**What do you like best about Flickr?**

I use Flickr for image asset management, and I find it very streamlined for sharing assets among departments. I appreciate how easy it is to organize and embed the albums. The ease of use stands out, and it's particularly easy to embed a feed of images from albums. The initial setup was also very easy.

Some of the backend management and UX can be slightly confusing for newcomers.

**What problems is Flickr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**What do you like best about Flickr?**

 ### 3. A Timeless Platform for Photographers and Visual Creators

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexis S. | Entrepreneur, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Flickr?**

Flickr’s ability to host high-resolution images without aggressive compression is one of its biggest strengths. The platform respects visual quality, making it perfect for photographers, designers, and visual storytellers. I also love the organization tools like albums and tags, which make my portfolio easy to navigate. The active community and ability to discover niche content are a huge plus.

**What do you dislike about Flickr?**

The mobile app experience could be more modern and intuitive—it feels slightly outdated compared to other photo platforms. Also, some advanced search filters are only accessible to Pro users, which limits casual discovery.

**What problems is Flickr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Storage and display of galleries with legacy pictures for life, clients and projects.Flickr gives me a reliable home for my photography portfolio. I use it to showcase high-resolution work to potential clients and collaborators. The platform’s robust tagging system and creative commons licensing options have also helped me get my work discovered and even published elsewhere.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom R. | Photographer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Flickr?**

Flickr is clearly focused on photography and supporting a global community of photographers and photo consumers. I like that Flickr has been doing photography for as long as I have! Their environmental awareness initiatives are meaningful and important. In addition to their online presence, the Flickr team is a great group of people who successfully connected a community of photographers at a recent event hosted in NYC. The platform’s offering of unlimited uploads, high-quality image resolution, and intuitive image organization options truly sets it apart, making it an essential tool for both professional and amateur photographers.

**What do you dislike about Flickr?**

While Flickr offers many great features, there are a few aspects that could be improved. The ads inserted between photos in the free version can diminish the viewing experience. Additionally, there's a noticeable disparity between some of the legacy website design and the more modern mobile app design, which can be jarring for users who switch between the two. Despite uploading hundreds of high-quality photos, the level of engagement on my work has been disappointingly low. Lastly, my Explore feed often features too many boring landscape and nature photos, when I'm really looking for more diverse content including portraits, fashion, and street.

**What problems is Flickr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uploading entire photosets from events and photowalks, featuring high quality images, and getting my work out there to a broader audience.

 ### 6. Amazing site with an incredible community that helps me find inspiration and put my art out there.

I like that I can save all my photos to the site and that its super simple to do and what photos I want shown can get out there fast. I go through using the site often to find ideas and inspoiration in what I capture.

**What do you dislike about Flickr?**

i wish the app had more attention to it. i would like more features on the app to make it more user friendly.

**What problems is Flickr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

its helping me solve photo storage issues. its a safe place to keep my photos as they were taken so i forever have my photos at the original size.

 ### 8. *It was* A good old friend you can trust with your photos

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nikolina M. | SEO, WordPress & Content Marketing Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Flickr?**

The best feature Flicker has is allowing the image owner to choose the licence for sharing the image. Everyone can see it, but you don't risk ending up published on some blog.

**What do you dislike about Flickr?**

The recent changes had hidden many functionalities that were previously free behind a paywall that didn't exist at all. On the upside, the extra cash has brought improvements in design and ease of use.
The paywall I mentioned some time ago seems to have gotten worse. Flickr was many people's favourite place to share and collect images - now it's a hurdle race.

**What problems is Flickr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Flickr personally and professionally. Personally for sharing my work, and professionally for sourcing photos that are typically difficult to find elsewhere.
This second option has become impossible, but I'm not deleting it. Instead, I want others to see it as a part of the history.

