Sometimes I find myself readjusting the way tables and rows are positioned in a Word format, in order for all the data to show on one page only. However, those layout issues are more due to Word than FOF. I guess, maybe for version 2.0, FOF could have its own document generation system instead of exporting to Word? System is flexible, powerful, and easily adaptable to many different applications. We were able to use existing templates and got them integrated into our user platform relatively easy. User friendly, app does save any information entered if you have to quickly exit or loose service. Fantastic customer support.
Since we started using Forms on Fire we have expanded its use to many more applications. We mostly used it for creating observation records and sampling logs. Now, we have expanded into using it for inspections as well. That has saved a lot of time and money for our client as we can create final reports of our inspections easily and quickly. In addition, we created links to our historical data for the users in the field to use. That way they can access previous inspections to figure out what might be going on. Some features are still being worked on, at times can become unstable and crash on us in the field. Fortunately, the entered data is being saved and we loose little time until we are back up and running. As we work a lot in remote areas with no cell service, a offline version would be nice.
