.
- Empowers me as Designer
- Can do multiple iterations

 ### 37. A little tricky, but neat.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2016

**What do you like best about Framer?**

I like being able to do animations for developers. It's much easier to make it in Framer sometimes than try to explain it.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

I find it hard when I get stuck in coding to be able to do what I want. I don't have a programming background and find it difficult.

**Recommendations to others considering Framer:**

It's really hard to learn if you've never had any programming background.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Animations.

 ### 38. New user

**What do you like best about Framer?**

Flexability, design of Studio software, comunity

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

Steep learning curve, time consuming, lack of web support

**Recommendations to others considering Framer:**

Do not fear to code a little

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prototyping of interfaces for web applications. I am picked Framer for learning javascript on cool design examples. In feature I do not plan to use Framer because of lack of web support

 ### 39. Framer is a great prototyping tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarvagya V. | Software Engineer, Medical Devices, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2016

**What do you like best about Framer?**

That it's written in JS and provided examples help you get started very quickly.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

Chrome and safari are the only supported browsers. I wish they at least supported Firefox.

**Recommendations to others considering Framer:**

Find an example that closely resembles what you want to do and tweak the code to get started asap.
The Facebook community is very active and they respond to questions quickly. Use it :)

 ### 40. Amazing realistic prototyping tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachel W. | Experience Designer, Marketing and Advertising, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2016

**What do you like best about Framer?**

What I like the best about Framer is its ability to create an extremely accurate prototype through code. This allows the developers to understand exactly what interactions you're trying to get across.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

I dislike that it is completely based on writing code. This limits many people who do not have the ability to write code.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Benefits I've realized are the ability to share with clients and developers exactly what I'm looking for in design animation.

 ### 41. Gold standard for prototyping interactions

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2016

**What do you like best about Framer?**

- Allows interactions to be functionally defined through a robust scripting language
- Easy to quickly visualize results

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

- Learning curve for beginners, albeit well worth the investment of time

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the best tools for presenting the nuances of interactions. More than design comps, Framer provides developers with high-fidelity, functioning interactions.
