## Flosum Reviews
  ### 1. Complete Tool for DevOps and Backup in Salesforce

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matheus P.

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

I appreciate Flosum for its incredibly comprehensive DevOps solution which, unlike Salesforce's DevOps Center, offers functionalities such as rollback, code versioning, and code quality analysis, which we greatly missed before. The ability to view the change history is especially useful for development control and security. Additionally, the integrated backup solution is a valuable feature, providing an additional layer of security for our data in Salesforce. The initial transition was very smooth, evidenced by the quick integration of our teams, which reinforces the platform's efficiency and usability. This comprehensive set of features was decisive in our migration from other solutions, and I did not hesitate to recommend it to other colleagues, given the positive impact it has had on our operations.

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

I believe that the DevOps solution should have greater segmentation of access and security, with the possibility of segmenting access to pipelines or other resources within the branch. In the backup solution, it would be interesting to have the possibility to transfer data between orgs, such as removing data from org A and transferring it to B.

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Flosum as a DevOps and backup solution for Salesforce, solving issues like rollback, code versioning, and quality analysis, which were absent in Salesforce's DevOps Center.

  ### 2. Effortless Salesforce DevOps—Simple, Secure, and Fully Native

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Swati A. | Manager Enterprise Application Engineering, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

Flosum makes Salesforce DevOps simple, secure, and native. I love that I can manage releases, track changes, and ensure compliance — all without leaving Salesforce. Very easy to use. We have been using it for our DevOps

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

There’s a slight learning curve and a few areas where the user experience could be more intuitive, but once you’re familiar with it, the platform works very well.

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Flosum has helped us streamline our entire Salesforce release management process. It eliminates manual deployment errors, provides complete version control, and ensures auditability for all changes. Because it’s 100% native to Salesforce, we no longer worry about data security or compliance issues. The ability to manage multiple environments, automate deployments, and maintain governance in one place has significantly improved our development speed and reduced release downtime.

  ### 3. Development

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

What I like best about Flosum is its simplicity and Salesforce-native approach. It makes release management, version control, and deployments much easier without needing complex third-party integrations. The user-friendly interface, automated workflows, and strong security features save a lot of time and reduce deployment errors. I also appreciate the excellent customer support, which is always responsive and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

While Flosum is very effective overall, the initial setup and configuration can feel a bit complex for new users. The UI could also be more modern and intuitive in certain areas. Additionally, since it is Salesforce-native, it sometimes feels limiting when compared to tools that integrate with multiple platforms. However, once the learning curve is managed, the experience becomes much smoother.

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Flosum helps streamline the entire release management process within Salesforce. It reduces deployment errors, ensures version control, and improves collaboration across teams. The automation features save time, while the SaaS backup functionality provides extra security for business-critical data. Overall, it improves productivity and helps deliver projects faster with fewer risks.

  ### 4. Superior Release Management, but Unit Test Requirement Still Frustrates

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

In my experience, this is simply a superior release manager when compared to Salesforce’s built-in deployment manager.

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

When deploying non-apex components to Production, I still find that unit tests are required. It's possible that I'm missing an option or perhaps not using the process correctly. To get around this requirement, I usually include an apex test file with my deployment, even if it's not actually necessary.

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deploying with this tool is much simpler than working with Salesforce’s change sets. It really streamlines the process and makes everything easier.

  ### 5. Smooth Workflow with Merge Feature, but Frustrating Errors and Flexipage Merging

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

The ability to merge into the release branch ensures that changes made to the same components by different team members do not overlap. This helps maintain a smooth workflow and prevents conflicts during development.

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

When unclear errors occurs. Also, it becomes challenging to merge flow and flexipages.

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Maintaining a repository with version control is valuable because it allows for effective tracking of changes and history.

  ### 6. Extremely useful for salesforce developers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jaideep S. | ITDP Intern - Technical Product Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

Flosum is a fantastic tool for developers, offering a seamless, all-in-one solution. It makes deploying projects a breeze, and the community support is truly amazing.

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

Setting things up initially could be quicker. However, after the configuration team assisted with the setup, it became very user-friendly.

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Flosum is an excellent tool for developers, featuring a built-in Salesforce framework that simplifies selective component deployment. The comprehensive documentation and training materials make it easy for developers to learn and use, while the intuitive interface enhances the user experience. Additionally, Flosum seamlessly integrates with various applications like Jira and Git, making it a highly versatile and valuable resource for development teams.

  ### 7. flosum review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** BalavardhanReddy V. | Salesforce Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

Flosum is a good to use Salesforce DevOps platform made to tackle the particular difficulties of Salesforce platform development. From development to deployment and beyond, it offers a comprehensive solution for the full application lifecycle.

