The business I worked for could use Foundation for almost all aspects of their construction business. I appreciated the frequent, timely updates, the multiple available reports we used for compliance tracking, and the ease of use for payroll recordkeeping. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The user interface seems choppy. System reacts slow. Custom reports is limited, would like to do more with this. Lacks drag/drop features compared to systems like Procore. Its not browser based. There are a lot of capabilities that Foundation gave us that QuickBooks couldn't. The main issue with QuickBooks was it's ability to handle our accounting with how much the company had grown. That's ultimately why we made the switch. One of the best things about Foundation is being able to share invoice documents with project managers for review online instead of giving them physical copies. There are some functions that we were unable to utilize without upgrading or purchasing other functions despite us buying these functions, and that was pretty annoying. Also, the program ran incredibly slowly, and that bothered most of our users.
