## Flurry Analytics Reviews
  ### 1. Great analytics tool get started for any mobile app business

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex R. | Product analytics, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2022

**What do you like best about Flurry Analytics?**

Very easy to setup (especially from Segment). It's free! You get so many great features for free. Good level of customisation within charts, but also a lot of pre-build views that are really useful.

**What do you dislike about Flurry Analytics?**

Compared with Amplitude, for things like retention and engagement, we just didn't find it is as intuitive or as powerful.

**Recommendations to others considering Flurry Analytics:**

No harm in not trying it and using alongside your other analytics tools.

**What problems is Flurry Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick and easy tracking of our mobile app's performance. Easy to use for non-tecnical/data team members.

  ### 2. Flurry is a lightweight, straightforward way to see what users are doing in my app

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2020

**What do you like best about Flurry Analytics?**

It’s easy to set up, fairly lightweight, and straightforward to use. I can see what users are doing in my app. And then secondarily, higher level tracking like how many sessions show me app activity in general.
Also their web and mobile iOS apps are easy to navigate and keep me updated daily.

**What do you dislike about Flurry Analytics?**

There are a few things I don’t use. I’ve tried to use the watchOS tools, and they don’t seem to work very well. So I don’t use those even though I spent some time trying to get it to work.

**Recommendations to others considering Flurry Analytics:**

Try it out. It’s easy to set up and fairly lightweight. It’s just a matter of including a library and a few calls. There isn’t a lot of baggage. It doesn’t have a lot of dependencies on other libraries which would add both load time and binary size to the app.

**What problems is Flurry Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I know what features my users are using or what they aren’t using, then I know whether it’s worth my time to further improve them. There have been things I thought were super powerful. That a user would love. And it turns out they aren’t discovering them, and probably aren’t finding them as useful as I thought. So I’m not working on those features anymore.

  ### 3. Super flexible free mobile analytics tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tatiana P. | Chief Marketing Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2020

**What do you like best about Flurry Analytics?**

How highly versatile the solution is. Whatever the question you might have about your mobile app user base, Flurry has the answer. "What is the share of users in country X that use this feature at least 2 times?", "What is the retention of my paying user base?", "What features my power users are sticking to?". You can be as precise with your query as you choose to.

I suggest you select events naming that will be easy to understand for your team. Focus on the first impression funnel events (e.g. Onboarding Started, Onboarding Completed) and the feature-related actions (e.g. Account Created, Subscribed, Invite Sent, Invite Accepted) that define your active user base. When you are done with the setup, make sure to create 'Segments' to easily filter your funnels when you need to.

There are plenty of youtube tutorials to help you get started.

**What do you dislike about Flurry Analytics?**

It has a bit of a learning curve, as you need to know where to look for the things you need. You also need to design and develop your events taxonomy, which takes a bit of effort. Note though, that any analytics tool will require you to do that. And as to the learning curve, you will have it everywhere, while with Flurry you will have maximum agility to complete varying queries.

**Recommendations to others considering Flurry Analytics:**

- Well, first off, please open Flurry in Chrome. :) For advanced analytic queries go to Explorer > Funnels. Lots of insights await you there. When you are happy with the things you've learned, go to Retention.
- Design events naming that will be easy to understand and remember for you and your team. Less is more, so to start with just focus on the primary funnel events and your apps core engagement and monetization actions.
- Save queries that you want to keep using and share them with your team.
- Note, that your queries are a snapshot in time. Also, the user needs to open the app for the events to be sent to Flurry, so tomorrow you might have a very different result for the same cohort of users.

**What problems is Flurry Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Funnels for CRO and product-related improvements. Measures to see how engaged users continue using certain features, Retention to see how users are sticking around. You can be as precise with your query as you like. Use Segments to filter any of your queries to know how certain user groups are behaving over time.

  ### 4. My experience with Flurry Analytics.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jan M. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Flurry Analytics?**

The ease of use!
It's easy to add the library to your app and start monitoring the events you want to keep an eye on.
We are not using it to monazite on our apps but rather to track what features that we have built are used and to what degree. To get the real information of numer of users, the popularity of platforms, the OS-versions in use, migration to newer version and so forth.

**What do you dislike about Flurry Analytics?**

I'd love to be able to build my own dashboard that contains just an aggregation of the data I want to see. (and it is in the works!!!)
At this point the data points I'm most interested in is scattered across the Analytics pages.