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

Flosum might not be the best option if you require a DevOps tool that can handle deployments across several platforms

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had different people making changes in different places, and when it was time to deploy to production, it was a stressful, manual process.

  ### 8. Great Support and Training, but Updates Can Be Inconvenient

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

It is always being updated to stay current with Salesforce updates through the year. They have staff dedicated to making sure you are using the product well and to the max. There is plenty of online training available from them.

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

Updates require resetting settings each time. Staff keep reminding us to buy more products.

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping all the code current in all environments. Able to manage code updates, making it easy to migrate changes into different sandboxes.

  ### 9. Complete Salesforce Release Management - within Salesforce!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Frank Yukio N. | Senior Manager CRM, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

Flosum offers the unique possibility of combining a full-blown release management suite with the flexibility of Salesforce itself.
The tool is easy to use for starters in the Salesforce ecosystem, but also established experts can find all the features they need to fine-tune complex release landscapes and respective processes.
Big plus: New features are released regularly and you can feel that the Flosum team really listens to the feedback of their customers when designing their product roadmap.

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

The main downside comes not from Flosum itself, but from the architectural fact that it is in the end hosted on Salesforce platform itself, meaning that it also needs to adher all Salesforce platform limits, sometimes causing performance issues. However, solutions to these bottlenecks are already being developed afaik.

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Very heterogeneous level of knowledge across the team.
Complex, multi-org architecture and release landscape.
Faster, but also more reliable and scalable deployment processes.

  ### 10. How Flosum became a chosen one for our project

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Upasana M. | Business Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

When we started using DevOps for our deployment, we were a bit confused with which tool to go ahead with as there were a number of tools available which promised to solve our needs. There were Copado, CircleCI, Gearset, Autorabit etc all of which were promising to solve our needs.

To plan our deployment strategy we delved into the details based on:
1. ROI
2. Time required to develop the most requested feature.
3. Price to quality ratio

In all of these parameters, we found Flosum standing par from all of its competitions. If I am to speak about the features which hammered my trust with the tool are the Environment Variables which reduces the post deployment time significantly, Partial branch deployment which means you can select which components from the branch you can deploy leaving behind the rest without any issues.
Ofcourse the factor of being 100% native to Salesforce is absolutely a feather in the cap.

Honestly, this is the best tool I have used so far. Thank you so much Flosum team.

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

As of now nothing, I have used flosum for more than three projects and no problems I can think of.

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being a native Salesforce tool it has a lot of positiveness which makes ita favourable tool for Deployment

  ### 11. Efficient, Enjoyable Change Management with Flosum

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Himanshu S. | IT Analyst (DevOps support Engineer), Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

Flosum seamlessly integrates within Salesforce, eliminating the need for external version control systems like GitHub. Its user-friendly, native Salesforce design ensures a smooth learning experience. The platform is highly adaptable, accommodating diverse change management workflows. The support team is both approachable and quick to assist, enhancing the overall experience. Flosum continually rolls out new features, keeping the tool up-to-date and relevant. It also excels in reporting, providing clear insights into deployment metrics, and code coverage, which is invaluable for management.

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

We currently utilize it for our change management needs and have not encountered any issues so far.

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Flosum streamlines our development workflow by eliminating the complexities of using change sets and other non-native DevOps tools. This allows our team to concentrate on core development tasks rather than getting bogged down by cumbersome deployment processes. By providing a native Salesforce solution, Flosum significantly enhances our productivity, accelerates our delivery timelines, and simplifies our release management. The platform’s seamless integration and intuitive design have also minimized errors and reduced deployment time, ultimately leading to more efficient and effective project execution.

  ### 12. Quick and easy onboarding even for our junior developers.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joakim R. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

So easy and intuitive to work with. As a project manager not working directly with Salesforce development, it is easy for me and management to see deployment status for the various environments. The different dashboards allows me to quickly get an overview without having to disturb the developers. Also that is it Salesforce native so it looks like you are working in Salesforce.

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

No integration to Clayton code scan. This would enable a single view within Flosum, instead of having to go to Clayton and open up the dashboards in there. It would be easier for the developers to quicly see if their code contained any issues.

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping our environments in sync enables us to ensure that whatever we have in production easily can be "backported" to lower environments. Improve code quality and code coverage already in the lowest environment, rather than finding out in pre-production at a very late stage.

  ### 13. Truly a Great Tool to Speed up development

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stefania O. | Salesforce Professional, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

1) knowing that Salesforce's force.com platform is really different from other development platforms, because we have declarative aspects made on our development sandboxes than we later need to deploy into production. Flowsum can provide a truly natural envioment to achive this deployments no matter if its a developer or an admin.

