The app has everything you really need for effective communication within an organisation. I haven't used a lot of apps like this in the past, so I don't have any points of reference, but Flock nails the basics. Apart from the usual chat/audio call/video conferencing features, there are also a couple of very handy features. You can set statuses for yourself to show when you're on break/leave, and there's also a 'Praise' feature you can use to publicly praise or thank a colleague for a job well done. The UI definitely needs some work. Flock is generally easy to use, but it looks extremely outdated and drab. I'd have a better experience using it if it was more colourful or had a better dark mode. Also, there is a major delay in receiving chat notifications for the mobile app (2-5 mins for me), so I have no choice but to keep the desktop app open during all my working hours.
