"Local Font Library? Shame on you!"
5/5
What do you like best about FontBase?

By far the best from FontBase is its quick system performance. By far the only Font Manager so robust and so light at the same time with your hardware. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FontBase?

Almost nothing, maybe that there is a paid upgrade. But honestly, it is so cheap that it doesn't bother me now that i think about it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Really good and simple to use"
4/5
What do you like best about FontBase?

Especially for PC, the lack of ability to categorize fonts becomes increasingly cumbersome, especially when you have a library of thousands of fonts. So, Fontbase does just that, allowing you to create "folders" with customized labels, making finding your fonts easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FontBase?

I did find that with the large number of fonts that I had, Fontbase would slow down and would sometimes take a while to get started. Once it's running, though, the issue doesn't seem to be a problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"FontBase is both quick and user friendly."
4.5/5
What do you like best about FontBase?

I love the ease of use. This is a great software that is very user-friendly and will work with all platforms - which is very handy as I use a PC in the office and a MAC when working remotely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FontBase?

I don't like that the assets are automatically named when trying to download/save into folders. I like to name them myself before saving so I can easily identify them when needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FontBase?

I don't particularly appreciate paying monthly for the use, but it's cheaper than Extensis Suitcase Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Font Base is a Beautiful way to Organize your fonts."
3.5/5
What do you like best about FontBase?

• FontBase has a beautiful, modern, and sleek user interface. It has a bit of a minimalistic feel.

•The app is very lightweight. It opens and loads quickly. It is very responsive and does not lag when moving between functions.

• It is easy to import new fonts, using a drag and drop method.

• With FontBase, you can create font collections for different projects or font types.

• There is also a font preview tab, where you can play around with fonts directly within Font Base and see which font pairings work well before taking them into your design program. You can play around with long bodies of text. I think this is especially helpful for designing websites since you can experiment with font types for heading and paragraph html tags. It could also be helpful in playing around with fonts for a long-form project like a book or textbook.

• The free version has a lot of features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FontBase?

•I do wish FontBase automatically categorized fonts into types like serif or script when you import them in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