I have to say that this is really a great product, helping to keep our orgs to be in sync with each other when it comes to modifications. Merging branches is also a pleasure and also has great support. I have really enjoyed what I have seen so far about Flosum. Also before I forget, I really like the dashboards to spin up new sites and all the available documentation is also something important to comment because there are many tools that doesnt provide this high quality docummentation. We can tell that this product has been develop really thinking in adding value to every role around it.

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

not much to dislike. But I'll let you know if I find any.

**Recommendations to others considering Flosum:**

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Valentijn S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

Before Flosum we were using change sets. As many of us know, this could (was) a real pain as it often is a repetititve, error prone and time consuming process.

Now that we are using Flosum, our release frequency went up exponentially and time spent on doing releases decreased significantly. The tool has it's own unique vision on how to do release management, but the approach is straightforward and the success portal (as well as the Flosum team itself) is also always there with extensive documentation in case help is needed.

Overall, Flosum allows us focus on developing, rather than losing time on deploying.

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

However there is a not-so-steep learning curve, there nevertheless are some concepts that you need to understand in order to be successful with Flosum. nevertheless, I don't see this as a negative, but rather as a prerequisite.

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Flosum enables us to focus on what matters: development. It takes the burden of using change sets (and other, non-native DevOps solutions) out of our hands and increases our productivity and delivery process significantly.

  ### 26. Top Notch Deployment tool

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

Flosum is a really cool deployment tool , it saves lot of time for the Salesforce developers , it's an All in one solution, we can integrate flosum with jira or Azuredevops which even will help a lot for tracking a requirement ,the features like code reviews , impact analysis and resolving merge conflicts automatically are really important and time saving.

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

Nothing as such , it really made my life easy , I recommend this tool , even the course for certification is great and can be navigated easily

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously we used change sets for deployment ,
Which would require lot of manual effort and have lot of disadvantages . Now after we switched to flosum relatively the time we are taking for a major release is less and the quality of our solutions increased and it provides version control which is much needed and which we dont have in change sets

  ### 28. Must try tool for Salesforce DevOps

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sanyam Y. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

As a Salesforce DevOps working in the IT Industry, I have worked with quite a few Salesforce Deployment tools. After recommendation from my colleague, I Flosum and Instantly fell in love with it. It works on Salesforce platform so you don't have to learn the UI or install anything in your local system. We can create, edit, delete and merge branches from a single location. Can create pull requests and also resolve merge conflicts without opening any other window. We can also setup our deployment pipelines easily. It is a one stop solution to all the Salesforce DevOps Pain points. I will definitely recommend others to use it.

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

In terms of functionality, there's nothing not to like. A good part of our problems was fixed with the implementation of Flosum. The only thing that I would say is that the pricing is a bit on the higher side, also need to buy the license for the data migration tool.

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Creating, Deleting and merging branches in a single place.
- Deployment to multiple orgs at the same time
- User friendly UI as it is based on Salesforce which most of us already have used.
- Solving merge conflicts easily

  ### 34. Flosum makes code management and deployments a breeze

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dave C. | Technology Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

Flosum is very intuitive and easy to use. I has a great static code analysis feature, and it also provides an efficient way for developers to do code reviews.

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

Flosum could make some minor improvements to the way it handles destructive changes. It would be nice if it ignored destructive changes for components that have already been deleted, but it instead throws an error. This means that a branch that includes destructive changes can be deployed only one time to any org.

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Source code management and version control. Deployments, Static Code Analysis, and Code Reviews. We use Flosum on a daily basis and it has been a great help to our development team.

  ### 35. Great Native deployment tool for Salesforce

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** amarapini a. | Application Development Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

Nothing much with regards to the functionality and built , but may be pricing can be changed. They can add data migration tool in licensing itself instead of Data Loader pro which we need to acquire separately.

**Recommendations to others considering Flosum:**

Enjoy using the much resolved solution which makes your deployment easier.

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Salesforce metadata deployment. Easy for profile deployments with Get profile translation button. Great for selective deployments.Automated merge editor. Impact analysis, View dependencies. Great options to consider

  ### 37. One stop solution for all your Salesforce release & deployment needs.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Murlidhar K. | Technology Delivery Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

Flosum is great native deployment tool with excellent Customer Support. It has got most simple and intuitive user interface which enables quick onboarding and shortens learning curve ultimately resulting in quick implementation.
It is very first to have it’s own native version control feature which is quite advanced. You still have flexibility to integrate with other version control tools out there in market.

