**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I love using Frame.io for video editing as it offers frame-accurate comments, which significantly enhances the editing process by allowing precise and clear communication on video feedback. This feature is incredibly useful for ensuring that every detail is captured accurately, making the collaborative editing process more efficient and effective. I find this capability to be particularly valuable in streamlining the editing workflow and improving the quality of the final output. Overall, Frame.io has proven to be an essential tool in my video editing tasks, and I highly recommend it for its frame-accurate comment feature.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

I don't like that Frame.io doesn't have a 3D layer, which limits its functionality for creating complex video compositions. Additionally, the absence of camera position features means that achieving seamless transitions is more challenging than it should be.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Frame.io for video editing, enabling precise stabilizing and composition with frame accurate comments, greatly enhancing my editing process.

  ### 3. Effortless Fluidity for Creative Projects

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** rahul p. | Senior Visual Designer

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I love how fast and easy to use Frame.io is. The fluidity it offers is comparable to other design tools like Figma or Framer, providing the seamless environment that designers need. This product allows me to beautifully present screens, which is essential in my work. I appreciate how well organized Frame.io is, making the workflow efficient by reducing half the hassle right from the start. The ease of use extends to the initial setup, which was very straightforward. These qualities not only streamline my design process but also significantly enhance my ability to create compelling presentations for clients, showing them the potential business impact of our projects.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

I feel that Frame.io could improve on some important tools needed for designing a pitch deck. Specifically, it lacks an inbuilt AI image builder and features for video asset creation. These omissions could hinder the seamless creation of comprehensive pitch decks and presentations, which are crucial for my work with clients.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Frame.io to visualize website fundamentals, showcasing clients how their sites will look and impact business. The platform's speed and fluidity enhance design presentations, simplifying workflow and reducing hassle.

  ### 4. Revolutionized Feedback Management with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aman R.

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I find the feedback and comment section in Frame.io particularly valuable for my video editing projects. The real-time notifications are a feature I really appreciate, as they enable efficient communication with clients, allowing them to provide immediate feedback without being time-constrained. This immediacy significantly speeds up my editing process and enhances overall efficiency. My clients are also happy with the system, as it alleviates the need for constant back-and-forth about each detail, enabling us to chat directly in the comment section about specific changes. Furthermore, the integration of Frame.io with Adobe Premiere Pro through its extension provides a seamless workflow for uploading projects and sharing them with clients. The setup process is extremely easy due to the simple and minimalist user interface. I can easily log in, upload videos, share links, and receive feedback from clients without hassle. Overall, these features help streamline the feedback process and make my project management more effective and less cumbersome.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

I experience some issues with the mobile phone version of Frame.io. When using the website on my phone, the keyword input sometimes doesn't pop up as expected and occasionally feels slow. This doesn't happen frequently, but it is noticeable. However, I find the web version on my laptop to be satisfactory without these issues.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Frame.io to streamline project feedback, making the process smooth and real-time. My clients can comment directly on videos, enhancing communication efficiency and speeding up editing tasks.

  ### 5. Streamlined Video Reviews, Minor UI Tweaks Needed

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abhiraj s. | 🎬 Video Editor | Dinofroz Gaming (YouTube Channel – 16K+ Subscribers)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I really appreciate how Frame.io streamlines my revision process by stacking new versions automatically, allowing clients to switch between versions easily without confusion. The feedback system is incredibly efficient, with clients able to leave comments directly on specific timestamps, which makes addressing feedback straightforward and eliminates guesswork. I love the link sharing capability because it simplifies access for clients. Just one link is all it takes for everything, and clients don't need an account to view it. Also, having control over whether they can download or just view ensures my files' security and relevance. These features work together to keep the workflow smooth, organized, and professional, helping me avoid the back-and-forth complication that was common with previous tools. Overall, the ease of setup with Frame.io was a bonus, as it allowed me to quickly start working with it without any fuss. The clean interface made operations intuitive and expedited the entire setup process.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

One aspect that frustrates me about Frame.io is the UI design. Although the colors are cohesive and create a clean theme, the similarity among button appearances occasionally causes me to click the wrong one when working quickly, which can be mildly problematic. Additionally, uploading large files seems slow when my internet connection isn't strong, and I find the free storage limit to fill up quite rapidly. These are not major issues, but addressing them would enhance the overall experience.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Frame.io eliminates version chaos and confusion, with organized version stacking and clear time-stamped feedback, streamlining client reviews without clutter. Link sharing is effortless, keeping clients engaged without account demands, saving back-and-forth time.

