From setting up the system to actually using it was the easiest integration EVER (done by them)! Once on the system, its really simple to set up and start saving days on the Month End Close. From Checklists, Recons, FLUX, this is your one stop shop for everything you need for a speedy close. The cherry on the top has to be the great customer service reps, that are top notch! Email them if there is a bug... and its fixed. Really a joy working with them and I have used the system for almost 2 years. The constantly make updates (new features), which shows they care about what they put out there. **What do you dislike about FloQast?** I think the only downside is managing Tax compliance, as Tax filings have reports, so would be great to have 3 dates for this (Deadline to complete report, Deadline to review, Deadline to File). It was difficult to maintain and lacked a clean timeline view of when items were occurring throughout the close. Amounts were being reconciled manually from Excel to our ERP (Netsuite) and it took a lot of additional time from the team to show that this was occurring appropriately. Once we implemented FloQast, all of these problems went away! We have great visibility into when tasks and reconciliations are occurring, who is doing them, and where the bottlenecks are. The ability for FloQast to systematically ensure that the Excel reconciliations agree to our ERP and remain in balance has been a game changer for reviewers. I would recommend FloQast to anyone who is looking to streamline and optimize their close process! **What do you dislike about FloQast?** A feature should be added to set reconciliation signoff thresholds at the currency level (for all currencies you are using). Right now the system only allows 1 blanket amount and this is problematic if the intention is to set an USD equivalent threshold across all currencies, and certain Fx rates vary drastically from the USD (e.g. COP). I realize you can use the reconciliation upload template to set thresholds at the account level, this is burdensome though, and it would be better if you could enter a threshold amount on the backend within the admin settings in the tool. **What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?** FloQast is allowing us to have better visibility into our close process and identify bottlenecks. ### 21. Seeing what is done, needs to still be done at any given time, and knowing if the spreadsheets or accounts are reconciled to the trial balance saves a great deal of time for both the reviewer and those completing the tasks. FloQast is like a big to do checklist, but with more options! **What do you dislike about FloQast?** It can be time-consuming to setup new accounts/recs, especially in instances where a large number of new locations or accounts are added (think M&A). It would be nice if it could connect to the ERP system so manual trial balances wouldn't have to be constantly uploaded. The tagging system is innovative, but also can be super frustrating when there are reconciling items. While there is an option to include reconciling items, if they are not all in the same spreadsheet, and FloQast sees the reconciling item tag before the normal account tag, it can't handle that. While there are workarounds, thought has to be made when making correcting or adjusting entries and the FloQast tab **What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?** Knowing what is left to be worked on during the close period, and having a quick analysis, that accounts are reconciled (and stay reconciled). While there is potential benefits with the auto-rec matching, the core benefits come from the checklists and reconciliations ### 35. At least I'm confident the balance sheet reconciles every month. Floqast Remind was very useful as well. Not only do we record all of our reconciliations and GL close data in it, but I have my weekly to-do items as well so each week I can go in and see what I need to focus on. The dashboard that shows where you are in relation to deadlines (ie percentage of work done so far) is also incredibly helpful because it offers a screenshot that is very easy to read. It was simple to integrate and add new clients, and so far their customer support has been fantastic. I joined my firm when FQ was just being implemented and it was very easy to learn how to use it and get it set up for all of our clients. I use it every day and genuinely would have a difficult time without it. **What do you dislike about FloQast?** I haven't experienced any issues with Floqast yet - which is a good sign! **What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?** Floqast allows us to track close tasks and complete month-end close within our deadlines. They send a weekly to-do list for each client which is very helpful as I can get a screenshot of everything I need focus on that week. It takes very little time to be up and running on the software and because it's easily customizable to your needs, you fine tune it as you go. One of the biggest benefits is knowing that things are tied-out and reconciled and that you have a central location for all of your close management, audit, reporting, etc. **What do you dislike about FloQast?** I think the biggest challenge for FloQast is getting to know the terminology that is used. There are both reconciliation items and checklist items and then multiple entities and workflows. It can get a bit confusing as to what you are trying to do when you work for one company but need multiple entities if you want to track items outside the close related to operations. **What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?** One of the biggest issues that we faced prior to implementing FloQast was no knowing where everything was. It was a constant struggle to find the support for each item and make sure you had the latest version. FloQast makes it very easy to bring all that into one repository and then roll that from one month to the next. ### 49.