**Reviewed by:** Nkanyiso Z. | Millwright Apprentice, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Flickr?**

There are several helpful aspects and upsides of using Flickr. Firstly, Flickr has a large and active community of photographers and enthusiasts, providing an opportunity to connect, interact, and gain inspiration from like-minded individuals. Secondly, Flickr is known for its reliability, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience without technical issues. Thirdly, the platform maintains the integrity of uploaded photos, preserving their sharpness and clarity, resulting in high-quality images that showcase the photographer's work effectively. Additionally, Flickr's international reach allows users to explore and connect with photographers from around the world, expanding their perspectives and experiences. Lastly, Flickr offers convenient sharing options, allowing users to easily showcase their photos by sending them via email or text, making sharing effortless.

**What do you dislike about Flickr?**

While Flickr offers many benefits, there are a few downsides to using the platform. First, free accounts have limited storage space, which can be a constraint for users with extensive photo collections. Upgrading to a paid subscription is necessary for more storage. Additionally, some users find the interface of Flickr to be slightly complex and less intuitive compared to other photo-sharing platforms, requiring a learning curve to navigate effectively. The built-in photo editing tools on Flickr are also basic, lacking some advanced features that photographers might desire for more comprehensive editing capabilities. Furthermore, the presence of advertisements on the free version of Flickr can be distracting for users. Lastly, there have been privacy concerns expressed by users regarding the visibility and control of their shared photos, particularly in terms of copyright protection.

**What problems is Flickr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The way Flickr solves the problem of reliable and seamless photo sharing is truly beneficial for me. I appreciate having a platform that works without technical issues, allowing me to focus on my photography and effortlessly share my work with others. Additionally, being a part of Flickr's vibrant community of photographers and enthusiasts is a great advantage for me. Interacting and connecting with like-minded individuals like (me) provides inspiration and valuable feedback, which has helped me grow as a photographer. The international reach of Flickr is also incredibly valuable as it allows me to explore diverse photography styles and connect with photographers from around the world. Overall, I find that Flickr addresses these problems effectively, making my photo-sharing experience enjoyable and rewarding.

 ### 12. My go-to service for image storage and archival

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erik U. | Vice President of Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2018

**What do you like best about Flickr?**

Flickr is an easily integrated service that provides peace of mind in knowing our professional and personal photography assets are safely archived.

**What do you dislike about Flickr?**

It would be great to have a built in option that recognizes duplicate images and offers the option to remove them.

**Recommendations to others considering Flickr:**

My only concern with the Flickr service is the uncertainty surrounding ownership with the recent transfer from Yahoo to Verizon. Presumably the phot community is a strong asset and will withstand any cutbacks that may come with new ownership. That said, I’m reluctant to put all my eggs in one basket for fear of loosing access to our asse

**What problems is Flickr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

While we use multiple other services for digital asset management, Flickr is our failsafe to capturing all images used for professional and personal purposes. The community also provides a useful public channel to promote our work and connect with other professionals in the industry.

 ### 13. organization of photos and videos

It allows my friends, family and other contacts to add comments, notes and tags to photos and videos in a more fun way

**What do you dislike about Flickr?**

Its entire process is fun, having an essential ease of use that there is nothing that I have come to dislike to comment

**What problems is Flickr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes it easier for me to share digital memories with others and to be able to enjoy the best moments in life with a more orderly organization.

 ### 14. Flickr: An Online Platform for the Photographers and Enthusiasts

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Devansh R. | Senior Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Flickr?**

The best thing about Flickr is its user-friendly and appealing interface. The entire journey of uploading photographs, showcasing them, and organizing them is simple and efficient. This platform provides one of the most powerful search capabilities providing filters based on any of the user's requirements. This makes the overall usage journey very smooth.

Flickr's platform also offers a community in the form of groups based on common interests and themes. In this way, the photographers can get an opportunity to collaborate and discuss their doubts, requirements, and techniques.

We can upload high-quality images on Flickr ranging up to 200 MBs. This directly indicates the emphasis on the high-quality images which adds to the overall value and vision of this platform.