  ### 6. Ultimate Collaboration Tool for Video Teams

The smooth playback is also great, and the integration is a big plus. It's easy to use even for clients. It helps save time by solving common problems in video and animation workflow. The ability to see exactly which frame or moment needs changes removes confusion, and keeping all feedback in one place simplifies the process. The automatic version stacking makes it easy to track revisions and compare updates. The initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

nothing

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Frame.io improves collaboration with frame-accurate comments, version control, and smooth playback. It centralizes feedback, reduces long emails, and simplifies revision tracking. These features save time and make it easy for clients to use.

  ### 7. Professional Video Collaboration, Worth the Cost

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shaif I. | Assistant Design Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I find Frame.io to be a good platform, especially for video collaboration with clients. It's fast and professional, which really helps my team. I like how it helps to store our work data in one centralized platform. One of the features I enjoy most is the collaboration aspect, particularly how we can write comments frame by frame. This frame-by-frame commenting is really useful because if anyone needs to change something, they can just comment on that specific timestamp. It's not hard to use; it's actually pretty easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

The pricing is a little bit high for me and our team.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Frame.io for video collaboration with clients, which is fast and professional. It helps store our work data centrally and allows frame-by-frame comments, making it easy to suggest changes at specific timestamps.

  ### 8. Streamlined Video Collaboration with Frame.io

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Traian P. | Student

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I love using Frame.io primarily because it has significantly streamlined my video content review process. The platform offers a clean and intuitive interface, which makes organizing and structuring media assets smooth and effortless. I find the collaboration features indispensable, as they facilitate seamless communication with my team. The timestamped comments are particularly valuable, as they allow teammates to leave precise feedback, eliminating any ambiguity during the reviews. This feature, combined with the centralized management of video drafts, has alleviated issues related to messy feedback and version confusion. The result is faster and more organized collaborations and approvals. Moreover, Frame.io’s integration with tools like Adobe Premiere Pro and cloud services such as Google Drive fits perfectly into my existing workflow, ensuring a smooth transition between different stages of video editing and review. The easy initial setup and intuitive onboarding meant that my team adapted quickly, without the need for additional guidance. Overall, Frame.io has replaced our previous system of shared folders and emails, offering a much more efficient and organized means of handling video reviews.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

I find the upload speed for larger files can sometimes feel slow, which is a bit frustrating. Additionally, some advanced features are a bit hidden in the interface, which makes navigation less intuitive. Making key tools easier to find by organizing advanced options into more intuitive categories and adding clearer labels would be beneficial. Reducing the number of clicks needed to access frequently used features would make the workflow smoother.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Frame.io to streamline video review workflows by organizing drafts and feedback, eliminating version confusion, and enabling precise, fast collaboration with timestamped comments.

  ### 9. Simplifies Communication but UI Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** jatin s. | Brand Identity Designer

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I appreciate that Frame.io removes confusion by letting clients comment directly on the video. The best part is the client can directly comment where change is needed, which means no confusion at all.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

The UI is confusing at first; it was really confusing to see the big screen after uploading the video before sending it to the client for recheck. Having to double-tap to big screen is also not intuitive; if there was an icon to preview the big screen, it would be easier to understand. An improvement could be having short in-app tips or a learning guide showing where to find features, similar to a beginner's guide in Photoshop.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Frame.io to send videos to clients for feedback. It removes confusion by letting clients comment directly on the video.

  ### 10. Efficient Platform for Post-Production Feedback

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben D. | VFX Coordinator

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I like that Frame.io acts as a submission system and a review board, so feedback appears where I upload the work, making the process efficient. I appreciate the fast upload times and the efficiency of use, avoiding the frustrating 'speedbumps' that some other submission platforms have. It's simple and easy to use, and the initial setup was extremely easy.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

Downloading annotated frames from feedback isn’t always easy. A simpler system such as a ‘save image’ button or option would help.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Frame.io acts as a submission system and review board, efficiently uploading work and providing feedback. It avoids complex security measures, making access smoother.

  ### 11. Cool Concept, But Onboarding Makes It Hard to Grasp the Full Scope

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

Cool concept, and its nice to have an centralized tool for creative work that csan boost collaborative perfoemance. Good clean UI , easy to use overall. It was nice and straighfoward to share feedback sepfic for parts of an video.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

In my experience, I do not think I use the full capacity of Frame.io. I think many users end up using only 5 percent of the product capabilities, from what I have heard from other users, with similar use cases with mine.

