By default, it should allow sync intervals of less than 15 minutes and offer more granularity in how data is synced. The current three options (only new columns, new data, etc.) aren’t very helpful. We have occasionally seen unexpected full reloads, which can be disruptive for high volume tables. MAR (Monthly Active Rows) pricing also lacks transparency and can quickly escalate for frequently updated datasets. I like Fivetran for its effectiveness at change data capture and the HVR agent has been very valuable in quietly harvesting the data. It gathers data while putting zero load on the source database, which is really beneficial for loading near real-time data into our enterprise data platform on Snowflake.