**What do you dislike about Flickr?**

Flickr has two operational plans - free and paid plans. On the free plan, we get a lot of ads and there is a limit on uploading the photographs. So, users who have a large portfolio of photographs and want to add a large number of images to their collections will have to opt for the pro version. Also, the advanced analytic tools are only available on the Flickr Pro.

Another thing that I didn't like was the jitteriness and legginess of the website sometimes. It reduces the overall experience.

**What problems is Flickr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Flickr is a platform that serves as an online collection of photographs for photographers, visual storytellers as well as end consumers of those photographs. It is serving the function of managing and creating collections of images from the view of photographers and from the view of end users, it serves the functionality of a library of stock photographs. It offers an opportunity to share, discover and connect with people of similar interests on its platform.

I have been using Flickr to access stock photographs for my graphic designs and to discover and communicate with people through its groups feature.

 ### 15. Flickr Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicholas G. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Flickr?**

I recently joined Flickr as a beginner photographer and was admittedly intimidated by the quality of the work that photographers on the platform had on display. I proceeded to upload some photos, not expecting much engagement. When I checked back a few days later, I saw that a few people had "faved" a couple of my photos and one even left comments. Upon reviewing their photos, I was humbled by the quality and quantity of their work. I knew I had entered a community.

**What do you dislike about Flickr?**

I have no complaints to date. I'm accustomed to websites and social media platforms, so the UI and UX are familiar. At no point was I confused, nor did I have any problems understanding how the site works.

**What problems is Flickr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives me a place to host my photos, display them to skilled and talented people, receive encouragement, and most of learn from the work of others. Just looking at others' camera settings is invaluable.

 ### 16. Unleashing Creativity and Community: A Platform for Visual Storytelling

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sezan S. | Research Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Flickr?**

One of the standout features of Flickr is its emphasis on visual storytelling and the vibrant community it fosters. The platform provides a great space for photographers of all skill levels, from beginners to professionals, to showcase their work and connect with like-minded individuals. The ability to upload, organise, and share high-quality images is seamless, and the extensive storage options ensure your visual library can grow indefinitely. The user-friendly interface makes navigating through different albums, sets, and groups easy, enhancing the overall user experience. The social aspect of Flickr, with its active commenting system and community engagement, encourages collaboration, feedback, and inspiration. Additionally, the option to license your photos through Creative Commons offers opportunities for exposure and potential revenue streams for photographers. Overall, Flickr provides a comprehensive platform for photographers to express their creativity and engage with a supportive community.

**What do you dislike about Flickr?**

While Flickr has many strengths, a few areas could be improved. Firstly, the free version of Flickr has certain limitations, such as the storage cap and some advanced features being restricted to the Pro version. While this is understandable, it can be frustrating for users who rely on the free version or are hesitant to commit to a paid subscription. Additionally, the organisation and search features could be more robust and customisable, especially for users with extensive collections. Occasionally, the site's performance can be sluggish, particularly when browsing large albums or participating in active groups. Although Flickr offers a mobile app, it could benefit from further optimisation and refinement to match the seamless experience of the desktop version. Despite these minor drawbacks, Flickr remains a precious platform for photographers and enthusiasts.

Overall, Flickr is an impressive platform combining powerful features, a thriving community, and a visually appealing interface. It empowers photographers to share their work, engage with others, and explore a vast array of inspiring visual content. Whether you're a passionate hobbyist or a professional photographer, Flickr provides a rich and supportive environment to showcase your talent and connect with fellow creatives.

**What problems is Flickr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Flickr solves a few critical problems related to photo sharing and management. Firstly, it provides a secure and reliable platform to store and back up my photos. By uploading my images to Flickr, I no longer need to worry about losing them due to device failure or accidental deletion. Knowing that my precious memories are safely preserved in the cloud gives me peace of mind.

Furthermore, Flickr offers extensive privacy settings, allowing me to control who can view and download my photos. This feature is handy when sharing my work with a specific audience, such as friends, family, or clients while protecting them from unauthorised usage.

