What do you like best about FortiPortal?

The good thing is that we can manage all the security and wireless things from a single platform, connect it to other Fortinet equipment, and manage them from the same.

What do you dislike about FortiPortal?

I/We have been using this FortiPortal and luckily did not find any issue related to this portal, so I do not have any dislike at this point. Of course, there is always a chance to improve the portal but there is no dislike at this point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is FortiPortal solving and how is that benefiting you?

We had no tools before where we could manage all the security and network devices from a single portal, and we had faced many issues with managing everything.

Once we started using the Portiportal, almost all the issues were gone. Now we can manage all the Cloud-based Security Policies and wireless from a single platform provided by Fortinet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fortiportal's era"

What do you like best about FortiPortal?

In terms of health and updates, it performs a little bit better than some of the other goods. It is very obvious that a firewall is receiving the updated signatures during this time. You typically need to navigate through a few screens in some of the other products to see that, but not as much in this one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FortiPortal?

"Their logging is a bit more challenging for me to handle. There are numerous categories used to group events for logging. I prefer to gather all the occurrences in one location before filtering them rather than dividing my logs into numerous distinct locations. Due to those functional breakups in the logs, I specifically find that troubleshooting on Fortinet takes a little bit longer." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is FortiPortal solving and how is that benefiting you?

It's excellent that it tries to give you access to a single console for monitoring your firewalls' activity and DDoS attacks across all of your environments.

Typically, a cloud-based solution is used. You might be able to access it from home to check on the status of items or receive notifications, such as when your email system goes down. This depends on how it is built. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about FortiPortal?

Updates are regular, very robust, and powerful, with comprehensive scanning of the servers. Overall, it's a good firewall protection system that will keep you and your data safe. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FortiPortal?

FortiPortal is kind of complicated to use and set up. Also, it cannot be installed on standalone computers and can be only used with servers. Heavy on the machines and is a kind of memory hog. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about FortiPortal?

Honestly the best thing has been the interaction between the engineering staff and my department. We have had Zoom meetings and helpful insight into the hardware we have purchased and the licensing demands. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FortiPortal?

What do you like best about FortiPortal?

Better then the older versions they used. Less clunky and easier to navigate. In addition, the ways different data is displayed not only makes it easier to digest but makes it easier to show to nontechnical management Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FortiPortal?

some of the more technical/granulated settings are deeper and harder to locate sometimes. while the older interfaces were clunky, all the available options were without navigating everywhere and/or settings being renamed. What do you like best about FortiPortal?

"A nice and compact service portal from Fortinet"

What do you like best about FortiPortal?

Simplified UI.

API integration with existing IT infrastructure.

Secure SD-WAN configuration.

Monitoring SD-WAN.

Simple Dashboard to monitor all aspects like log, reports etc.

DHCP and VPN servers are inbuilt. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FortiPortal?

Slower reloading time; page takes longer time to load the item.

Sometimes freezes.

Configuring the SD-WAN is a complicated task.