Data migration with Flosum is 100% native and secure. You don’t need to use third party solutions or work with your info-sec to review and approve third party solutions. Since it is built on Salesforce, it doesn’t involve opening up access or modifying firewall rules.Flosum can integrate with pretty much any other tool, application, or system in the Salesforce ecosystem.

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

It depends on the scope and complexity of the project. Can't think of any drawbacks for simple small/mid-size implementation. Just minor challenges which are can be resolved by working with support team.

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Salesforce release and deployment management

  ### 38. The tool offers alot but delivers on little.

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael L. | Salesforce Solution Architect

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

There are several features that other solutions do not offer that would be very useful if they worked

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

That the solution is far worse in reality than what they promise. There are bugs and issues everywhere in the solution.

I would suggest the Flosum team to really improve their testing process, their user experience, and their support as they just refer all issues to "this is working as expected". If that is the case, then no one should use this tool. If they at least agreed that the issues is issues and they will take care of it as soon as possible, it would be a different story.

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making deployments simpler for orgs with several admins and developers building functionality simultanously.

  ### 39. Review of Flosum as a meta data and data migration application

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Troy M. | Senior Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

Flosum allows you to identify changes in a Salesforce by the individual, component type, component name and the results can be filtered by time range from all time to changes made within the last few hours.

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

There are some objects that cannot be migrated with Flosum, but most of those limitations are not due to the limitations of Flosum.

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are migrating changes from lower-level environments to other non-production environments to support testing. The changes are then bundled into releases to prepare for the production go-live. The bundles are deployed to the UAT and Training environments to practice the deployment to production during the go-live. We are also migrating data used to configure the application that is not deemed as meta-data. Flosum handles all of the relationships between objects so there is no complex activities required to move the data and to keep the data in synch across the environments.

  ### 40. Game-changer for any Salesforce team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael D. | Sr Salesforce Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

Native Salesforce UI makes learning and adopting Flosum very easy. Powerful change management and DevOps functionality are second to none.

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

Honestly there isn't a list of things I dislike, even after using Flosum for 5+ years I can't think of anything about this product I dislike.

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A rock-solid Agile LIfecycle Management solution that everyone on our team (admins, BAs, developers) can use quickly and effectively to manage version control, access control (no more phantom changeset deployments to restricted testing sandboxes or Prod!), continuous integration, impact analysis prior to deployment, full rollback control, and release management between all our orgs. We have seen a MASSIVE decrease in bugs and lifecycle velocity as a result. What takes 6+ hrs/week with Git now happens in minutes or happens automatically for us. If you're still using Bitbucket / Git / Pipelines to manage your Salesforce environments, you are throwing away money, get a trial of Flosum going ASAP.

  ### 41. Flosum Vs Change Sets - WWP

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patricia d. | Salesforce Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2021

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

I like how easy it is to identify errors and to easily remove a component so that it doesn't continue to cause issues. It is also great to have a repository. When they identify a conflict between multiple branches, it makes it wasy for my team to make adjustments before deploying.

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

I wish there was a document that actually provided the different examples for each component. For example, I didn't know that the Lightning Record Page was considered a Flexipage component. Basically, it would be nice to know what each component type was used for.

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Flosum provides the ability to add Lightning Record pages as a component. This was always a hurdle of ours since we had more than 50 record pages we needed to update in both sandbox and prod. Visibility of everyone's Branches (change sets)

  ### 42. Hands Down, the best product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shubham P. | Associate Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

This is hands down the best salesforce deployment tool I have ever used. Great in all aspects. User-friendly interface. Easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

So far so good. I have not disliked anything about flosum yet.

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have tried Salesforce Deployment using Flosum. This is a great product. Very User friendly.

  ### 43. The Best Release Management Tool With Excellent Customer Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Faizan A. | Contractor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

Flosum is backed up by an amazing team that is constantly striving to improve the solution. They listen to your feedback and try to implement new features that support you. The native version control works seamlessly and does not require any third-party applications. You can customize the software to suit your needs and make deployments easy to manage. The most amazing feature is the code merging/conflict resolution feature that allows you to seamlessly fix changes natively without having to go back into the code. It's a fantastic tool for any organization and I believe that Flosum will do amazing! Also, they have outstanding customer support with weekly/monthly calls to keep you in check & help you streamline your release process! I highly recommend Flosum.

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

Visual studio integration can be improved. I have noticed with some of the developers working on visual studio have had problems such as not being able to perform impact analysis when components have been pushed to a branch.

**Recommendations to others considering Flosum:**

You do not want to miss out! Your deployments will be seamless and you never have to worry about your data being exposed. It is completely secure.