Another benefit of using Flickr is the vibrant and active community of photographers it houses. I can join groups, engage in discussions, share my work, and receive valuable feedback from fellow photographers. This social aspect of Flickr enriches my photography journey by inspiring learning opportunities and a sense of belonging within a community of like-minded individuals.

In addition, Flickr's powerful search capabilities make it easier for others to discover my photos. The platform's algorithm and tagging system help my work reach a wider audience, potentially leading to recognition and exposure. This exposure can benefit aspiring photographers looking to gain visibility or attract potential clients.

 ### 17. Store and share your photos with the community

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Miguel José G. | HRBP, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Flickr?**

What I really like is the sense of community and the option to control who I wanna show my pics to. I can upload a lot of photos in the free plan, all in high resolution, which is pretty good.
But the best part is being able to find and get the exact images I need for my everyday stuff.

**What do you dislike about Flickr?**

At first it was difficult for me to understand due to the unintuitive interface, but then everything flowed fine.
From the free version, the ads are annoying and if you want to upgrade to the pro version, I consider that the costs are high for the use that I can give it.

**What problems is Flickr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Due to my role as BDR, when preparing email sequences or posts on Linkedin, IG, etc.
I need a space to manage and find images that fit what I need to put together.
Flickr helped me make this job faster and easier.

 ### 18. Exploring the World of Photography

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ana Maria R. | Financial Project Analyst intern, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Flickr?**

Upon entering the Flickr website, I was greeted by a clean and intuitive interface. The layout was simple and easy to navigate, allowing me to quickly explore various features and find what I was looking for. The search functionality was particularly impressive, as I could effortlessly find specific photos, groups, or even individual photographers with ease.

**What do you dislike about Flickr?**

the limited storage space provided for free accounts. Flickr offers a generous amount of storage, but it does have its limitations. As someone who captures a significant number of images, I reached the free account's storage limit quicker than expected. While Flickr does offer paid plans with expanded storage options, the limitation on the free tier might be restrictive for photographers who rely solely on the free account and have a vast collection of photos to showcase

**What problems is Flickr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to create albums and organize my photos into sets made it easy to showcase my work in a coherent and visually appealing manner. Additionally, the option to add tags and descriptions to each photo enhanced the discoverability of my content.

 ### 19. Photo sharing and editing in 3 clicks

Flickr provides a fantastic platform for showcasing my photography skills. I can create albums and sets to organize my work and share it with others. The ability to add tags to my photos makes them easily discoverable by users interested in similar subjects or themes.

**What do you dislike about Flickr?**

While Flickr has made some updates over the years, I find its user interface to be somewhat outdated and less intuitive compared to other modern photo-sharing platforms. Navigating through the website or app can sometimes be confusing, and certain features may not be easily discoverable for new users.

**What problems is Flickr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Flickr is a treasure trove of creative inspiration. I can explore the vast collection of photos shared by other photographers, discover new techniques, and find inspiration in different genres and styles. While Flickr does offer an excellent platform for photo-sharing and a vibrant community, one area where some users might find it lacking is in its pricing. Compared to some other photo-sharing services, Flickr's pricing can be considered relatively high.

What improvements should Flickr make to enhance its user experience? Presently, the interface is not very intuitive, prompting the team at Flickr to consider optimizing it. Moreover, the platform relies heavily on ads to sustain itself, which might be somewhat unpleasant for users. Also users searching for an all-in-one platform may be deterred by the inability to upload videos. Hopefully, these issues will be addressed by Flickr in due course!

 ### 24. A Comprehensive & Easy-to-Use Photo Sharing Platform

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jona B. | Higher Education, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Flickr?**

Flickr provides a generous amount of storage space for free users, allowing me to upload and share my photos without worrying about running out of space. The platform's user interface is clean and intuitive, making it easy for me to navigate and organize my photos.
Flickr's photo community is also a great feature, as I can connect with other photographers and discover new photos and inspiration.

