Simple and intuitive work flow, does not require very detailed technical knowledge to set up any device. Documentation is quite good. Device management is made so easy with this platform.
In the scope of our engagement, technical engagement and collaboration of Factana team was also required and critical. In that I was happy with the support we got. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Good to have - configure time zones. Data Dashbourd shows time in UTC and also it would be helpful to have stand date time formats rather than time stamp. Some more customization and flexibility to add dashboard cards would be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They want to digitalize and ease every process with tech. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I was evaluating different IoT platforms and finally I have chosen Fogwing because it does not require an in-depth learning of the platform before starting to use it. They provide helpful documentation and I also have found some interesting videos on their Youtube channel, that was the only help I needed to develop my project. I have an enterprise account, so I am able to use IoT Analytics too. One of the main advantages for me is that a simulator is included in the platform, so at the beginning of the project I saw how data were stored and graphically represented and also how alerts are received depending on data values.
Furthermore, their support is superb and quick. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be interesting for me that the dashboards on IoT Analytics could be more customizable. Their structure is fixed, only the type of graph and the attributes can be changed, but not their size or their position.
Moreover, I think that it would be useful if more kinds of graphs were included (I know they are working on it).
In my opinion, the documentation section could also include some explanatory videos (like the ones that can be found on Youtube). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's very easy to go and get set up in the system, UI is intuitive, and there's a great device simulation feature so you can just work in the platform to get everything set up without having to worry about where to get test data from. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You have to read the documentation to get into advanced usage for passing messages into the platform ... but then again why wouldn't you want to read the documentation? ;) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am new to IoT space and exploring the popular platform like aws and azure, most of them required steap learning time in multiple services to collect data, store and analyze. Fogwing is very easy tool, simple configuration setup and by default store and analyze internally. The documentation also very helpful. I registered as community user, requested access to enterprise features, they approved it. Enterprise features are most advanced compared to other tools that I explored. Even though there are documentation site to read and understand, it is better they provide video demo and examples for better idea to new IoT developers. Also the sample SDK simulator is python based, if they provide java that would help java users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