I think if there is a clear difference between different types of users and if the expectations are clear for each use case. For me personally Frame.io seems too complex for what I actually need, and it can feel a bit intimidating

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mainly, the collaboration and the way you can share feedback makes the back and forth on a project much easier. I do not use Frame.io from the perspective of a motion designer. I am a product designer and I often need to request motion work to include in websites and mobile apps. Before, sharing feedback on motion projects felt a bit old fashioned, like taking screenshots and adding notes in a document.

I never felt the need to use more advanced tools because I did not do it very often. But when I used Frame.io for the first time, because a motion studio shared it with me during the development of a project, it was really a game changer, especially for collaboration.

  ### 12. Excellent Collaboration Tools, But Tagging Limitations for Non-Seated Users

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Winona L. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I like the collaborating and review features. We often use Frame.io to upload video and animation media to get pinpointed review from stakeholders. We are able to get clarity on comments made to a specific timestamp, and reviewers are able to communicate clearly on by using annotation features to draw on our video as well.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

We have stakeholders who don't have a seated license, so sometimes they'll have feedback for other non-seated users giving feedback and it doesn't tag them. So as a seated user, I'll have to contact them separately, telling them, "Hey this other person has a question directed at you." It would be so much easier if those reviewers could comment @ those other reviewers with the share link.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Frame.io helps us speed up the review process on our videos. We are also using it as a share/media-storing platform so that when someone is asking us for existing media, we can easily send them a share link.

  ### 13. Easy Setup, Real-Time Feedback, Highly Recommended

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bryan M.

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I greatly appreciate how easy it was to set up Frame.io when I first started using it. The simplicity of the setup process was a pleasant surprise. One of the standout features for me is the real-time feedback capability that Frame.io offers. This feature saves me a significant amount of time by reducing back-and-forth communication during the content review process with our editors and content creators. This efficiency in providing immediate feedback also helps streamline our workflows, which is incredibly valuable. My work with Fujifilm, where our cameras have camera-to-cloud capabilities, made the integration with Frame.io seamless and efficient, enhancing our overall productivity. The ability to have creators directly upload content for review enables a fluid and collaborative dynamic, making the entire process more effective. This ease and efficiency certainly add to the appeal of Frame.io, making it a tool I highly recommend.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

I would love to see more organizational features in Frame.io.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Frame.io allows real-time feedback to editors, saving time and streamlining workflows with easy content upload and review.

  ### 14. Effortless Video Reviews, Industry Standard Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danielle K.

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I truly appreciate Frame.io's user-friendly interface, which made the setup process incredibly easy, the easiest I've experienced with any software. The capability to review video content quickly and directly annotate frames needing fixes is a genius feature that streamlines my workflow. The comment section, which allows me to specify edits directly on the timeline, and the version stacking feature, are particularly useful to me. I also enjoy the real-time editing and collaboration functionalities, which have significantly enhanced teamwork on projects. Additionally, Frame.io being recognized as an industry standard adds to its appeal, reinforcing my decision to keep using it. The pairing of Frame.io with Adobe Premiere Pro has been seamless and beneficial. Overall, Frame.io’s combination of ease of use and powerful features makes it an indispensable tool for my video production needs.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

I would add a storage feature for video content.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Frame.io lets me review videos quickly with direct feedback on frames, streamlining the review process. The comment section helps specify edits, and version stacking is invaluable. Real-time editing and collaboration enhance my workflow, making the platform user-friendly and industry-standard.

  ### 15. Overall Experience Falls Short For Individual User

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

Easy-to-use interface and similar to Canva. I like the part that frame.io is more like asset based. I don't need to fix and adapt every single thing. I was able to use it without any tutorials, just my basic knowledge was enough.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

Even though I said the interface was easy to use, it was also too crowded. I got jumpscared with pop-ups that says "learn more" or "discover" etc. And ıt looks too contemporary and for me this clashes with easy to use aspect. And for an individual user, its expansive.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed Frame.io to edit and organize some interviews for my master's thesis research. made the communication between my supervisor easier. And i did not need to send mails with huge attachements

  ### 16. Real-Time Feedback That Enhances Collaboration

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephen L.

