Manage your fleet from anywhere. Fleetio&#39;s suite of cloud- and mobile-based fleet management solutions enables fleets of all sizes to automate fleet operations and manage asset lifecycles. Fleets can automate in-house and outsourced maintenance management, receive recall alerts, track fuel, vehicle inspections, parts, vendors and much more. Data about asset utilization, equipment, maintenance costs, fuel efficiency, parts and labor can all be reported on within Fleetio. Fleetio improves fleet communication and streamlines issue resolution with its mobile app, email notifications and reminders. **What do you like best about Fleetio?**

I can track everything on my fleet, no matter where they are. The interface is very easy to understand, it is very intuitive. We use Samsara for GPS tracking and the integration with Fleetio keeps everything in place. All of the elements from the DVIR that are marked as wrong, are uploaded as issues automatically.
When services are done, I keep track of the history, this helps me understand the life of my vehicles.

**What do you dislike about Fleetio?**

Not too many things to dislike. I guess our biggest issue with the platform is that issues can be repeated and it doesn't recognize if there is an issue with the same name open for one vehicle. Sometimes, and this is rare, the system is slow.

**What problems is Fleetio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralizing information; it helps a lot to keep track of the services done per vehicle, and we can add the invoices to the services too. Thanks to this we have been able to narrow the scenarios when a service is done twice out of confusion, or a false report. The statuses can also be customized so we have them tailored to our needs, that helps a lot too.

**What do you like best about Fleetio?**

In my role as a fleet maintenance manager, being able to quickly assign service tasks to technicians, integrate inventory by location, and add issues reported by drivers has improved our overall performance.

The menus and options available let me tailor the dashboard to my department’s needs without adding extra bloat.

**What do you dislike about Fleetio?**

I’ve noticed that when I switch units, the window often keeps the previous unit’s issues or reminders. Because of that, I end up having to refresh repeatedly just to see the correct information.

**What problems is Fleetio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At our current stage of growth, I wouldn’t be able to keep accurate records of issues, workflows, repairs, and inventory without relying on multiple programs. Fleetio brings all of these pieces together in a single interface, which helps me work more efficiently and enables my techs to be more productive having access to the workorders on their devices.

**What do you like best about Fleetio?**

The best thing about Fleetio for me is how much time it saves I don’t have to manually track services or expenses anymore because everything is automated and easy to access whenever I need it and It also helps me stay proactive instead of reactive since I can catch issues early before they turn into bigger problems

While Fleetio works well I find that certain advanced features require upgrading and that can be a bit restrictive depending on your needs

What Fleetio is really solving for me is the lack of visibility and control over my fleet Before using it, it was hard to keep track of maintenance costs and vehicle status especially when relying on spreadsheets or manual records now everything is centralized and updated in real time so I always know what’s going on with each vehicle It helps me stay on top of maintenance reduce downtime and avoid unexpected breakdowns because issues are reported and handled quickly

**What do you like best about Fleetio?**

Fleetio is an intuitive platform that is competitively priced and integrates well with our other platforms including fuel cards, point of sale system and telematics.  Customer support is very quick to respond.  The new features are continuously released and helpful to managing our fleet.

**What do you dislike about Fleetio?**

The one downside I've been working through is modifying our service tasks from our point of sale system to line up with the standard service tasks in Fleetio.  We do have workarounds that are helping.

**What problems is Fleetio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The service reminders for our service schedules and the renewal reminders for licensing are very beneficial.  We used to try and manage with an excel spreadsheet and it just became unmanageable as our fleet has grown to over 650 units.

I really like the simple and dynamic interface of Fleetio, it is really easy to use. The system's automation capability is impressive, acting as a "double-check" that allows me to manage all the necessary updates for each team on time. I particularly appreciate the renewal reminder system for documents and reports, as it saves me a lot of manual review time. The management of external suppliers is also noteworthy, as I can directly integrate workshop invoices into the asset history, giving me a complete view of the maintenance.

