I like to create videos for our church website and this program allows me to easily create one in very little time. I love that I can make it unique by adding my own music and sound clips, that is really a key aspect in this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing that I dislike, it is a very simple and easy platform to utilize. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

VSDC is extremely powerful and fairly easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes I try to click on the timeline instead of dragging the current position pointer. I wish it would let me do that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Among all the software I have used, VSDC is the one that delivers the best relationship between performance, ease of use, and quantity of tools available. For my use, VSDC has been the best option. The editing process is simple, and it's easy to add sound, transition effects, or remove personal information from the video. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As it is a free version, it is clear that there are limitations. It is perfectly possible to use this version. However, it is necessary to analyze if the PRO version does not adapt better to your needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how it's similar to iMovie and easy to use. I'm not very experienced in video editing but this was pretty easy to figure out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't that the interface looks antiquated. It could use an update. It's also not easy to search for something. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

exporting videos with certain features is not available in the free mode Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Learning curve. This is basically what helped me start with video editing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Too many confirmations need to be done. Sometimes to much Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to use, feature packed and stable video editor.
Built in one click export templates for social media. Drag and drop clip importing. Audio controls. Transitions, fades, frame by frame editing. Works on old and new hardware. The pro version has every possible option you could ever need. It's better to have it and not need it then to need it and not have it. LUT, curves, masks, overlays, picture in picture, chroma key (in various colors). Their YouTube channel has how to's for every feature and VSDC has so much more including 360 video editing. After trying pretty much every other editor, I can't really Think of anything that stands out as bad with VSDC. I guess, when selecting multiple clips in the timeline, it would be nice to use "shift+click" to select a range instead of using "ctrl+click" to select each clip one at a time. But realistically that's such a small issue it's really not a big deal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