**What problems is Flurry Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For us it's about the reality!
When you have a bunch of apps on iOS and Android you always get peoples opinions of what platform and app is important/popular.
With Flurry I have data show the real world numbers and also what customers that are big users and what customers that mostly talks... :D
This is necessary for me to prioritise features and bug fixes so it helps the most numer of users. And help me to make educated decisions when to stop supporting older versions and to move to new.

  ### 5. Very trustworthy because of single framework. No need to add many framework like competitors

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kunal V. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2020

**What do you like best about Flurry Analytics?**

It is safe to use as far as i see the competitors. While we cannot trust others, we can trust Flurry as it does not have the messy implementation of Big name analytics where there is need to add more than one frameworks which seems odd to us.
Secondly, easier to see real time analysis specially for iOS apps because it shows last 24 hours and apple also shows trends in last 24 hours now. So kind of flurry most useful for iOS apps.

**What do you dislike about Flurry Analytics?**

One of the most disliked thing is the outage. Once in 4-5 months, one day i see users falling. And that day is panic for us. But later on ,when we see its a flurry site issue, our breath goes back to normal.

**What problems is Flurry Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BUSINESS GROWTH is my problem. And I am using flurry to see how basically how many active users are there vs downloads. I have learnt using flurry that if I have lot more active users vs downloads in a month, that app of mine will be doing good in the store. So we thrive to make apps which users use more so that they grow.
Also we see the country analysis of app downloads vs active users and the patterns are different for all, so that is quite useful to us.

  ### 6. Learn how to improve your apps from day one

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sven L. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Flurry Analytics?**

With Flurry I have one go-to dashboard for stats. No logging into different stores. I can compare Android and iOS apps side by side. I don’t have to wait 24 hours for the app store because Flurry has real-time reporting.

**What do you dislike about Flurry Analytics?**

It would be nice if Flurry supported more platforms. I have Mac apps and a Windows 10 app. So if Flurry had those as well, I would have all my numbers in front of me just on Flurry.

**What problems is Flurry Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’m a developer and I don’t have all of the time in the world, so I want to see which app is doing the best so I can focus more on that one, or that kind of app. And if some other app is doing poorly, then I can go in a different direction. Also, for my Android apps, I find it really interesting to see which versions of the OS are being used because it’s quite a hassle to support all of these old Android flavors.

  ### 7. You’ll get a ridiculous amount of insights from it

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bob D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 14, 2020

**What do you like best about Flurry Analytics?**

It’s super easy to integrate and super easy to get value with very little overhead. I get amazing insights into user sets, geographies, platforms. And how the app is used, and if it’s being used in the way I intended.

**What do you dislike about Flurry Analytics?**

This is getting into the weeds, but the support for parameters in analytic events could be a bit more intuitive. After you’ve set up parameters, then you go to flurry, and I haven’t always seen what I would expect to see there.

**Recommendations to others considering Flurry Analytics:**

Jump right in and try it. It takes about 5 minutes to get going. And do it early on in your development cycle early. You’ll get a ridiculous amount of insights from it. You can then fine tune the events you’re sending and keep iterating.

**What problems is Flurry Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Flurry is solving that basic high level visibility problem of how my app is being used. What users are finding most engaging, and what things users may not even be finding. Oftentimes there are areas of your app that are like caves, users haven’t even seen them and we’ve spent weeks and months developing them.

  ### 8. Use it from day one. It just adds value.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amit P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2020

**What do you like best about Flurry Analytics?**

Funnel analysis - how the user navigates or at what point the user drops is the key measure for us. The integration and use of Flurry has been very smooth. It’s very easy to do it. It’s quick.

**What do you dislike about Flurry Analytics?**

One thing I would have liked Flurry to pursue is the deep linking aspect. To say, “Hey, we can help you create deep links because you already have all the screens connected in Flurry.”

**Recommendations to others considering Flurry Analytics:**

I highly recommend Flurry to any entrepreneurial or startup company, or even bigger companies. Use it from day one. It just adds value. It’s a great analytics tool. It hardly takes any time and if you are doing it at the beginning of your application, you can consistently track events in your app to understand how to improve it.

**What problems is Flurry Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

You can select the steps in a navigation flow to see what percentage of users made it to the next step. That gives us insight into where users might be running into a problem. Why they don’t purchase. So we can find the roadblocks or the hurdles that users are facing and actually solve the problems.

  ### 9. Best for event tracking and real time tracking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2020

**What do you like best about Flurry Analytics?**

Flurry’s events are the best in class. We find that events in Flurry are more useful than Firebase. You can slice and dice them better. In Firebase you need to connect BigQuery and offload data there, which is a lot more work.

