"Flexera One high customization potential"
4/5
What do you like best about Flexera One?

The customization capability are very high. I'm working in a large company with complex organization. Flexera managed to customize the Flexera One in order to best meet our organizational requirements. Every thing which goes beyond ITAM (we were using FNMS in the past) is highly valuable and provides a lot of additional opportunities and potential to replace redundant tools covering the same set of data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Flexera One?

Report creation in ITAM. The main issue I had in FNMS is still there in Flexera One. Sometimes I must create large ITAM reports including parameters for device, inventory, assigned user etc. Once the report is saved and run the order of the parameters is completely mixed up, specially once I modify the report eg. by adding an additional parameter the order is again mixed up completely after saving. "Comprehensive IT asset management solution"
4/5
What do you like best about Flexera One?

The platform provides excellent visibility into software inventory across multiple environments. Asset discovery works well and saves significant time compared to manual tracking methods. License compliance monitoring has improved our audit readiness and reduced compliance risks.

The unified dashboard for managing both cloud and on-premises assets is valuable for hybrid infrastructure. Integration capabilities with existing systems work smoothly. The software normalization feature accurately identifies applications and helps maintain clean data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Flexera One?

Report generation could be more user-friendly and flexible. The interface requires training for new users to navigate effectively. Some processes still need manual intervention that could benefit from additional automation.

Initial deployment and configuration required more time and resources than expected. The learning curve is steep for team members without prior asset management experience. Certain advanced features have limited customization options.

UI seems to be quite laggy after recent upgrade and it gets too slow to load certain modules. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexera One: A Robust and Reliable Solution for Software Asset Management"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Flexera One?

Flexera One’s strength lies in its robust discovery and normalization capabilities. Compared to other tools I’ve used, it consistently delivers more accurate and comprehensive software identification, which is critical for effective asset management.

I especially value the detailed file evidence it provides, including file paths. This feature is incredibly helpful during audit processes, as it allows for precise tracking and validation of software installations across the environment.

Flexera One makes it easier to maintain compliance and optimize software usage with confidence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Flexera One?

While Flexera One is a robust and feature-rich platform, the reporting capabilities within the ITAM and FSM dashboards could be improved—especially for executive-level users. More intuitive visualizations, high-level summaries, and customizable reporting options would make it easier for leadership to quickly interpret key metrics and trends.

The ITV reporting looks fantastic in terms of layout and clarity. I wish similar enhancements could be applied to ITAM and FSM to provide a more consistent and executive-friendly reporting experience across the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"I am using Flexera One for a cloud spend optimization platform"
5/5
What do you like best about Flexera One?

Flexera One is a complete SaaS solution including FinOps, SaaS Management and Asset Management. We use the FinOps module (CCO) and it provides a rich set of features (cost reporting, allocation, planning, optimization, etc) which help us to make cloud spend predictable, optimized and aligned with strategic business priorities. It is also very flexible as it provides a framework (policy framework) to implement custom automated jobs to address specific requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Flexera One?

There is nothing I dislike about Flexera One. Of course the tool can be enhanced with more sophisticated features, but we see that the feature roadmap is quite rich and new features and new modules are added on regular basis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