The sensitivity of location permissions in the browser sometimes blocks my inspection saving process.

**What do you like best about Fleetio?**

I like the traceability that Fleetio offers, as I can know who uses the chassis, who was the last to use them, and what problems they recorded. All the information is stored, which is crucial when you work with more than 20 people managing assets and more than 10 people coordinating them. The traceability ensures that everything is in one place and nothing is hidden, allowing us to act in an organized manner when we need to fix or document something.

**What do you dislike about Fleetio?**

It's a lot of information at the same time, and it should be taught more on how to use it. It's not that simple and a good deepening is needed. I would have wished for more training. There are many options and slots to use, which is good, but we must learn to use the platform. The downside is that with so much information one tends to get lost, therefore, training should be improved. The initial setup was not easy at all.

**What problems is Fleetio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fleetio to coordinate and monitor assets, organizing all the information in a centralized manner. I can see who uses the assets, where they are, and their status, which improves organization and facilitates traceability.

**What do you like best about Fleetio?**

What is an extensive platform, and that covers its branches with many specifications, where a user can be created and users can use their assets in real time, their notes, and which equipment is OOS to be able to repair or not use it, implies that the operation becomes lighter day by day.

**What do you dislike about Fleetio?**

I don't like that at the beginning it's a bit difficult to use... something good is that it's extensive, but you have to learn one way or another how to use it, no one explains it well to you and there are many options it has, hopefully its first entry to the platform could show more about its use, because if it's left to the user alone, it will be very difficult for them.

**What problems is Fleetio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the power of traceability and loss of information, we use Fleetio to have all the assets of our company organized, documentation, physical condition, images, who uses it, what problems it has, if those problems have already been fixed, who fixed it, what was done, Fleetio allows you to know all that, that's why it is so extensive.

**What do you like best about Fleetio?**

I find Fleetio's software and customer service fantastic. I love how they encourage continuing education through their webinars and academy because it feels like they really want you to succeed. I also appreciate their continuous improvements and the AI review for each service entry, which have been very helpful. The webinars have been very engaging and have helped me to be a better fleet manager. Setting up Fleetio was extremely straightforward, almost self-explanatory, so I didn't need someone to walk me through many steps.

**What do you dislike about Fleetio?**

There seems to always be a clash for me with how issues turn into work orders. When that happens I can't figure out how to seamlessly integrate them with service orders, so sometimes inaccurate duplicates show up in my service history. Same orders can show up as a service entry AND a work order, so that's kind of confusing. I understand that there is value in having an issue automatically become a work order, but it then gets locked in as a work order. So when a shop fixes the issue, it comes in as a service entry. I can't 'solve' the issue manually once the service order is done because the issue is already a work order, so it would be nice if service entries gave you the capability to mark ALL issues as completed, even if it's currently a work order. So better integration between the two would be nice.

Fleetio has drastically reduced vehicle downtime and unexpected breakdowns, allowing us to track spending patterns. The AI review highlights service order red flags, and webinars make me a better fleet manager with continual improvements.

**What do you like best about Fleetio?**

I find Fleetio very easy to use, which has been a huge benefit for us. Setting it up was fairly straightforward, allowing us to transition other departments onto it effortlessly. We can quickly get up and running as long as we have the right information. Once everything is set up, it doesn't require much attention, which is a big plus. We have just one staff member managing it, mostly handling invoices and tracking costs. This functionality helps us decide when equipment needs replacement by monitoring the equipment's depreciation and costs. The customer service is really good, and we had a great experience with the initial onboarding process. Overall, the ease of use for our staff with little to no training has been really good.

**What do you dislike about Fleetio?**

One of the areas that we do see could use some improvement is the equipment part of Fleetio, in the sense of attachments and stuff that can be on machines that get signed out. We would like to see more tracking of that, our expenditures for those pieces of equipment.

I use Fleetio to manage our fleet, reducing maintenance time, catching issues early, and saving money. It also helps us track costs for better equipment replacement planning.