**What do you dislike about Flurry Analytics?**

We use what’s helpful for us in Flurry. I’m sure there are things that we’re not using.
We would like to be able to save certain presets for quick access to particular slices by app version/os etc...

**Recommendations to others considering Flurry Analytics:**

You should give it a try you probably won't be sorry.

**What problems is Flurry Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Flurry’s real-time reporting to make sure a new release is stable during the rollout to iOS. We want to make sure there aren’t any crashes or any issues. If we see that enough users are using it without problems, then we’re confident that the release is stable. We also use custom events in Flurry. We track user response to new themes we add to the app during holidays. And whenever we onboard a new advertiser we want to confirm that their reporting matches with Flurry’s numbers.

  ### 10. Flurry has everything I need, and it’s free

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel K. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2020

**What do you like best about Flurry Analytics?**

The SDK is good super simple. It’s a CocoaPod. I like how you call events – it’s a one-line event call - and you just put in the event name as a string. And you can do user funnels and track user journeys individually, and Fabric wouldn’t let me do that.

**What do you dislike about Flurry Analytics?**

I have not been able to get Flurry’s push notifications working correctly. I wanted to do pushes for one of my apps. I got the test notifications working fine, but in app store releases, it hasn’t worked. So I’m getting help from support at Flurry.

**What problems is Flurry Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Custom events and funnels are the main thing that I care about. Sure, daily active users and monthly active users is cool, but I can just see that stuff in App Store Connect the next day. The events are really what I’m after.

  ### 11. Great analytics, app dynamic configuration, live console, crash reports and much more.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adrian G. | All, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2020

**What do you like best about Flurry Analytics?**

There are so many features that I don't know how other companies deal without, but the most incredible feature to me is the user journey feature. You can create segments for users of your app/game then look at individual users in that segment and see how they progressed through the pages and features of your game. Think of them as user-level funnels.

**What do you dislike about Flurry Analytics?**

They support the attribution of installs only from Appflyers. With so many attribution providers available and what seems to be a generic intake mechanism, they could easily provide support for other attribution partners.

**What problems is Flurry Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Realtime reporting when releasing a new app, multiple metrics on multiple segments, user funnels, automated push notification based app events, dynamic configuration, and crash analytics. All this provided in one API instead of multiple APIs and multiple vendors.

  ### 12. One of the best analysis tool for Apps

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fabrizio B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Flurry Analytics?**

I like reports of app usage and all the details regarding user, geography and type of devices

**What do you dislike about Flurry Analytics?**

The integration in the app is not so easy to understand and sometimes something is missing.

**Recommendations to others considering Flurry Analytics:**

This application is very good for analytics purposes and is very cheap.

**What problems is Flurry Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can understand how often my users are using my app on the App Store.
Easy to use analyzed data.

  ### 13. Flurry makes our app data accessible to everybody in the company

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Fine Art | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Flurry Analytics?**

As soon as you install it, you have everything. You have the dashboard and you can start using it right away. For us, 60% or 70% of the time, we use Flurry to see the general situation — the number of active devices, the number of sessions, the number of crashes, number of new devices. The best part is that you are sure this data is correct. You don’t have to build it by yourself like in other analytics platforms.

**What do you dislike about Flurry Analytics?**

We’d prefer to use only Flurry but we cannot because our platform runs on both app and web. We need to merge our website data with the app data. On Flurry, you have only the app side of the data. So we’re also trialing Mixpanel for that purpose.

**Recommendations to others considering Flurry Analytics:**

Flurry lets you analyze your app data without having to set up a lot of stuff. And it makes the data accessible to everybody in the company. And Flurry is free, so we of course liked that aspect.

**What problems is Flurry Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Flurry has made app data accessible to everybody in the company, not just developers or analytics guys. Everybody can just log in to the platform. They can use the data to understand our users. This is very important for us because it gives transparency to our data.

  ### 14. It's as good as they say it is

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andre E. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2020

**What do you like best about Flurry Analytics?**

It is surprisingly easy to make queries and access analytics data with Flurry. Also, Flurry is easier for us to implement than Google Analytics. That's important since we develop mobile apps for other companies. For our clients, the Flurry dashboard is clear and easy to understand. You can look at something and you can understand what they are showing you.

**What do you dislike about Flurry Analytics?**

So far I have yet to find any downsides.