**What do you dislike about Flickr?**

As a free user, I have limited access to certain features, such as the ability to view my photo stats or access Flickr's mobile app without ads. Other than that, the platform's search function can be hit or miss at times, and it can be difficult to find specific photos or users.

**What problems is Flickr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can store and share my images on Flickr's free edition without needing to pay for more storage space. The community elements of the platform enable me to connect with other photographers and discover fresh photographs and inspiration, which improves my photography abilities and knowledge.

 ### 25. Great Platform for Sharing Your Photography

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michele D. | Fulfillment Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Flickr?**

What I like the best about Flickr is that in a way, it's essentially a photographer's version of social media in where you can follow each other to build your network as well as post photos that you've taken and are proud of to share. You can even set up a shop in where you can sell prints of your photos too.

**What do you dislike about Flickr?**

The thing that I least like about Flickr would probably be it's UX design. Compared to sites such as Pexels or Unsplash, the layout of the site feels as though it's a bit dated.

**What problems is Flickr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem that Flickr is solving is having a platform in where photographers can not only post their work, but to also connect with other photographers as well and gain inspiration through the process. It benefits me because I'm able to see the different works that my peers are doing and take a new spin when it comes to the stuff that I do due to the inspiration that I get.

 ### 26. Solid platform for saving and sharing photography

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ahmed R. | Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Flickr?**

Flickr is easy to use. It's easy to organize my photos into albums, tag them, and organize them how I want. It's priced relatively well (although it keeps increasing). I have been a Pro user for many years and will continue to use Flickr to host my photography.

**What do you dislike about Flickr?**

I always have trouble sharing/downloading my photos on mobile. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. After all of these years, I would expect the Flickr app to have worked out all the kinks and work everytime I want to access my own photos. It's always hit or miss and can be frustrating.

**What problems is Flickr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hosting unlimited photos in one place at a reasonable price. It needs to be organized and easy to use. There is a good community and the groups are helpful, fun to be a part of.

 ### 27. A thing before instagram

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chiranth J. | Sales Head, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Flickr?**

Flickr apparently happened to be the first Instagram the world had seen. Integrated with the old Nokia 5233 phones. Flickr was one of the well-renowned social media platforms in the early '20s

**What do you dislike about Flickr?**

The audience on Flickr is very authentic and most of the users migrated to using Instagram since it was launched in 2010 and Flickr took a hit for its monotonous service compared to instagram.

**What problems is Flickr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Flickr not being able to solve the problem of engagement turned out to be a big problem for Flickr which could not withstand competition from its competitors who arrived in the market lately. They always had to solve for engagement and even today Flickr needs to solve for engagement considering the introduction of events.

 ### 28. Super useful to download good quality images!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicolle S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Flickr?**

I liked that it made my job easier when looking for a specific photo and what's best is that they're good quality pictures and lets you choose the size and form of the photo according to what I needed.

**What do you dislike about Flickr?**

What I disliked the most is that not all users set their photos to be downloaded and sometimes I really liked a photo and when I wanted to download it, I saw the owned had disabled the download of their photos so I had to look for another one that I didn't like as much.

**What problems is Flickr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it solved my issue when finding a specific photo I needed for my research due to the fact that there is such a variety of photos that I had a lot to choose from.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bolor N. | Business Operations Manager, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Flickr?**

Flickr is a fun way to store, organize and share your photos and videos in one place. Easy way to manage all your different pictures into albums and divide them into groups. Also, if you have many different faces, you can tag people so you know who is who.

**What do you dislike about Flickr?**

Uploading photos for some reason takes multiple steps, which is very annoying, and uploading over 50+ pictures can take a long time. Also, if you upload the wrong picture it is very hard to delete that photo.

**What problems is Flickr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organizing photos in one place and managing photos per different groups and events. Tagging and identifying people on images, especially for large group photos. Automatically uploading from camera roll to flick saves time and the issue of manually uploading all the images.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maria H. | Global Talent, E-Learning, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Flickr?**

Flickr has a vast collection of photos taken by talented photographers; this makes it easy to find pictures of just about anything your heart desires. Flickr stands out among its competitors because it's been around for so long, not for its functionality.