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I appreciate Frame.io's ability to provide real-time feedback, which significantly enhances my project workflow by allowing timely comments and inputs. The ease of setup is another feature that I find truly beneficial. Simply clicking on a link to leave a comment and entering my email address makes the process straightforward and user-friendly. This simple setup saves time and integrates seamlessly into my daily tasks. Furthermore, the platform's flexibility in allowing comments and feedback without requiring all contributors to be present simultaneously is incredibly convenient. It enables collaboration at each individual's convenience, enhancing overall productivity.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

I'm not sure if Frame.io allows leaving photo comments for visual references. Being able to add photo comments would be more useful to me than just typing comments.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Frame.io for real-time feedback, allowing me to leave comments at my convenience without needing to be in the same room, enhancing collaborative efficiency.

  ### 17. Streamlined Video Collaboration with Room for App Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Haylee L. | Events Team Staff, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I use Frame.io for video review and collaboration. I love that feedback is all in one place, so I don't have to deal with piles of emails when new messages are sent. The layout is professional and appealing to the eye, making it easy to look for where I need to go. Uploading assets and being able to compare them side by side is the most useful feature to me. The initial setup was relatively easy, and everything was straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

The mobile app needs better commentary visibility and better annotation precision. It would be helpful to have improved asset comparison features for mobiles and tablets.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Frame.io for video review and collaboration, which keeps feedback in one place, eliminating piles of emails.

  ### 18. Frame.io: A Professional, Central Hub for Managing and Commenting on Media Projects

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I like Frame.io because it is a professional tool for creative teams that allows me to centrally and conveniently my view, comment on, and manage my media projects online.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

I like everything about Frame.io but for me the price is kind a big, for example plan pro is 15$ per month, I think the price have to be lower something like 10$ per month. But everything else is good.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Frame.io can help me to avoid sending large files back and forth by email or messaging apps.
It allows me to get clear, time-coded feedback in one place instead of scattered comments from different platforms.
I can easily track versions and approvals, so you always know which file is the latest one.
This saves my time, reduces misunderstandings, and makes my workflow more professional.

  ### 19. Enhances Video Workflow but Can Be Overwhelming for New Users

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Madalena F. | Product Designer II, Design

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I really like the ability to comment on specific parts of the video in Frame.io, which is a feature that stands out to me. The comments are timestamped, which is very useful for precise feedback and collaboration. Additionally, I find the prioritization and organizing capabilities in Frame.io to be very effective, especially with the use of keywords and tags. This helps me to efficiently manage and categorize the videos, enhancing the workflow and making the process of organizing much smoother.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

I think sometimes there is a lot of activity happening on Frame.io. Although the platform has a clean interface, for someone who is just beginning to use it, this can be confusing.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Frame.io to organize videos efficiently. It allows commenting with timestamps, enhancing collaboration, and uses keywords and tags for better video prioritization.

The easy collaboration, UI design and ability for people with less of a understanding of feedback to easily adopt this platform to comment and provide amends with ease

Sometimes the scroll mechanics can be finicky and need fine tuning.

The implementation into premiere pro needs some further refining also

Collaboration and connectivity across the company

  ### 21. Adrian Taylor's Frame.io review

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

Frame.io has been really great at organizing all of my video edits / rough drafts. I like how easy it is for either myself or stakeholders reviewing my videos to leave notes in the timeline, as well as use arrow graphics to point out a specific edit that needs to be tweaked.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

I think storage tiers could be better. I also preferred the older design of frame.io.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to show a draft of a video edit to my head of department, stakeholder, or multiple users at once. Also the ability to share presentation links to stakeholders.

  ### 24. Effortless Video Sharing and Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pranav S. | Research Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I find it very easy to share and upload videos, which helps me keep backups and maintain a record of my work. Additionally, the ability to add comments directly onto the videos allows others to see my thoughts, and they can also leave their own comments. This feature really simplifies communication.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

We work with 360 videos and, when we upload them to the platform, they are converted into a rectilinear format. It would be great if there were an option to view these videos in their original 360 format as well.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This platform addresses the challenges of video sharing and documentation by keeping all assets and videos organized in a single location. The ability to quickly transfer these files to others for collaboration is especially useful.

Maybe a proper archival method so that I can keep things clean.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Frame.io for providing specific, consolidated feedback, enabling solid conversations with animators. The organization and precise timestamp feature ensure animators get feedback correctly the first time.