**What problems is Flurry Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The other thing that we wanted, or our clients asked for, was like “Can I get the raw data from Flurry?” Either because they want to use a business intelligence platform and input that raw data to see something, That was one of the reasons why Flurry because you can also get the completely raw data as a CSV file or with the API and then give it to the customer.

  ### 15. Powerful Insights

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ramiz S. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Flurry Analytics?**

- Powerful dashboards
- Reporting API to get data to your custom dashboards
- Raw data export API
- It's free :)

**What do you dislike about Flurry Analytics?**

Analytics for A/B variants is not available.

**What problems is Flurry Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Flurry analytics gives us all major insights about our games and help us to optimize our game design. Reporting API and raw data export allows us to feed data directly to our custom dashboards and to take even more powerful decisions.

**Official Response from Lisa Moshfegh:**

> Thank you, Ramiz, for your review. I will share your feedback with our product team.

  ### 16. It has nice funnels, but that's all I can say

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2019

**What do you like best about Flurry Analytics?**

Funnels, user paths look great (like really great, design is distinctive from other analytics I've used). Technical team gets benefit from crash reporting

**What do you dislike about Flurry Analytics?**

I didn't find functionality other than user paths as something that worth efforts of setting up SDK. Other stuff doesn't distinct that much (I'm talking only about product analytics, this doesn't relate to crashl reporting and other stuff)

**Recommendations to others considering Flurry Analytics:**

For analyzing in-app actions I'd consider something like Amplitude. For crash reporting - that's might be what you need

**What problems is Flurry Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Analyzing user paths, crash reporting

  ### 17. Great solution for your apps

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2016

**What do you like best about Flurry Analytics?**

Flurry is very good solution for all programmer who creates mobile apps. If you know programming you can integrate it with your code. Flurry Analytics has good support so if you don't know how to do it you can find it online. This is really valuable tool for your app and it is FREE. I can help improve your app and know users very well. And Flurry works for app on Android, iOS, BlackBerry, Windows Phone and also mobile website.

**What do you dislike about Flurry Analytics?**

This is not dislike because maybe I'm just too stupid but for me integration Flurry in code is not so simple. Yeah simple things are quite easy but more complicated takes some time to do.

**Recommendations to others considering Flurry Analytics:**

Flurry is great for programmers. It really helps with improving applications or games and it help understand what users do and what they don't do.

**What problems is Flurry Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I actually made only one app with Flurry. Me and my client (it is his app) were surprised what users do in app. User Path is very handy. This help us to understand more and improve application.

  ### 18. Useful, Especially for COPPA Markets

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jon A. | Vice President, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2016

**What do you like best about Flurry Analytics?**

That they have a Restricted Feature Set version that is COPPA-compliant for apps targeting kids under 13. This gives us crash reporting and usage tracking without collecting so much personal information.

Really like the real-time reporting.

**What do you dislike about Flurry Analytics?**

Just feels like it's declining in quality now that Yahoo owns it. One time the SDK download was completely broken. Support took 2 days to respond to me but I was able to find a copy on someone's github account.

Don't like the long delay in hits appearing when you first add an app.

**Recommendations to others considering Flurry Analytics:**

It's okay at the moment but I really don't expect it to last much longer under the Yahoo / Verizon umbrella. We're actively considering new options.

**What problems is Flurry Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A big one for us is reporting crashes, in a COPPA-compliant way. It helped isolate one source of crashes on specific iOS devices.

Another big help was a weird use case. We ran a big promotion with a major partner where we needed to know how many new users we gained throughout the day. Flurry was somewhat helpful with this because we could see the realtime user count, but not the realtime new installs. So mixed results, but at least we could estimate the number of users we were gaining.

  ### 19. Decent Analytics, Seems to be not very accurate

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adi P. | Product Manager, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2016

**What do you like best about Flurry Analytics?**

It is free, the integration is simple, and it has all the required basic function.
There are two modes of retention which we likes, they have rolling retention and return rate, which is different. Other analytics only has return rate.

**What do you dislike about Flurry Analytics?**

The data is quite different with other analytics we user, therefore we rarely use it as our main analytics. Probably use it to check the sanity of our data.
The acquisition module integration is also not as complete as other solutions available out there.
Since it was bought by yahoo, it become more uncomfortable to use

**Recommendations to others considering Flurry Analytics:**

It is free, you can try it to triangulate your data

**What problems is Flurry Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We want to take a look at how our user behave in the application, we realized that retention is one of key metrics we need to track in order to build great application. Flurry is the first analytics we use before we switched to other product

  ### 20. Flurry made it easier how my app users are reacting with my App UI

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Md Shahjahan J. | Founder and Head of Ideas, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2016

**What do you like best about Flurry Analytics?**

This is the only product I love by Yahoo. I am using this tool for last few month in some of my Android apps.
The best thing is their API documentation is great and I got few great Library from Github, It's easy to implement the events and track whatever I like for my users. The best thing is actually to get insight of my apps and check where their ending points and improve that sections to attract my regular users.

