I know how complex a relational database can be, but it would go a long way towards streamlining some of the needs that we have re: data. **What problems is Fliplet solving and how is that benefiting you?** We've been able to use Fliplet for workplace check-in, and that allows folks to schedule their office time, know who is in the office that day, and who is scheduled to be in the office. We've also created an innovation app which helped to kick-start ideas of all kinds across the firm. This app was used by Fliplet as a case study. We created an app for folks to nominate colleagues for "Mentoring" awards, and just successfully launched a single-event app that was used to support our all-attorney retreat. This app was universally received and our managing partner commented that it was the best meeting/event app he ever used. ### 2. The Fliplet platform is easy to use but when any challenges arise the team are aways happy to help but in a way that will encourage understanding of how to solve the problem if it ever arises in the future. **What do you dislike about Fliplet?** Sometimes the system can be a little slow, however this could be because of my own system rather than the Fliplet platform itself. Our apps are very outdated, but they have not been touched since it was built. Their product is genuinely no code unlike some others, but it does have an option for coding if you require this. The vast array of features that are drag and drop mean you aren't required to have a coding background to build an app - this makes life so much easier, and the turnaround time to build an app is dramatically increased. From my perspective, the Dev team can expand on the intial framework I've built, meaning they have more time to focus on the complex coding for specific requirements - it's also a good starting platform to understand code and how it can work in the real world when making cool apps. Fliplet can be used by both novices and expert coders - making it the perfect all rounder when building apps in ranging complexities. **What do you dislike about Fliplet?** Fliplet are great at trying to inject additional components and features regularly, usually any dislikes we have (or additional requests) are discussed thoroughly and where possible, they'll try to make them happen. **Recommendations to others considering Fliplet:** I would strongly recommend if you need to build apps, and want the flexibility to give everyone the chance to build them (both novice users and people who know code) - this is a great platform to cater for all! During the trial phase Fliplet were really hands on, their customer support both during trials and now in real life use is excellent. **What problems is Fliplet solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest problem we encountered - building and distributing apps quickly and efficiently due to capacity of the team. With Fliplet, this is now achieved as it isn't only the Dev Team using this platform. As BA's - we now have the flexibility to turn business idea's into a framework with solid features - this looks like we're turning around apps rapidly and with Dev help, adding any complex code. Personally, I've managed to build a few apps with minimum code, and the code itself is simple enough for a Dev guy to explain and then reuse in other apps where applicable. Not only is the platform giving me the flexibility to build cool apps, it's also giving me the opportunity to liaise with the Dev team a lot more and I'm picking up basic coding lessons and applying them to future projects. It's a win win really - to the business we're delivering rapidly, and internally within the team we're taking the pressure off the Dev team by learning some coding basics and progressing our own coding knowledge. ### 18. A very small nitpick admittedly!! **What problems is Fliplet solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have been slow to deliver client apps, because we have remained determined to only build apps that provide a distinctive and interactive experience for customers - more than just throwing a load of static content into a sea of menus and screens (which, candidly, a lot of competitors have done!). For a law firm that enables the marketing team to respond to multiple requests without having to spend huge sums on individual, generic apps that don't really cut through. In addition, it avoids having to pay for updates every time an operating system is updated, cutting ongoing, unplanned costs. One other great thing about the way the platform works is that, in most cases, functionality developed by one user is shared by the others. Given that there are a number of other law firms using the system, it means there are more and more options. **What do you dislike about Fliplet?** Some of the functionality is a little limited - you don't get the flexibility of a bespoke development - but the benefits far outweigh this downside and the functionality is improving all the time. **Recommendations to others considering Fliplet:** If you want to create a suite of apps - which is something law firms have to do - Fliplet is a great solution and its 'open source' approach means it is improving all the time. Definitely worth considering. **What problems is Fliplet solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have a flat structure with lots of different areas of the firm wanting to develop apps, but we have limited resource and we want to devolve content entry to lawyers and non-technical marketing staff. Developing bespoke apps for each area would prohibitively expensive and would saddle the firm with one-going costs for updates following operating system upgrades. In addition, we want to launch apps as 'minimal viable products', but the costs of development are too great if we don't use a template solution like Fliplet. ### 26. We even converted our old PDFs into apps (much better looking and easier to use!) - Quick and easy to implement - No limit in terms of how many apps you can create - Super simple interface, easy enough to use at all levels of the organisation - Brilliant customer service, they have someone available on live chat at all times and they can train people, answer questions and submit tickets and requests very quickly. - Beautiful apps with minimal effort, even if the person building the app is not very tech savvy - Secure (IT is happy with the solution and can distribute internal apps via our existing mobility solution provider) - No app maintenance required, this was brilliant as our old apps were getting hugely expensive to maintain every time a new software upgrade came out. **What do you dislike about Fliplet?** - After people realise how easily and quickly these can be put together, we had to deal with a lot of requests.