The auto integration with the shop network is fantastic because it makes it easy to find good shops and get billed directly through the platform. I also think it's a really great system overall, and the customer support is amazing. Setting it up was pretty easy since it allows for mass uploading with Excel.

I like being able to view my fleet and make changes all in one place. With admin access to the account, I also appreciate how easy it is to add and manage viewing options and alerts for each individual vehicle.

**What do you dislike about Fleetio?**

Sometimes the portal doesn’t show accurate information and can lag when delivering the data I’m looking for. It could be an internet issue, but it’s still frustrating—especially at crucial times.

We use Fleetio as our primary vehicle monitoring system for our fleet. We’re planning to add features soon, such as maintenance alerts, to improve how we manage everything.

**What do you like best about Fleetio?**

It is very helpful using Fleetio everyday to keep track of the fleet and fleet expenses. I appreciate how the dashboard can be customized to quickly show all the important information, from service tasks and reminders to open issues and work orders. This makes it much easier to keep track of everything for a quick everyday glance. The benefit of running Fleetio is the ease and convenance of everything integrated into one site. This makes implementing services and tasks better for the drivers and mechanics with minimal downtime. Customer support has been very helpful with any issues that have came up.

**What do you dislike about Fleetio?**

There are times when I find it somewhat confusing to generate reports. However, that may be more on my part rather than the Fleetio system.

Fleetio is helpful in reducing fleet downtime and centralizing all information in one place. This approach minimizes the risk of incorrect data transfers between different sites, which can otherwise result in miscalculated service intervals or budgeting mistakes.

**What do you like best about Fleetio?**

What I value most about Fleetio is the comprehensive level of control and operational clarity it offers over my fleet. The platform allows me to monitor vehicle behavior day by day, identify usage patterns, detect deviations, and anticipate potential incidents. Thanks to this detailed visibility, I can make informed decisions and apply the necessary corrections to maintain operations at their highest level of efficiency. In general terms, Fleetio has become an essential tool to ensure order, continuous tracking, and strategic management based on real data.

The only module I use less frequently is the tools module, mainly because in my company's current operational model it does not represent a priority need. Although I recognize its value within the management ecosystem, for my specific operation other modules are more relevant and strategic. Even so, I consider it positive that the platform includes this functionality for businesses that do require this level of control.

Fleetio is solving one of the most important challenges in fleet management: the lack of clear and centralized visibility over the expenses and operational status of vehicles. Thanks to this tool, I can quickly, accurately, and efficiently visualize the costs associated with my fleet, which has significantly improved my analysis and planning processes.

The mobile app could use more work with allowing full access to create new parts in inventory, create purchase orders etc. that can only be done through the web version.

**What do you like best about Fleetio?**

I love Fleetio's mobility, which allows me to work from home if needed without driving to every office to receive truck issues. It's fantastic that I can track maintenance usage and monitor if our vehicles are under or over-serviced. The digital transition is extremely valuable to our company since we've significantly reduced paper usage. I appreciate being able to see our maintenance costs in real time instead of waiting for the finance team, and it's helpful to identify trucks with recurring issues easily. First of all, Fleetio is very rich in features and can accommodate multiple types of vehicles. I find Fleetio really helpful due to its native integration with Samsara, which assists us in tracking utilization of our assets and streamlines inspection reports. I'm impressed by the very fast support, especially when resolving issues with the API and getting accustomed to new features. The extensive collection of API endpoints and their accommodating approach to our special needs for data connections is something I appreciate. I also find the workflow automation feature particularly beneficial as it saves manual time when changing vehicle status for work orders. The bilingual feature helps us better interact with maintenance technicians that are more familiar with Spanish. I like that Fleetio is constantly evolving and that they really listen to our feedback. The initial setup was very easy, which was a big plus for us.

**What do you dislike about Fleetio?**

Lack of Samsara integration for trailer meter reading makes it challenging sometimes to import trailer meters from Samsara to Fleetio. The API rate limit is low, making the API a little difficult to work with due high pipeline runtime. API documentation is also inaccurate at times.