  ### 26. Amazing Feedback Tools for Efficient File Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

Frame.io’s standout feature is undoubtedly its feedback and comment system. The ability to leave time-coded comments makes communication exceptionally clear and efficient, ensuring the entire team remains on the same page and streamlining the review process.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

One aspect I find frustrating about Frame.io is that it sometimes becomes slow or laggy, especially when handling very large files or when multiple people are reviewing simultaneously. While this isn't a deal-breaker, it does disrupt the workflow at times. Additionally, the free plan only allows for two members, which can be limiting.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Frame.io has greatly simplified my review process. It resolves the confusion of disorganized feedback, keeps all versions neatly arranged, and enhances collaboration with its precise time-coded comments. This straightforward and efficient tool has truly improved my entire workflow.

  ### 27. Effortless Collaboration, But File Uploads Could Be Smoother

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I love how effortlessly Frame.io handles collaboration. Time-stamped comments, version comparison, and quick sharing make the review process incredibly smooth. It keeps all feedback organized in one place, which saves a lot of time and eliminates confusion between team members or clients.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

Sometimes larger files take a while to upload or process, which can slow down the workflow when deadlines are tight. There are also moments when previews lag slightly. These aren’t deal-breakers, but they’re areas that could be improved for an even smoother experience.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Frame.io simplifies the video review process by bringing feedback, version control, and approvals together in a single platform. Rather than exchanging emails or messages, all comments are time-stamped directly on the video, making revisions both quicker and more precise. This approach also helps keep the team on the same page, minimizes confusion, and saves considerable time during post-production.

  ### 28. Great Premiere Pro Integration, But Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Calvin R. | Production Apprentice, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

For me, the best feature within Frame.io is the ability to have a panel integrated within Premiere. This helps me massively in my professional workflow.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

With one of the latest updates, a lot of features within the Premiere panel have broken or introduced bugs. When exporting, sometimes it will add extra frames, not export to the correct location etc.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The benefits for me and my team are efficiency, being able to upload from within Premiere is elite. Being able to view comments from within premiere is a key feature too.

  ### 30. A Must-Have Tool for Streamlined Video Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Individual & Family Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

Frame.io makes collaboration incredibly seamless. The ability to leave time-coded comments directly on videos eliminates confusion and speeds up reviews dramatically. Uploads process quickly, and the interface is clean, intuitive, and easy to navigate even for people who aren’t very technical. It centralizes feedback, reduces long email chains, and keeps every version organized, which has saved our team a lot of time during post-production. Overall, it makes the entire review workflow feel much more efficient and professional.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

The main downside is that large uploads can sometimes feel slow, especially when dealing with multiple revisions in a short timeframe. The notification system can also get a bit overwhelming if many collaborators are commenting at once. Pricing can feel high for smaller teams, and occasionally the mobile experience is less smooth than the desktop version. While these issues aren’t deal-breakers, they are areas that could be improved to make the platform even better.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Frame.io solves the problem of scattered and inefficient feedback during video production. Instead of relying on email threads, cloud links, and inconsistent notes, everything is centralized in one place with clear, frame-accurate comments. This significantly improves communication between editors, producers, and clients, which reduces revision cycles and prevents mistakes. The platform also helps maintain version control and ensures everyone is always aligned on the latest cut. Overall, it saves time, minimizes confusion, and speeds up the entire post-production workflow.

  ### 32. Essential Tool for Effortless Film Production Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Motion Pictures and Film | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

It helps a director or a producer to have a look at the dailies of a shooting day. Everyone in a film production can have access and see how long the ingesting of the proxies is going to take, or watch the footage, or even write
comments. It is very helpful for a film production. I always use it in my job. I am a video editor assistant and I upload proxies or daylies into Frame.io for the Director, Producer, DOP, and editor. I like that it is very safe.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

That sometimes takes time to download or upload files, but it happens in any cloud platform. And also, it does not say when a clip is corrupt, so people need to download it first, see and then tell the DIT that the proxy is corrupt.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When a shooting is taking place in different locations, and the crew is in different locations, it benefits the production because the is and Instant reviews of the Director, DOP, and Editor of the rushes of every shooting day.

Not being able to download in compressed files. There is also a cost for x users and it can get costly.

Consolidating notes into a single place. They have time synced note-taking that can be transferred into Premiere as markers directly to the sequence. This creates more transparency and an easier workflow. It also makes it easier to explain edits and for the creative to understand what clients or managers are looking for.