**What do you dislike about Flurry Analytics?**

The web dashboard of flurry is bit confusing, There had lots of space where they could improve in the dashboard.
I wish I could get more grouped by data from the dashboard and If I could play with my app data into the dashboard that would be super. I hope they will improve the UX and UI with soon.

**What problems is Flurry Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main target of my apps are to keep my users as long possible and that means more revenue from my ads.
I use flurry basically for the followings:
- Get in details events
- Get the exist points
- Get what my users are loving most
- Get what make my app more useful.
- Implement the data in the next version
- Repeat the steps and win!

  ### 21. Decent analytics platform, but there may be better alternatives

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cameron B. | Project manager, designer and co-founder, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2016

**What do you like best about Flurry Analytics?**

Clients love it. For some reason, when clients do their own research on the available analytics platforms, they always choose Flurry. I've had multiple clients love it. Working as a dev, I never dive into the data myself much, so maybe they're the best at offering that? I'm not sure, but my app dev clients love it.

**What do you dislike about Flurry Analytics?**

The SDK was kinda a pain to integrate compared to competitors like Google Analytics, etc. Found it a bit more complex and not as easy to integrate.

**Recommendations to others considering Flurry Analytics:**

I've had more personal success integrating competitors like Google Analytics. But my clients do all seem to love Flurry, so when they demand it, we go with it.

**What problems is Flurry Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

App usage tracking. Offers a good amount of data on what sort of actions users are taking inside of the apps we make in order to improve the apps in the future.

  ### 22. Was the first to provide full mobile analytics, and keep going very well!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2016

**What do you like best about Flurry Analytics?**

I'm using some other crash report and analytics (in parallell, for different clients), and Flurry seems the best. Crashlytics is good for other things, like beta reporting, fast installation, and so on. But, in productive environments, I use, with no doubt, Flurry or Google Analytics. They seems more infalible to me, and they log a lot of info. The info on their crash reports are huge: For instance : In Android, you get the number of users that have the crash, the device, the carrier, a Java stack trace, the date and the time, and much more information. Similar in the iOS case.

**What do you dislike about Flurry Analytics?**

Two years ago, they had a really ugly webpage, but nowadays, it isn't a problem, because I like the actual web, and even they are opening in form of beta / preview (as of Juny 2016) a newer design, and I like it too.
Resume: No dislikes at all

**Recommendations to others considering Flurry Analytics:**

Their webpage had changed, seems much more intuitive now

**What problems is Flurry Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm tracking the users of some mobile apps (for both platforms, iOS and Android) for some time now (2+ years), and I'm tracking some general analytics, some custom dashboards I created, but, above all, the function I use the most is the crash reporting system (recollecting / classifying crash reports)

  ### 23. Flurry for analytics

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Timothy S. | Principal Developer Advocate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2016

**What do you like best about Flurry Analytics?**

the user interface and performance of the site is amazing. I love being able to ad advertising from publishers easily.

There is a ton of helps and imagery to guide you through doing anything in the system.

**What do you dislike about Flurry Analytics?**

nothing it's a really solid tool backed by yahoo. Nothing really to complain about. Perhaps in a few months of usage I'll see some crashes or issues but that has not come up yet. I guess you could always hope for a free, open source solution, but those are not always available.

**Recommendations to others considering Flurry Analytics:**

Try it out, it's easy to start and start with working on just one application and go from there.

**What problems is Flurry Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

anlayzing mobile web usage from various clients. This is pretty straight forward but being able to do so for Apple IOS and Android as well makes this a killer system. There are other's but this one is great.

  ### 24. Good Bug Tracker by Yahoo.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2016

**What do you like best about Flurry Analytics?**

I like the real time matematical graphics, you can check it costantly and track the bugs in a few seconds, this is a nice thing for the program developers. The domain is owned by Yahoo so is obviously high quality, there is no lag with the domain.
Yahoo bought this and is going to take it in the right way.

**What do you dislike about Flurry Analytics?**

I don't like the homepage, there are too many other links like yahoo mail etc. The site need to be more easy to use for all users. Flurry analytics need to improve that if he want to have more users.