**What do you like best about Fleetio?**

Implementation of Fleetio is so easy, with the ability to bulk import information. Fleetio enables easy tracking and management of multiple fleets. Inspection forms and scheduling (service reminders) are easy to create and manage. Integrations with telematics systems are seamless. I am using Fleetio all day every day and the split screen feature has made things even easier. Customer service is always timely and helpful, even with the time differences.

As for dislike it is not a major issue but small vendors can not afford fleetio we they need a team to manage it but small vendors have very tight budget so it can be a dislike . mostly we can get help from it but at a high price .

when i started my business i was alone and it was hard for me to manage all the things alone but then i read about fleetio and contacted them about their service and they made it very easy for me to handle all the things and it is very much helping and time saving. managing and maintenance gets very easy because of using fleetio it helps me a lot when it come to time saving and quality service.

**What do you like best about Fleetio?**

What differentiates Fleetio is its beautiful, intuitive interface and shortened implementation time. Our team was up and live in days with no lengthy training required. The dashboard simplifies vehicle status tracking, maintenance scheduling, and fuel logging. I like how well they integrate with our GPS tracking and telematics equipment too. Customer support is proactive and responsive, and their help guide is teeming with real-world, practical resources. We use Fleetio daily and it has dramatically enhanced our maintenance efficiency and operational visibility.

**What do you dislike about Fleetio?**

With all the great features Fleetio offers, the flexibility of the reporting options leaves something to be desired. The pre-built reports offer decent functionality for basic tracking however, they can tend to be overly constrictive when more detailed or customized information is needed. Another challenge I’ve run into is with the mobile app. It works well for the most part, but has difficulty syncing in low-signal areas. The integration process with a few of our other tools was a little complicated; there were a number of obstacles which took longer than expected. Nonetheless, Fleetio's customer support quickly responded and guided us through those problems. In summary, despite the bumps, Fleetio has done miracles to streamline our fleet management.

**What problems is Fleetio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fleetio is addressing several critical problems for us, mainly around simplifying fleet maintenance and monitoring vehicle performance. Prior to Fleetio, it was challenging to keep maintenance schedules and fuel consumption for individual vehicles in check, resulting in unplanned downtime and higher expenses. We can now track maintenance requirements with ease, remind ourselves when maintenance is due, and monitor fuel efficiency in real time, which has lowered our operating expenses quite considerably. The integration with our GPS system also enabled easier vehicle location monitoring and usage monitoring, enhancing route optimization and fleet operation in general. Overall, Fleetio saved us time, reduced surprise repairs, and made operating day-to-day a much easier task.

**What do you like best about Fleetio?**

I appreciate the fact that there are so many components to each asset you add to your fleet on the portal.  You can save basically everything about the vehicle or equipment plus all expenses for repairs and such until the end of it's life.  Having everything all in one place is great.

**What do you dislike about Fleetio?**

My only complaint is that some of the things are not quick and easy to key.  Like dates for example, you have to key the entire date including year.  It would be great if it defaulted to the current year and you only type the year if it is a previous year.  This is helpful with the data entry piece.

**What problems is Fleetio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fleetio is allowing me to track maintenance schedules and other expenses related to each asset that I add to the portal.  This is helpful in calculating FMV for accounting and tax purposes.  It is also allowing me to keep electronic records in software that is gear towards a fleet rather than creating a spreadsheet and managing that.

I like that Fleetio automatically alerts based on mileage or dates, which significantly reduces unexpected breakdowns. It's really convenient that odometer readings and fuel spend flow in automatically without needing manual entry. The setup was also easy and user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Fleetio?**

There is a 5-vehicle minimum for all accounts. If you only have 2 or 3 trucks, you will still pay for 5.

I use Fleetio to manage vehicle maintenance logs, track maintenance records, and it automatically alerts based on mileage or dates to reduce unexpected breakdowns. Odometer readings and fuel spending flow in automatically without manual entry.
