**What do you like best about Foreplay?**

What I love most is the Chrome extension. Being able to save ads from the Meta Ad Library with one click before they get deleted or expire is a lifesaver. No more dead links or chaotic desktop screenshots. It makes competitor research actually organized and saves me hours of manual work.

**What do you dislike about Foreplay?**

Honestly, the price is a bit steep compared to simpler ad savers, especially if you're just starting out. Also, the search filters can sometimes feel a bit clunky or lag when you're digging through massive backlogs of ads. But honestly, for the time it saves you, it's still worth it.

**What problems is Foreplay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It completely stops the creative block when trying to come up with new ad concepts. Before this, my inspiration was scattered across random bookmarks, dead links, and desktop screenshots that I could never find when briefing the team.

Now, I have a central hub where all competitor ads are saved forever. It saves me hours of manual research every week and allows me to launch data-backed ad ideas way faster.

**What do you like best about Foreplay?**

I appreciate Foreplay for its easy use and clear interface, which makes it very user-friendly. It effectively streamlines the process of looking through multiple competitors by providing direct insights without taking too long. I also like that it offers multiple options for change, making it versatile. The platform's metrics are great, and I find the UI/UX to be clear and easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about Foreplay?**

I don't like that the trial used to be free for a couple of days, but now you have to put your card to use it, which I feel may deter new customers. The initial setup was easy, but the requirement of a card now makes it a bit sad.

**What problems is Foreplay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Foreplay to streamline looking through multiple competitors' ads. It provides direct insights, has great metrics, and the UI/UX is clear and easy.

**What do you like best about Foreplay?**

I really like Foreplay for its great features that let me lock onto competitors and follow everything they launch weekly, which is very nice. The API feature is a game-changer for me. It helps me stay updated on competitor moves and adapt my strategies accordingly. I can also see their new creatives and learn from their successes and failures, which is extremely useful to optimize my own ad concepts and strategies.

**What do you dislike about Foreplay?**

I feel like the discovery could have more features, in terms of ads style, ads category, ads purpose. Back in the days, I couldn't find features as granular as on Altria. For example, on Altria, as soon as you follow a brand, you can see all of the landing pages, which is maybe a bit different than ads, but it's still good to know about. I'm not sure if Foreplay is as granular.

I use Foreplay to monitor competitors and create diverse ad concepts, understanding their success or failure. Its features let me lock competitors and track their launches weekly, adapting my strategies. The API feature is a game changer for me.

I use Foreplay for creatives and competitor research, and I like the Spyder feature because it makes comp research very straightforward and easy to organize. Unlike other apps like ShopHunter, it’s the easiest for comp research. The initial setup was very easy for me; I signed up and got 50% off my first month.

**What do you dislike about Foreplay?**

There are no blaring inconveniences about the app. It is very say to use, navigate, and operate.

**What do you like best about Foreplay?**

1. Product UX. Overall, the Foreplay product is super easy to understand and navigate across. Our team is able to get our work done extremely fast and easily, whether it's searching and bookmarking ads across a certain industry, or reviewing our own swipe file.
2. Smart. Foreplay provides all of the searching, sorting, and filtering of ads that our creative team needs, without any clutter.  
2. Affordable. Similar tools on the market cost up to 5x or more for nearly the exact same functionality. Foreplay is a no-brainer in that sense.

**What do you dislike about Foreplay?**

Nothing as of yet. In the future, hopefully Foreplay adds new ad platforms like YouTube ads (Google Ads), Reddit ads, and more, which would make the product even more valuable.

**What problems is Foreplay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding creative inspiration is hard, and trying to do so by browsing social media feeds as a user isn't very efficient. Foreplay allows our team to browse the top performing ads across multiple industries, to find our own inspiration and learn from what creatives seem to be working (and not working)  for other teams.

Yes. If you make a lot of social media ads for a living and you're tired of living in spreadsheet hell, just get it. It saves a ridiculous amount of time.

**What do you dislike about Foreplay?**

It costs money. This isn't a free tool. If you only run an ad once a month, it's probably overkill.

It's mostly for social ads. If you live in the world of Google Search ads, this won't be as useful.

It's a HUGE timesaver. Seriously. The amount of time you'll save on hunting for inspiration and briefing your team is worth the price alone.

No more lost ideas. That ad creative graveyard on your desktop? Gone.

