"Best and powerful Release Management tool for Salesforce!"
5/5
What do you like best about Flosum?

Flosum has many strong points to consider it as a best release management tool designed specifically for Salesforce.

Best feature is that, Flosum supports Lightning components which all organizations have migrated already into.

It is easy to use and does not require any coding to work on and is completely built on Force.com platform. This does not require teams to be trained as anyone with knowledge on Salesforce can use it.

Use of snapshots to track the changes done on metadata.

The code comparison between orgs is meticulous and save a lot of time for developers. This helps orgs to be in sync with each other from all the modification done. Merging branches is effortless as well.

Impact analysis in deployment prevents code overrides in Target org, reducing post-deployment issues to some extent.

There is facility to integrate with Jira, ServiceNow etc for code review purpose. It can also integrate with Git-based version control systems.

Since, it is developed on Force.com platform, no information is moved outside of platform, providing 100% security to the organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Flosum?

For now, I did not notice any issues. This is a great tool for release activities, saving lot of times for developers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Amazing Version Control Management tool"
5/5
What do you like best about Flosum?

=> At the heart of every DevOps solution is the Version Control System, which works to maintain a central source of truth for all code versions. However, in Salesforce, each sandbox is a complete codebase of all the various artifacts including metadata, programmatic code, settings, etc. Flosum is good for that and it is very to install and deploy.

=> Flosum offers bi-directional, real-time synchronization between any branch in Flosum to any other Salesforce org, which ensures code-overwrites will never happen.

=> It provides Out of the box Static code analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Flosum?

Nothing. You people are making it up to date and it hardly encurs any issues Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Awesome app-exchange tool Salesforce Deployment-Just go for it"
5/5
What do you like best about Flosum?

In my previous project, I use Bit Bucket for deployment and the time taken for deployment is more than development I swear. Some of the best feature of Flowsum as-

1. You don't need to move from Jira to bitbucket and Bitbucket to the source tree and then beyond compare and again for quality check some other app everything you got at one tool.

2. This is a salesforce app exchange tool specially made for salesforce code deployment as most of the salesforce developers feel the friendly environment.

3. The configuration deployment and tracking of deployment become easy

4. It automates the deployment, you just need to select provide the order environment.

5. You can easily integrate it with Jira for user story tracking

6. Easily check the conflict of other developers

7. For comparing code no need to go for other comparing tool you find it at one-stop

8. Merging and approval process are at one flow and you can easily revert it back Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Flosum?

Nothing as such. I have not found any features which I can say, I don’t like. Flosum is awesome!

Maybe they work on more features on code quality checks Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flosum for Force.com"
5/5
What do you like best about Flosum?

Every Developer challenging includes Collaboration while worked on a Shared resource like Salesforce. Flosum helps improving Salesforce efficiency with respect to code changes proactively and efficiently. Comparatively Flosum suits best for Force.com for its integration capabilities.

1.When deployment is failed developer must start it from the scratch, and the amount of time it takes to perform the whole deployment is worthless. Flosum helps to integrate entire data and also allows selecting fields, records and objects which needs to be migrated.

2.In case of any changes made by a developer to be rolled back with the help of other version control systems requires identifying the line of code and removing recent changesline by line . Flosum maintain different files to compare old and new set of changes so Developer can decide to perform further changes on either of the files

3. Salesfoce inbuilt application Lightning is famous for its User Interface. Similarly Flosum has pleasurable User Interface which makes it very handy and fast to approach. Along with UI and Integration flosum support any type of salesforce component to be integrated. So its 100% efficient to move further Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Flosum?

As of now I have not noticed any serious draw backs Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flosum solves the pain points of Salesforce Professionals"
5/5
What do you like best about Flosum?

There are many benefits of Flosum,

1. Developers spends lots of time in merge and deployment, this tool makes the work easy and allows developer to concentrate on their functional coding pieces.

2. Two way sync and taking care code overwriting issue is great feature.

3. Native Version Control System reduce the overhead for developer during merge process.

4. Since builtin into Salesforce, it makes life easy and very much secured.

5. In order to prepare for deployment, usually myself and my team spending lots of time in preparing package.xml and then create a build, then deploy to respective environments and deployment failed. Add the missing components, retry again and this goes on for 1-2 days that's pain we're facing. But this tool provide all the details on what's changes since the last snapshot pack that and more to PROD, which is going to save lots of time.

6. Integration with Github is very good feature.

7. Installation is very simple like use it once the go.

8. Giving impact analysis feature is great one to have, so that developer know exactly what are the impacts of the changes they do.

9. Dashboard with charts on number of each components is added advantage, shows how well we're using each Salesforce components. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Flosum?

Nothing for now, it's great tool and saves lots of developer efforts for sure. It's not like much to have, but nice to have maybe user interface on standard Salesforce lighting page can be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