**What do you dislike about Flickr?**

The uploading tool needs help, I could only upload one photo at a time, and the drag-and-drop tool didn't work for me. Flickr lacks editing functionality, maybe the pro account has a better tool.

**What problems is Flickr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Flickr is a well-known photo and video hosting website; I don't feel I benefit from it since it seems more suited for photographers. It is a place where I can share experiences, tag people and tell stories. I wish the free account had more functionality.

It provides tools for organizing into albums, and collections, making it easy for me to categorize and manage my large photo libraries.

**What do you dislike about Flickr?**

The mobile app for Flickr has mixed reviews for me. I think it lacks in features and not as user-friendly as other photo-sharing apps available on the market. However, it's important to note that app experiences can vary depending on someone's device.

**What problems is Flickr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Flickr for both management and stock photos. I think it provides a platform for me to discover inspiring and high-quality photography from around the world. **What do you dislike about Flickr?**

There is a lot of spam and clickbait to be aware of. It's also simple for thieves to steal your images here. The good news is that if you don't want anyone to save your images, you can disable right-clicking and sharing.

**What problems is Flickr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It accurately groups animals, architecture, and landscapes and even subgroups them in my extensive photo collection. The classification utilizes visible tags, so we can quickly remedy a miscategorization by deleting the identified robot tags.

Some of the composition, enhancement, and lightening of the photos wasn't not the best. There can be a lot of clickbait and spam as well, so just being cautious of that.

It is a place to house photos and to compile them together. It also houses pictures into a gallery style so that way it is easier to sort photos and put them into categories.

I appreciate the ability to search by keyword, tag, or even by colour, making it easy to find the perfect photo for any project.

**What do you dislike about Flickr?**

1) Flickr only offers 1000GB of storage for free accounts, which may not be enough for professional photographers or those with a large number of high-resolution photos.

Flickr is primarily solving the problem of providing a platform for photographers and visual artists to share their work with a global community. Through Flickr, I can showcase their photos, discover the work of others, and connect with like-minded individuals who share their passion for visual storytelling. This benefit can be particularly valuable for me, photographers and artists who may not have access to traditional avenues for showcasing their work, such as galleries or exhibitions. **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lynn S. | ESL Teacher - by the way my screenshot doesn't work and I took a picture of me using Text-em-all but the file wouldn't upload, said it was too big, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Flickr?**

I like that you can use it on Pinterest, can share photos with family and friends, and that you can follow professional photographers. You can even order prints!

**What do you dislike about Flickr?**

I haven't found any downsides at all. It is easy to use (intuitive even for a person who is not too tech savvy). It has gotten better over the years, too,in being more of a type of social media.

**What problems is Flickr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am in a Scandinavian dance group and decided to look up costume ideas this morning. I went to Google and typed in my relatives' home towns in Sweden to see what their historical dress was. I was immediately taken to Pinterest and the photo that was uploaded was from Flickr. So obviously other people like it, too.

Please note that I'm on my work computer and the screenshot either is blocked or it doesn't work, so I can't show myself using it.

 ### 48. No flicker with Flickr

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Neha S. | Senior Core Committee Member, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Flickr?**

Content available on flickr is much more authentic and unique as compared to other similar platforms. It is a popular photography platform and does not distract users towards video or other medium of content.

**What do you dislike about Flickr?**

For few folks, the application's pro premium version may be a tad pricey.

The search function is completely broken and yields no results, despite my knowledge that the content is there.

**What problems is Flickr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the best resources for anyone interested in photography who wants to learn, gain exposure, and experience.
Numerous groups exist that are devoted to assisting other users with any problems they might encounter. There are also some enjoyable group challenges. For instance, a weekly assignment would be to take a picture of racing cars. Those questions are incredibly good for exercising your creative muscles and motivating you to go out and take pictures.
I can easily organize my photos and modify the sharing options for particular albums and images.
