What I like best about Framer is ithat you can build full websites directly within the tool. The drag-and-drop interface simplifies design, while the option for custom code adds flexibility. Its perfect for its balance of ease and power. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It can feel overwhelming for those new to the tool. The learning curve is quite steep, specially if you want to master advanced features like the advanced animations or custom code Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My story with Framer started when I, that I already used Webflow, another webflow builder wanted to find a new web builder that could allow me to do things faster and less complicated.
After spending 1 year with Framer and use it not only for my company's page, but with my clients, here are the things I like the most:
(Head's up, I use it every day for my work in case you have doubts)
- If you know how to use Figma you know how to use framer. Easy to understand and also if you don't like Figma like me, it's a great workaround to start designing at the same time you are developing.
- To start is as simple as sign up and build your first page. Back in the time they had AI which I feel is not that relevant for them anymore, but it's really easy to get along with framer for people who are not a designer like me.
- The customer support is quite fast replying in case you have a problem. Actually, they have work a lot this year to get CS in a great shape.
- The implementation with other tools and organization is something I don't control. Since I work mostly with small businesses and is the owner the one who takes care of the page after I deliver. But I'm sure they have great options.
- This year they have launched plugins and other native integrations that are making thigs super easy to use. You don't need to know about APIs or other 3rd parties to start connecting your tools to framer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- They have changed the localization policies and now is very expensive to have websites with languages. You can have them but with a workaround and making some technical adjustments so SEO doesn't get damaged, but still..
- The price is friendly, but I still feel is far from the oldie Wordpress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Initially, Framer was promising with its clean interface and modern design options. The ability to quickly set up pages was useful. However, these positives are meaningless if the platform sabotages itself with major functionality issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Framer suddenly caused all blog post URLs on my website to redirect (via 301) to the /blog page instead of the intended post details. This issue has destroyed my SEO rankings, generated countless Google Search Console errors, and completely ruined the user experience. Visitors leave immediately when they can't access the content they’re looking for.
How can a platform that's supposed to make websites “better” end up crippling a working site without any warning? This error is beyond unacceptable, and the fact that it occurred on a live site shows a severe lack of stability and quality assurance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am a Product Designer and I use Framer for Portfolio website on a daily basis, I can easily create and edit pages and publish them with a click of a button making it super easy to use. I can easily import and integrate my designs from Figma, and since it works like Figma or other simple design tools only, this makes the transition and learning super quick, The user interface is clean and everything is easily accessible, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If I can see more analytics about my website that would be super helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I made a huge mistake by choosing this platform. They do not provide support for even paid plans.
They tell you to post on community thread where nobody can help. If you have a serious project, do not use this platform. It's all good until you hit any minor issue and you will regret this decision. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Has nice interface to build websites but there are alternatives with actual support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best thing about Framer is that it is very easy to use, you can build an entire website just by drag and drop.
I built my entire portfolio in just 4 hours, which would have taken days if it had been done in a traditional coding way.
All the options are very easy to use, framer was also provided with a lot of tutorials to help me get started the web design journey. In my opinion, it's the best no-code tool that I have used to date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing as such that i dislike about framer, because it provides all the features that i wanted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Design & develop at the same time. Advanced Interactions and animations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Pricing policy. Adding locale languages is not something you can even dream. $15 = 1 locale. If you want to add more, $40/per locale + $75/month for site plan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is just best in the market. it directly import design from figma, it is very simple and easy to use just like figma, i have become so fluent with it that i can now directly design and develop in figma Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
it has slow loading, and sometimes does not even load the published content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1. You can just simply give a prompt to the AI and it will generate a proper Website for the Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile frame.
2. You can integrate your designs from Figma and edit them on Framer. It also provides plugins on Figma so that users can easily integrate it and paste the content to Framer.
3. You can add animations and transitions to your existing website to make your website responsive and dynamic using AI and manually too.
4. It also provides templates and tutorials for better understanding.
5. You don't need very much prerequired knowledge to implement it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. The First thing I dislike in this application is Pricing. It only provides some features for free to use. For full control, you have to pay for it.
2. It doesn't allow the user to design independently by himself.
3. AI only generates some prefix websites and templates. It can't add attractive images from the internet. Only it uses vectored images on the whole website which I don't like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
