Top Rated Fluent Forms Alternatives
I've tried a bunch of form builders in the past. Fluent Forms is definitively the easiest one to use, yet it is full of powerful and versatile features. It has a variety of field types and an intuitive drag and drop interface to create your forms. You can set up simple or complex conditional logic and steps. What I like the most is the powerful post-submission actions (email notifications, webhooks, and various 3rd party integrations). Developers are dedicated, proactive and have been continuously improving their product. I use the premium version of Fluent Forms on all my sites, but even the free version is incredible. They have recently added a conversational form feature which is a huge game-changer. I'm really looking forward to being able to embed the forms into external websites. I had the play a few times with the code base and it's really easy to understand and build on top of it. It has hooks and filters everywhere. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The conditional logic can be tricky to set up. The calculation and e-commerce fields are limited. It's sometimes hard to remember where a specific setting is. Sometimes the option is in the global settings, other times the setting is in the form settings or in a tab of the form. They have created a bunch of 3rd party integrations and are actively developing new ones. However, they sometimes took shortcuts with the various API that lead to issues and missing features in the past. The dev team has grown and now fixes the few bugs here and there quickly. Fluent forms became a really solid plugin. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Fluent Form is a very good software in terms of how to build a form with an easy interface and a good drag and drop builder. The settings are most of the times intuitive.
I am grateful for their software however I am not happy regarding their flexibility and ability to help the subscribers who pay quite costly subscriptions. They are not able to provide real solutions to problems and I would not recommend their software for important projects.
I will start to look around for alternatives and this cannot be considered a stable and reliable partner for my web agency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have encountered two very big problems with this software. Number one Fluent Form doesn't allow to upload by default hundreds of file extensions such as .ai or .cdr and many many others. So I opened a ticket and thier support gave me a complex code I have to customise and implement into WordPress. After I have done all that, their code was not working 80% of the extensions I needed. I requested explanations and their support, specifically Nayan Das answered my literally this: "I want to clarify that Fluent Form's file upload field does not automatically accept all types of files from everywhere. By default, it only accepts the most common file extensions.
However, we have already offered guidance on how you can enable additional file types for your file upload field. Also, providing custom code solutions falls outside the scope of our support, but we have gone above and beyond to assist you with this by providing custom snippets."
So I am very much disappointed from WP Manage Ninja support. There have been another instance of bad support when I needed to translate specific fields that were vjard coded into the conversational form and they were not able to help me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

WP fluent form provides extensive possibilities to create any website form without any coding knowledge. We use this software to create signup forms, quote forms, conversational survey forms, and many more.
The software is very easy to work with and there are many prebuilt forms available that can be imported with just a single mouse click and customized. The tool also offers a conditional logic feature that can be used to trigger certain actions.
Nearly any type of form can be built with Wp fluent forms and it can fit almost any industry. There are other functionalities like ReCaptcha, Smtp, and many other security layers that can be added to the forms to ensure safe delivery.
With this tool, you can even create price calculation forms for your websites. It's very rich in features and extremely performant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Although Wp fluent form is lightweight, I don't really enjoy the colorful nature of this tool. It takes me back to the early 80s each time I look at it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use this particular plugin for every single form on our websites. The Wp Fluent form Pro is very nice for creating subscription forms, user feedback forms, quote forms, and more. The pro version supports the logic feature which appears very conversational and realistic. I have been using it for about 2-3 years and feel satisfied with it.
It's user-friendly and straightforward to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think I have discovered one crucial feature currently missing in the plugin and from my perspective, if the developers work hard on improving this feature, Wp Fluent Form will be outstanding.
While using the conversational form, I discovered that the "message" feature is missing. Creating a conversational survey could be more better and authentic if the message option was there. I get stocked with the logic option and at a point, the whole conversation doesn't make sense anymore.
I mean, I've used other alternatives like Survey sparrow and I know what the "message feature" in a conversation survey can do. Maybe I haven't paid close attention to this very well, but, I couldn't find it even in the Pro version of Wp Fluent form. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like most about the WP Fluent Forms plugin is that it allows you to customize each form quite a bit. You can give it custom styles and create conditional forms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like least is the layout designer, but this does not mean it is not good. It is even better than other form layout designers from other plugins. But I think it can be improved. Especially to give it more personalized styles without using CSS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

All the features in one package, if you want a feature in a form plugin, you will probably find it in this plugin most of the time. Love the fact that it is free to get started. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much to dislike here, lifetime plan could be priced more competitively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ease of use of Wp Fluent Form (free version) is at par with some premium plugins. I've realised this could probably be the best beginner-friendly form builder plugin for WordPress out there along with WPForms. I usually use it with their SMTP solution Fluent SMTP which is equally great. They offer more in their free version than any basic website (or even some advanced ones) would ever need. Pre-made templates are offered within a free version. That's insane! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing major that I can think of at the moment. It would be great though if they had a standalone version for their pro plugin. Currently, they also want us to keep the basic plugin activated when we activate pro. That's not the ideal way I believe. Lesser the plugins that we have to keep active on the backend, the better. Fluent Forms is very user-friendly. I appreciate that I can largely build my forms using its easy-to-use drag-n-drop editor. I also like how it enables you to easily customize different aspects of the form (i.e. the color of the submit button). It's also very feature-rich, which is helpful when building more complicated forms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Fluent Forms does not have as many direct integrations with other software providers as other forms. They offer webhooks and Zapier to help with integrations, but I prefer direct integrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