It connects creativity with cash. You can finally prove that the funny ad you wanted to make actually brought in sales.

Before, we used to save Facebook ad links or screenshots, which would often get lost or go inactive, but now with Foreplay, everything stays forever. I really like its visual nature.

What I like best about Foreplay is how it turns chaotic ad inspiration into an organized, collaborative system. The Chrome extension makes it effortless to save ads from Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, and the ability to tag, comment, and organize creatives into boards saves a ton of time. It's built with performance marketers in mind—and it shows. Everything feels smooth, purposeful, and tailored to real-world ad workflows.

The mobile experience feels a bit limited, and there’s a small learning curve at first. Also, while it's not the cheapest tool, the value it delivers easily justifies the price for serious ad teams.

I've used other platforms such as Atr** but have found that everyone else increasing pricing without increasing features which is a big way to drive customers away. 
Foreplay has been the most consistent not only in publishing new features but actually making sure the valuable data we all seek is actually available. 

Sick of not having ALL the data and Foreplay is the ONLY platform to have everything I'm looking for!

I don't find Foreplay valuable at all. They double charge you and don't want to pay back, offering to credit the amount to the future instead. I consider them non-ethical. Support is trash.

**What do you like best about Foreplay?**

We’re a small ecom team of three, so time and clarity matter. Before Foreplay, we were saving ads in random folders, Slack threads, screenshots on our phones. Now everything’s in one place, organized, and actually useful. We built swipe folders for each product launch, so whenever it’s time to brainstorm, we’re not starting from zero. It just makes the whole creative process smoother.

Not much honestly. Maybe just wish it had better tagging suggestions or autotags when saving a lot of ads quickly.

Creative block is real when you’re a small team wearing 10 hats. Foreplay helps us stay sharp by keeping our ad library super visual and easy to browse. It makes it very easy to perform research of what's working right now for ads. I run a two person team agency and it helps us analyze winning hooks and filter out ones that aren't running as much. I also love how you can save ads you see online as inspiration and study from it.

The price increase definitely through me off guard. Hopefully they honor my previous pricing.

Foreplay keeps everything together, easy to sort through, and allows me to share thoughts with clients, and my team. Also just keeps my own thoughts in one place. Was super easy to setup, and start using. Had a quick question about something, and the team got back to me super quick. I use this often, I have every holiday, every season, and every event categorized allowing me to always be ready for the next round of ads! Was super easy to integrate into my processes (actually made them even easier)

Wish I could add more users on the base plan! Just one more lol Also wish they had a firefox extension

What I like about it is the ability to do research in a lot of brands across the platforms and use it as an inspiration.

The price is kinda high but if the ROI is higher than the expense I think it is worth it.

**What do you like best about Foreplay?**

I really liked the speed of the app, and the simple design. I used other similar tools before, and I have to say they were slower, and more hard to use in terms of UX. Also one of the best feature for me is the ability to easily share different boards with other people, by creating a public URL.

I think they could lower the prices a bit, but all in all it's okay.

I love how it turns a messy creative insp board into a more organised clutter free space. I've found my efficiency and speed in work increasing as it only takes a couple of seconds to save an ad as opposed to screenshotting the screen, screen recording etc. 
Must have!

Maybe could be a little cheaper it is a little cost heavy.

The entire process of creating Ads for my clients has changed thanks to the simplicity and effective way we are able to build out swipe files for my marketing agency. It was so simple to add people from my team and implement Foreplay as a new tool to have for my team. It was very easy and simple to install the chrome extension and it allowed us to get started on day 1. We are using it so much in everything we do for our marketing agency.

I wish that we could easily move Ads that we saved from folder to folder, the ability to adjust or make changes to our plan easily as I am having a hard time finding that in the settings.

Actually, Foreplay is far ahead when it comes to having the most extensive ad library among others. Its user experience (UX) is great -- mostly because it lets you know how long an ad has been running, making navigation feel like a breeze. The price is reasonable and this tool should be in every media buyer’s arsenal. You no longer have to worry about messy desktop folders and text files for saving captions as this problem has been solved by Foreplay.

I love Foreplay. The Chrome extension is one of the best tools you can install to use. From downloading ads to even downloading organic social posts that you like, it's great. Then you can go find inspiration or follow some experts. It makes creating briefs for ads easier without a doubt.

