## FlutterFlow Reviews
  ### 1. The best of both worlds (code and no-code), almost

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicolas R. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2025

**What do you like best about FlutterFlow?**

Designing screens is fast and mostly easy.
Implementing complex logic is possible via custom code : you're not stuck with no-code limitations.
Their support has been getting better all the time.
I also love that you can extract the code and move on to a full Flutter app when needed.
As a result, FlutterFlow has become my development solution, which I use almost daily.

**What do you dislike about FlutterFlow?**

FlutterFlow sticks very closely to Flutter concepts, which sometimes translates into constraints, where one would expect the visual environment would help automate more things to ease integration.
When looking for help, the community pages are sadly very complicated to navigate, understand and sort through.

**What problems is FlutterFlow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FlutterFlow enables me to build a cross-platform app in an easy and flexible way. Thanks to the visual environment, I don't spend time coding basic interface and logic stuff. And thanks to custom code, I have a lot of possibilities so that the app does exactly what I need it to do.

  ### 2. A team of four on FlutterFlow can build anything, and run circles around large teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Barrett N. | Product Development, Client Relations, Digital Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2025

**What do you like best about FlutterFlow?**

I appreciate that within one piece of software is design, app creation, API calls, publishing, database management... and everything you need. It's saved me from a huge stack of SaaS products to FlutterFlow being a one stop shop, tied together with a beautiful visual design that doesn't just clump things together but allows complementary features to unlock each other.

**What do you dislike about FlutterFlow?**

It's true... there is a steep learning curve! There are just so many switches, menus and buried features that a single good FlutterFlow developer is more valuable than a hundred average ones, because that good developer knows what the platform is capable of and where everything lives, where average developers don't realize they've only explored the tip of the iceberg.

**What problems is FlutterFlow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FlutterFlow is a onestop shop software development powerhouse, I feel outside of APIs (which are brought together in FlutterFlow) I really don't have a need for much other software. While there is a debate on no-code / visual software development / whatever... I think that FlutterFlow has outgrown those comparisons. At the end of the day, the platform is code all the way through, you can bring your dart off platform no worries, while going back to Xcode or Android Studio feels like going back to 1995.

  ### 3. My favourite app builder

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sara R. | Senior Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2025

**What do you like best about FlutterFlow?**

The thought and effort put into the design of the product and how this relays into the apps build on the platform. Additionally, it's limitless in terms of the freedom, if the features you need don't exist yet, you can simply build them.

**What do you dislike about FlutterFlow?**

They are increasing the price in 2 months. Though to be fair it's a very affordable solution for what it is.

**What problems is FlutterFlow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves me time as it is low-code. I also have much less bugs in the apps built in Flutterflow as I can use prebuilt elements. I also like the debug features.

  ### 4. My Flutterflow Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Frederic S. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2025

**What do you like best about FlutterFlow?**

Flutterflow is a low-code platform, and it helped me create many MVPs for my clients in a very short period. Prebuilt connections to the databases, creating an attractive animated working UI, and having the option to deploy on the web, mobile store, and Apple Store make it very easy for a newbie to create an app and publish it.

**What do you dislike about FlutterFlow?**

Flutterflow promotes its platform as a no-code platform, but actually, it's a low-code platform where a user needs a little coding knowledge to use it and create an app.

**What problems is FlutterFlow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In flutterflow we can quickly create UIs and create a working model for the clients. I mostly use it for the initial version of the app for client's presentation. Code is downloadable and the compicated past of the app can be developed using Flutter.

  ### 5. Flutterflow the best way for web and mobile

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ricardo F. | Software developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2025

**What do you like best about FlutterFlow?**

Flutterflow is an essential tool for developing web and mobile apps with a strong interface, modern and powerful. The integration with Dart and Flutter brings a new paradigm that make the development reach an excelent quality level for the applications. Experienced developers in Flutter and Dart can enrich the apps with code getting features very powerful

**What do you dislike about FlutterFlow?**

I think Flutterflow needs to offer a best way to handle with dynamic masks on the inputtext, specially to give a Native way to users input numeric or datetime Fields supporting integer, double, text or datetime fields in a way more efficient.

**What problems is FlutterFlow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Flutterflow solves a lot of problems, in special developing web and mobile apps with the same code.

  ### 6. Big Fan of FlutterFlow to Build & Launch Mobile Apps

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David S. | Lead Analyst - Enterprise Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2025

**What do you like best about FlutterFlow?**

I've been able to go from novice developer to having a live product in market in a very short amount of time. I love the community and training content, the platform is easy to use and helps new users navigate to solutions. There is both a lot of simple but effective functionality, as well as a huge framework to develop an idea at any level of complexity. Customer support has been very helpful too.

