What I love most about the Titus Classification Suite is its robust capabilities to not only protect sensitive information but also to assist in accurately classifying and categorizing data. It greatly improves the efficiency of information management, reduces the risk of data breaches, and helps comply with regulatory requirements. Additionally, its user-friendly interface and ease of integration with other systems make it a top choice in data classification solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While I appreciate the comprehensive capabilities of the Titus Classification Suite, one aspect that could be improved is the initial setup and fine-tuning. It may require a substantial time investment to fully customize and optimize the system according to specific business needs and regulatory environments. However, once this initial setup is complete, it proves to be a highly effective tool for data management and protection. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like best about Fortra's Digital Guardian Suite is it can classify a wide variety documents and files to protect sensitive data but it will still depend on what you have set in the classification. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I dislike about Fortra's Digital Guardian Suite is that it may take time to learn and understand but once you get the hang of it you will be able explore more.
One more thing that I dislike is the lack of Wizard tools for creation of policies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

TITUS has dynamic policy engine which provides and supports your requirements properly. Dynamic policy engine follows event > condition > action methodology. For example, when you want to SENT an email, IF mail body has sensitive content that you want to captured and classification was selected as Internal, In ACTION, stop the sharing. Mail sent, mail classification changed, document saved-printed-closed-saved as-opened-... all events are able used for any non-predict requirements. This ECA provides you lots of scenario and flexibility than others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
TITUS needs to be improved Google Gsuite data classification side. I think TITUS is very limited rule sets in this platform but It is pioneer in Gsuite data classification scope as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Titus enables us to address a fundamental gap in the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) - a lack of data identification capabilities. It is an essential tool for any cyber compliance program. We love the SDK - doing some amazing things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The user interface is clunky. It is not identity aware. We can't dynamically filter tagging options or values based on a user's identity attributes. Solving for this requires the creation of multiple schemas, which are extremely difficult and resource intensive to maintain. The SDK needs to be matured to return more meaningful error codes. Titus ensures any type of documents are classified before they can be saved, printed, or sent via email. Titus also provides easy to use feature for enabling users to assign classifications to any file. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. Setting up Titus server components could be complex, specially if you are doing on-premises deployment.
2. In some instances, the titus agent has been observed to consume high amount of system resources Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Policy editing and publishing are pretty easy for everyday tasks. Debugging on a user level is excellent, and log generation capabilities are a must-have. User negative experience is minimal. First-time use was not difficult; additionally, the training data and documentation provided were clear and required very little background to understand, making the process of onboarding additional IT teams easier than other applications. The file-centric approach of the applications Admin console allows for easier archiving of previous solutions and retooling when needed for other tasks than originally designed. Sending large emails to distribution lists without undue lag is quite important, especially for such a large company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Configuration files decimation and updates can be better set up. The use of AD to tailor Titus's functions sometimes causes issues. Encryption software adoption for emails at times causes sporadic bugs. Installation and removal of the app can sometimes be troublesome, requiring 3rd party software for complete removal, even in cases simply for reinstallation purposes. Services used are hard to pause or stop, even for a sys admin. Debugging for remote workers is quite cumbersome, making it difficult at times to address an issue when limited by remote capabilities and privileges. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
