Top Rated Flinto Alternatives

Flinto allows you to prototype workflows on digital applications seamlessly. It integrates with Sketch, so all your artboards are linked up automagically and you can start prototyping animations, tranistions, and click-paths. It speeds up the design iteration process tremendously. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes it is not as intuitive as I would like. The learning curve is pretty steep. I was on YouTube and watching tutorials a ton until I got the hang of it and even still will have to go back to tutorials and help pages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's great for mocking up effects like animations, transitions without the issues of a very heavy program like after effects. I think performance wise, Flinto is great and allows me to incorporate animations and effects into my designs without affecting the overall performance on my system. When I first started using it, I was still struggling to understand all the tools. I think there is a better way to onboard a user, perhaps adding some visual cues that notify or emphasize on what tools do what. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the capabilities of animation for our prototypes. intuitive once you get the hang of it, Free-form animation has its good and bad qualities. Good Qualities being that pretty much any animation style you would like to add to your experience can be done, scrolling, sticky states, spinny icons. the new updated version now allows you to edit text and create additional UI to fill any gabs you come your by whilst connecting your screens. the software is still going through some growing pains it seems. it's not exactly "user-friendly" I wish the "live Preview" was more flexible as far as adjusting screen size, I have had issues when using smaller screens to test prototypes the preview state was not flexible and could not be zoomed in on or adjusted. often times "hover states" get wonky when there are multiple behaviors happening in one zone. sometimes when I add additional content to an art board after behaviors have been added, all of my visuals get wonky and warped into different parts of the page, this is incredibly annoying because I keep having to redo my animations and fix placements. It crashes on me when I have too much animations going on in one page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The app is quick and stable, and it's easy to use with a simple interface. I like that it has dynamic panels in the design interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This app has fewer options and capabilities than its competitors. The lack of graphical design tools is a particular problem. It also can't import files from other apps like Sketch, which presents a problem when working in a mixed environment or with other designers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It has an easy to use format. It's very easy to learn how to use when first using the product. The main draw to Flinto is being able to prototype an app without actually coding the app by ourselves. When I used the product, I was in a small group of New Media students designing an app for an academics based project. It was key to use Flinto as a way to show exactly what we wanted in terms of app animation, menu flow, user interaction, etc. Since we used it back in 2015, it looks like Flinto has had quite a bit added to it and may have features that were not readily available back in 2015. Subscription based for Flinto Lite. Depending on the project, the price can seem a bit if you're working alone or are purchasing the product to just mess around. We came across a bug or two here and there, but ultimately it did not affect our experience with the product and we were able to do prototype testing with success. Making transitions and animations is extremely easy. Much better than Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It doesn't link up with Invision, unfortunately. But it is extremely easy to create content with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No complex timelines or key frames, simple mapped interactions to artboards Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some limited functionality compared to other prototyping tools, low quality animations Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really enjoy the ease of usability. Animations are no simple task, especially when it's not something you do constantly for your work. I jumped right into the product knowing nothing and was able to complete a really well done animation for a mobile app design in a few hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Sketch import is a great feature, but it can get a little cumbersome. The export options for animations is a little disappointing as well. I couldn't successfully export a higher resolution GIF. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ability to quickly mock up multiple screens and create one app prototype is superb! The new behavior designer makes it so easy to create interactions for UI patterns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So many bugs! Not sure why but I feel like most products these days are unstable than the past few years. Maybe the team is saving on QA to test based on user feedback? If bugs were all fixed then I would give it a 10/10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like it because it behaves very well within the range of platforms for prototyping. Good transitions, easy to use, really very nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do not like that there is a Windows version. I wish there were more opportunities to learn the different variants in animation that offer, more material this style would be amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
