Regarding not being able to delete columns or text—this behavior typically happens when you're working within the Content Builder (find more info about this in the link below). In this mode, column and element deletion is limited by design to ensure brand consistency and alignment with pre-designed templates. To delete a column, you need to be in the Content Studio, where full design control is available, including deleting columns or individual text elements

You may also just need to switch editors—depending on your role and permissions you might have limited editing rights. If you need more editing freedom, you can reach out to one of your account admins so they can assign you a new role.