**Recommendations to others considering Flurry Analytics:**

If you are a programmer and you need to check the mathematical graphics this is the best site you can use.

**What problems is Flurry Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

You can check the mathematical graphics and see in real time the bugs and track it, nice thing that this site have.

  ### 25. Easy to integrate but website could be improved

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2016

**What do you like best about Flurry Analytics?**

It is very easy to integrate this in existing mobile apps. Easy to use API and Documentation was nice and clear to understand. Simliar to Google Analytics in the way that it is setup and installed.

**What do you dislike about Flurry Analytics?**

The website can be slow at times, and is not easy to use. searching your analytics can be frustrating at times due to UX and performance. Google analytics is simpler and clients tend to know how to us it's web interface.

**Recommendations to others considering Flurry Analytics:**

I would use google analytics instead.

**What problems is Flurry Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Logging analytics in mobile apps and presenting the developer with a means to view them. Tracking user interaction within the mobile to track trends and user flow issues.

  ### 26. Disappointed that they retired the data export API

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chang C. | Head of Growth & Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2016

**What do you like best about Flurry Analytics?**

free, easy to set up. I guess it's easy because our engineer used to work there.

**What do you dislike about Flurry Analytics?**

They used to have a data export API that can export all the raw event logs, but they retired that. Now the raw event log exporting is among the top 3 feature requested.

**Recommendations to others considering Flurry Analytics:**

It's free and it can help you track the mobile in-app events.
But you can't export the raw event logs by API, only through the UI with 10000 events per time limit.

**What problems is Flurry Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mobile in-app event tracking. We did tracked the events.

  ### 27. Not so good

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christiano J. | Development Manager, Computer Hardware, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2016

**What do you like best about Flurry Analytics?**

At the time that is used in my applications,
- They have provided one sdk for Adobe AIR
- Ability to track errors
- Ability to record specific events

**What do you dislike about Flurry Analytics?**

The site for the management of events was very poor and slow, I switched to Google Analytics so launched the Mobile SDK

**Recommendations to others considering Flurry Analytics:**

n/a

**What problems is Flurry Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We developed educational applications, and we used the Flurry to see errors and the behavior of users using our applications

  ### 28. Powerful to aggregate custom actions

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2016

**What do you like best about Flurry Analytics?**

Custom actions in any point of your application and send data to server

**What do you dislike about Flurry Analytics?**

exporting data to improve, not powerful for crash reporting as Crashlytics

**Recommendations to others considering Flurry Analytics:**

Try it, it is a little bit better than Fabric beacause you can use custom actions inside your apps

**What problems is Flurry Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

used in various applications

  ### 29. A different but still powerful approach to analytics

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2016

**What do you like best about Flurry Analytics?**

The Android and iOS SDK are very easy to integrate, and it's easy to add logging to an existing app.

**What do you dislike about Flurry Analytics?**

I just don't really get a good user experience from the analytics portal. In Google Analytics, I can sort the data any way I want and see all my activity from any angle. In Flurry I just don't feel like I have that ability. Product managers and others I've worked with don't have this problem, so it's likely this is just a personal preference on my end.

**Recommendations to others considering Flurry Analytics:**

Flurry's great as long as the people who need to read the results can do so easily. For my purposes, I like Google Analytics.

**What problems is Flurry Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Every serious app has to have analytics to tell stakeholders exactly how users are using it. Otherwise when you add features or optimize the UI, you're kinda working in the dark.

  ### 30. Flurry fence

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2016

**What do you like best about Flurry Analytics?**

Retroactive Data pulling on mobile retention/conversion data. I like the simplicity of the system and the ease of navigation.

**What do you dislike about Flurry Analytics?**

The lack of tutorials. There's a lot to do here but very confusing factors like unknown bug fixes and crashes make this program unstable and the user support need a lot of investment.

**Recommendations to others considering Flurry Analytics:**

There are many great features within flurry and it has the potential for being great but at the moment the service support and lack of fixes and continuous bugs needs addressed first.

**What problems is Flurry Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Flurry is great for pulling mobile conversion reports and retroactive retention data. The retroactive benefits are the unique selling point here.

Nothing to say anything as flurry is the basic thing for my iOS app.

Pretty good at tracking data. The funnel feature is great to track user flow from within the app.

**What do you dislike about Flurry Analytics?**

The funnels take a few days to acquire data (it's not live), and are not editable.

**Recommendations to others considering Flurry Analytics:**

Give it a try!