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The merging/conflict detection capability has helped tremendously in order prevent code/work from being overwritten. A new feature that I have recently started to implement is the pull request functionality that has further added an extra layer of security to prevent data from being lost. The user has the ability to comment & review code before it has been pushed.

We all wished we had more time right? Well not to worry, the pipeline functionality has given me that freedom! I am able to create logic that allows my deployments to run seamlessly. On top of that, I am able to schedule the deployments that allow me to manage my time effectively.

  ### 44. Deployment Heaven

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason H. | Salesforce Administrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2021

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

Having gone from working with standard Salesforce change sets, to other CI tools, Flosum was a breath of fresh air. I didn't realize just how much better of an experience there could be with both moving changes between orgs and syncing up environments. What has been incredible, has been seeing how many new "quality of life" functionality changes have been added in the year since we've started using the tool. The road map of what to come just points to how much better things will get.

Another positive is not having to integrate with a GIT repo. The Flosum repo has been a life saver for our team and has streamlined commits and pipeline syncs to other sandboxes. I highly recommend Flosum!

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

I haven't found anything to complain about. The support we receive from the Flosum team to the tool itself has been awesome.

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing deployments and syncs with numerous sandbox environments (4 full sandboxes and 20+ developer environments).

  ### 45. Salesfrorce DevOps Tools Aren't Always Flawless

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

I like that Flosum built in Salesforce. The interface is familiar. I think this helps with the learning curve.

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

The good and the bad is that Flosum runs from a different Org. You don't need to install anything in your Org to get up and running. However, snapshots are required to keep the Flosum org up to date with your Salesforce Org. Other packages evaluated have similar challenges keeping development changes synched to the DevOps platform. It's kind of a necessary and time consuming evil. There are some automated actions to help improve this challenge.

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a large team of declaritive developers. Their work along with contracted workers and in house Apex development gets tricky keeping alignment. Flosum help with merging work streams. Use of the tool has decreased our deployment cycles. We deployed bi-weekly prior to Flosum. We continue with this cadence but with less time and effort but higher accuracy.

One of the challenges of any DevOps tool is the limitations posed by Salesforce at the API level. Our hope was to never touch production as part of a deployment. Touching production at times is still necessary because of Salesforce limitations.

  ### 48. Flosum is Good

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Program Development | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

Just one word comes from my mouth for Flosum :- Awesome. Flosum really helped me in my career as I got promoted due to certification i did from Flosum. Also i further referred Flosum to 8 of my friends who also did certification from Flosum and they all were very happy about the same.

Some points which i like at Flosum :- 1. Easy and user friendly UI. Easy to install.
2. Flosum dashboard is very good as compared to others.
3. Test coverage can be checked all together instead of doing it one by one for different classes.
4. Full integration with Git, SVN, Jira etc.
5. Asks for various permission due to which the security is very good.

Coming to webinar, it was very informative and good. It rally helped me to gain deep knowledge for Flosum.

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

Not encountered anything i dont like till now.

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Salesforce Related

  ### 49. Smooth integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2021

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

The ability to deploy Field-Level Security by including profiles, and to use 1 Branch to deploy to countless orgs (no more rebuilding change sets in every lower org).

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

Can't map external ID with Dataplier. When migrating data from one org to another, I can't select how to map Field A to Field B, the schema has to be exactly the same between orgs. Wish the data migrator had a tool to map fields, like Salesforce Dataloader can do.

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Faster deployments, more reliable (fewer human touches, so less likely to make mistakes), and easy to contain all deployments in one org (this helps auditing and troubleshooting tremendously). We save time with deployments, so we can spend more resources on development.

  ### 50. Flosum is the best Salesforce based Application Lifecycle Management solution in the market

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rohan S. | Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2021

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

1. Flosum integrates seamlessly with the whole Salesforce ecosystem as well as with release management tools like Jira and Bitbucket.

2. The whole team of Flosum is amazing. They respond quickly to whatever doubts my team have with a well thought solution.

3. It's super easy to use, the UI is also simple that accelerates the process.

4. The dashboard is very much helpful that gives a clear picture of the usage.

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

Nothing as of now. The Flosum team is quick to address any concerns that we have with the tool and always make it better.
It's a great tool.

**Recommendations to others considering Flosum:**

Get in touch with the Flosum team and you can also have a demo that will answer all your doubts. All the best!

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Earlier I and my team used to work with Eclipse, Ant, Eclipse, Beyond Compare, Jira, Bitbucket to commit, deploy, compare and keep track of the changes then we shifted to VS Code. But all these requires lots of unnecessary integrations.
Flosum is a complete package and works like a charm to commit and deploy the changes and maintain the whole lifecycle.
