Almost too much capability ofr a small operation. There is SO MUCH customization, and after working with 3 of the top companies in the automotive data space, FLXPOINT is the best by far that I have seen! They have tons of integrations and loads of intelligent rules that someone with minimal tech skills can easily create. I am excited to continue learning and using the system to improve our Shopify website. We are a little over a year in and loving it! **What do you dislike about Flxpoint?** If I had to say something I dislike, it would be the features. Don't get me wrong, they have a TON of features, but there are a few that would improve the overall user experience. I am sure they will introduce them in the future though. There are also a few integrations that would be cool to see from some of the biggest distributors in my space (automotive). The pricing is also a little hard to swallow compared to some of the other providers, but for the money you get MUCH MORE. So they are not charging you more for nothing, it is money well spent if you utilize all of the tools. **What problems is Flxpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?** One of the biggest reasons we switched away from our previous provider was it would take weeks to make simple changes to our data feeds and months to add new sources to our store. With FLXPOINT as long as you have the necessary data, you can add whole suppliers and push them to your store in as little as a few hours. You also have the ability to make any little data feed changes you want and see the results in an update shortly after. This makes it so much more efficient for us and will hopefully improve the overall user experience. ### 4. The team is awesome to work with. We started using FLX when they were originally just InventorySource and started with them nearly 20 years ago. It is saving us massive amounts of time. **What do you dislike about Flxpoint?** I do not like the limited access to the "prebuilt" connections. We have had issues with every connection. When I ask the distributor for help, they are also confused because they have customers with successful connections. It makes no sense. We also felt that the onboarding experience did not meet up to what we were told in the initial sales pitch meetings. Our site rollout did cause issues with our onboarding time but we were under the impression that our rep would set up all connections. In the initial meetings, it was presented that Flx would be contacting the distributors and working directly with them on our behalf to execute the initial connection setups. **What problems is Flxpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is solving inventory issues. Flxpoint integrations allow easy order automation that doesn't require complicated and pricy 3rd party EDI connectors. After working with several different systems over several years, I am finally able to manage many of the integration processes myself without pricy integration fees and long wait times. A mixture of automation and rules allow us to automatically process orders that are routine and hold orders that might present an issue. We are processing way more orders today with way fewer man hours. This allows us to expand our offerings with the time saved. **What do you dislike about Flxpoint?** Not a lot to dislike. The Flxpoint platform has grown with many new and helpful features since the day we implemented it. They help solve issues or roadblocks that other platforms have just refused to consider. **What problems is Flxpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?** HUGE: Flxpoint allows us to set up pricing rules and have all our selling channels priced properly without manual interaction. In our industry, this is important as supplier costs can vary in cost greatly for the same item. This has saved us time not having to manually price and kept profit margins in line. Also, the ability to set up my own supplier integrations through easy-to-understand templates has been a game changer. Others hide all their integration items and charge you a premium "integration cost" to set things up. Flxpoint chooses to help you set up for success... a win for all. ### 18. When it's working, it does it's job pretty well - keeps stock levels up to date, and routes orders. **What do you dislike about Flxpoint?** FlxPoint is quite unstable, regularly breaking where it fails to update inventory or process orders. This is a weekly occurrence at the moment, with it being down every weekend, sometimes for more than 8 hours. It also had a 3-day outage several months ago that the support team blamed on AWS, but have clearly not architected the service for redundancy. Support is extremely poor, and has gotten worse. They regularly misunderstand issues, claim things are working when they are not, and are terrible at identifying repeat issues and escalating them as appropriate. I've had to fight with them multiple times for issues that have recurred for months at a time before they finally figure out that it's a platform bug. Many other bugs exist, and there is very limited ability to manage data within FlxPoint itself - it generally pushes trash into the various channels that need to be cleaned up manually. **What problems is Flxpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?** Primarily used for consolidating inventory from multiple sources into multiple channels, then routing incoming orders to sources for fulfillment. This has helped us grow our business, however the repeated outages are causing us to lose business and end up with angry customers. ### 19. The tech team is readily available to help via email, chat and Zoom calls. **What do you dislike about Flxpoint?** It would have been great to have a dedicated tech who was familiar with our custom setup so we didn't have to explain the why to our setup/settings when troubleshooting issues with different techs. We can manage our onsite inventory as well as our dropship inventory all in Flxpoint. Easy FTP connections keep inventory quantities in realtime so we can minimize order problems. We would not be able to do it without their software or support staff and would highly recommend using Flxpoint's inventory management software. **What do you dislike about Flxpoint?** The user experience is not as seamless and intuitive as some platforms, however, their team is always available to assist with anything. What the UX experience might lack, their support staff makes up for, and then some -- they are extremely professional, prompt, and helpful. **Recommendations to others considering Flxpoint:** Flxpoint is extremely helpful for our dropship model and managing multiple vendors using different platforms.