I think there are some bad ads and a ton of non-English ads and even if you filter to only English, it someties doesn't filter out the crap. So I guess that's my one dislike is that anyone can save ads and there is a ton of just bad ads and it can be difficult to filter through.

Creatives are visula people so when you're storyboarding or handing over briefs, it's crucial to have examples. Foreplay makes finding examples easy and makes saving them even easier. When Facebook Ads Library got rid of saving ads, I was pissed until I found Foreplay.

Foreplay has so many great features to help save swipe no matter where you encounter it. It has been great as a single place to put all inspo from anyone on the team. 

Being able to tag, organize, and leave notes allows more clarity on why swipe was saved and more clarity on how to use it. This is something our team uses daily as we are writing briefs for our internal team and external partners.

It was tough when first using Foreplay to know the best way to organize swipe. With so many people using it as a reference it needs to be easy to navigate but also not so intricate the setup is difficult. 

Be sure to have a clear structure before integrating into your team, otherwise you will have hundreds of ads to reorganize.

**What problems is Foreplay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Foreplay, our creative inspo was stored in a million places (GDrive, Slack, DMs, Screenshot albums, etc) and using them for actionable next steps was rare. Now, we have a source of truth for inspo and can easily make notes and tag to ensure requests are being actioned upon and there are live assets to analyze and work off of.

The ease of use is for us really important. As a performance marketing agency with loads of clients, it is crucial to maintain a good overview of the competitors. Foreplay has been the tool of our choice since 2021. We've tried many "alternatives", but nothing reaches the potential that Foreplay offers to us. 

Furthermore, the support is lightning-fast (which is important as the agency game can be quite hectic at times). Foreplay was always there to assist and resolve our problems within litteraly minutes.

There was never anything that I disliked. Whenever we needed a new feature it was already in the making (and was introduced a few days/weeks later).

Keeping an eye on competitors and being organized about your inspiration is everything in a creative-driven ad environment. Foreplay helps us to keep an eye on multiple brands cross-platform over a long period of time.

From the swipe file, to spyder all the way to the disovery page, Foreplay has helped me elevate my advertisments to the next level just by browsing through and seeing what is working for other people in my industrys current market

I would say some downsides of Foreplay would be its cost... Especially for unprofitable business looking to expand their knoledge, if Foreplay offered some type of offer for new business like a month free or a month at 70% off, etc etc it would open the eyes of new business owners/marketers and would in the end bring them a hefty ROI.

The biggest thing foreplay does for me is it conviently places all winning ads in one easily accesible spot. PLUS you can create a swipe folder for ads that you deem as winners! You can then somewhat implment what those winning ads have already proved worked

I love how everything is very shortcuts friendly, as it makes it super easy to navigate and quickly switch between tabs so that I can continue to gather new creatives and compare to other saved ones in a very efficient way!

Not much, however I do recall seeing a Swipe File put together by Chase Chappell, and had that saved for a while, but I think after some ecent update I wasn't able to find it. What would be cool would be a social area/marketplace of swipefiles that people could get from the ad creative experts that put them together!

It's something that has become a tool we use multiple times a week. And it's so simple to use and understand, I can directly share swipe files with team members without having to brief them on the platform first.

This is one of the most critical tools for front-end acquisition.  As a media buyer, I use this tool to spy on different products in different industries and rapid test formats for winning ad creatives on my account.  Using this creative brief feature what normally took hours of r&d turned into 30 minutes to create, edit, and send off to our talent.  Amazing product overall.

I wish they would have categories for different industries and a for you page for products similar to the one your are trying to push so that it can make the research and inspiration part a bit quicker.

What I like most about Foreplay is its robust capability for staying on top of competitor analysis in the creative ad space. I wish the Foreplay Experts tab was a bit more intuitive. I reference these boards constantly and it sometimes seems like they're not often updated or easy to navigate.

The tech is incredibly promising. I am amazed at how well the ad library works.

**What do you dislike about Foreplay?**

I signed up for their research tool, Spyder, a few months ago, and I still haven't received what I paid for. For an additional $99 a month, I am supposed to be able to monitor 10 brands. However, over the past few months, I have been unable to access 3 of the 10 brands I am paying for. I contacted customer service, and they said they are working on a new build but couldn't provide specifics. It's a huge waste of money, and I am frustrated that the service is still being sold in this broken state. It's not right, and I haven't heard back from customer service since.