**What do you dislike about FlutterFlow?**

Sometimes managing backend database connections is tricky.

**What problems is FlutterFlow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Flutterflow helped me to build a concept-to-product mobile app and launch it on the Apple marketplace. I learned an incredible amount about software development along the way and I'm looking forward to learning more.

  ### 7. Ship mobile apps like you 're a Flutter Expert

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Antonis M. | Full stack no-code development on bubble.io, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2025

**What do you like best about FlutterFlow?**

Interface is easy to use and very smooth navigation. Documentation and videos from Flutterflow's youtube channel are easy to follow and you can get from zero to production app in weeks if not days. API integration is piece of cake especially with the data types. All in all is my number 1 choice when it comes to mobile apps.

**What do you dislike about FlutterFlow?**

The only issue is when the app get's bigger the editor becomes a little slow.

**What problems is FlutterFlow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Expediting the process of building the app with real features and complex code injected easily saves hundreds of hours for me and my partners.

  ### 8. The future of app development is here!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan T. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2025

**What do you like best about FlutterFlow?**

For the first time ever, text based code is being put into visual form. It's technical, and there's an investment in learning, but no other companies puts the power of code into the hands of so many people.

**What do you dislike about FlutterFlow?**

I think that there can be a few improvements around querying data, but based on their roadmap it seems like they are bound to solve these issues this year.

**Recommendations to others considering FlutterFlow:**

It is going to be a significant investment upfront to learn and get familiar with the tool, but don't give up, it will be worth it!

**What problems is FlutterFlow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I cannot begin to describe how amazing using Flutterflow has been to rebuild the core tech stack for my startup. The product and the community behind it cannot be found anywhere else in the tech world. The no-code/low-code world has a lot of different products given that we are in 2025 and the industry has been around for a few years, but what Flutterflow is doing that differentiates it from all of the other tools is that it is letting both technical and non-technical people build with the power of code in a visual canvas. Literally the same thing that regular hand-code text based developers are doing, you are doing, when you use the tool. You are doing the same thing because after you are done visually building your application, if you want to export the code and use it in another tool, you can!

But aside from the extensibility, the true power of flutterflow lies in its seamless integration with firestore's nosql database that lets you truly build any data driven app or user experience that you want. I also think that they do an incredible job in terms of their product design - when you are using it you truly feel that you are using something incredibly powerful.

Aside from the product and the technical, the team behind it is the best I've ever seen in tech. The pace at which they are pushing out game changing updates is second to none. I can't wait to see for what they have in store for the rest of this year!

  ### 9. Efficient Prototyping with Room for Growth

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Владислав . | Freelance Programmer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2025

**What do you like best about FlutterFlow?**

As a mobile and web developer with experience in Flutter, I found FlutterFlow to be a powerful tool for rapid prototyping and UI design.

**What do you dislike about FlutterFlow?**

For more complex logic or custom interactions, I often need to switch to the raw Flutter code or embed custom functions. That’s not a deal-breaker, but something to keep in mind if you’re building more advanced apps.

**What problems is FlutterFlow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Instead of manually coding every screen, I can visually build complex layouts in minutes.

**What do you like best about FlutterFlow?**

Flutterflow is easy to learn for developers with visual design background. You can build screens, navigation, actions, connect your app to firebase, manage your database. Same effort to get your app running con Android, iOS and web. Excellent series of videos in company YouTube channel to learn Flutterflow from zero to expert, especially university series. Using a Mac you can test your project on iPhone emulator at the same time you are making changes, just 2 or 3 seconds to refresh the app on the emulator.

**What do you dislike about FlutterFlow?**

It must include a tool to manage firestore database.

**What problems is FlutterFlow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rapid development to design screens, flow actions without code.

  ### 13. Best app builder out there

is reduce that number of developers you need, beside it has all features in one place

  ### 15. Great product, extremely bad support

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lou M. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2024

**What do you like best about FlutterFlow?**

An easy way to quickly design and deploy a mobile app project

**What do you dislike about FlutterFlow?**

Customer service is unbelievably bad. I've had to deal with them a few times in the last few months and it's getting worse and worse. You have to send an e-mail and you can wait between 3 and 14 days before getting a simple confirmation... then you have to wait again to get an answer. There are a few bugs in flutterflow, but it's passable because the product has potential.

**What problems is FlutterFlow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Build an app quickly

  ### 16. Is flutterflow the best tool for no-code development?

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juan Camilo G. | RPA Developer - Practicant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2023

**What do you like best about FlutterFlow?**

The facility to integrate API's in the projects without entering into incompatibilities that delay the work. One of the best options I find in Flutterflow is to be able to link the project with Google's Firebase service, it allows the less experts in database connections.

**What do you dislike about FlutterFlow?**

Having to pay so much to have an account with benefits is not something I dislike; however, to have a project with collaborative permissions, you have to make another payment to add collaborators; this payment has a similar price (if not equal) to the user license, so it ends up being more viable in "low cost" situations to develop individually or coordinate access for specific periods (not the ideal scenario).

**What problems is FlutterFlow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The frontend development looks very well optimized, with intuitive interfaces and instructions that resolve issues related to platform use. This allows to increase productivity and improves work times, consequently also the results.

  ### 17. Allows developers to create crossplatform mobile and web applications without having to write code

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yash M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2023

**What do you like best about FlutterFlow?**

ability to generate clean and maintainable code. The platform generates Flutter code that follows the best practices of the Flutter framework. This can save developers a significant amount of time and effort, especially if they are not familiar with Flutter coding conventions

**What do you dislike about FlutterFlow?**

it may not be suitable for complex applications. Since the platform is based on pre-built components, it may not be able to handle advanced customizations or complex features. Additionally, since the platform generates code automatically, developers may not have as much control over the final codebase.

**Recommendations to others considering FlutterFlow:**

Explore flutter flow first and the use for ease

**What problems is FlutterFlow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tool for developers looking to create simple and responsive mobile and web applications without having to write code from scratch. The platform's ease of use, pre-built components, and clean code generation make it a popular choice among developers

FlutterFlow is solving the problem of traditional application development, which can be time-consuming, complex, and often requires extensive coding skills. By using a low-code development platform, FlutterFlow is benefiting developers and organizations in several ways.

  ### 19. Promising

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hamel M. | Founder & CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2023

**What do you like best about FlutterFlow?**

FlutterFlow has an easy-to-navigate interface, intuitive logic, and a relatively shallow learning curve. It also has a fledgling community of users who are willing to help out. The development team is consistently pushing out updates to address ongoing issues.

**What do you dislike about FlutterFlow?**

Due to the infancy of the platform, FllutterFlow can be buggy. Unfortunately, the support function is severely lacking. It is not uncommon not to hear from them for days or on some issues, especially if the problems are relatively complex. This is on paid plans. Hoping they get the bug issues under control soon so they can focus a bit more on support.

**What problems is FlutterFlow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FlutterFlow has held its own among the fast-emerging no-code movement. Since it arrived on the scene relatively recently, it has made a name for itself for its versatility and depth in allowing non-coders to exploit the powerful capabilities of Flutter and Firebase.

**Recommendations to others considering FlutterFlow:**

Try it now and if you don't like it for any reason try it again in a month, you will be blown away by the progress and speed.

**What problems is FlutterFlow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 22. Fastest evolving app-building service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akim E. | Product lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2022

**What do you like best about FlutterFlow?**

The best thing is the speed of prototyping. We can try and test a new idea in a matter of 1-2 days. Getting a real working app instead of just a mockup.

**What do you dislike about FlutterFlow?**

There's yet no real two-way sync between the local codebase and the online editor.

**Recommendations to others considering FlutterFlow:**

If you spend time prototyping apps in Figma - try building them straightaway with FlutterFlow! It gives much more realistic prototypes that can run on real devices. You can also export it to Github and continue building locally.

**What problems is FlutterFlow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I tried FlutterFlow when they were just releasing their product. I remember reading their landing page and thinking "wow, I'm ready to give my money for that". Since then they went so much ahead, adding tons of new features every month and overdelivering continuously!

  ### 23. Super easy way to start with mobile development!

**Reviewed by:** Alisa T. | P, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2022

**What do you like best about FlutterFlow?**

The fact that I'm new to coding and still was able to make a functional app is a really big motivator. I'm going to continue learning Flutter and hopefully build more useful apps in the near future!

**What do you dislike about FlutterFlow?**

There're a few concepts that are still quite technical and I wish there could be more video tutorial to understand them better.

**Recommendations to others considering FlutterFlow:**

If you are new to Flutter or mobile apps development - just try it! It will get you started for sure!

**What problems is FlutterFlow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've built my first app using this very intuitive interface of Flutterflow and learned a lot about mobile apps by doing this! It was both fun and very rewarding to see my app working on a real device!
