Firstup is a powerful platform for business communicators that can be used as a hosted intranet solution, or for traditional email comms as well as a more innovative component-centric posting strategy. Their content editing studio is what you would expect from a world-class comms tool with many options for placing all standard media types in pre-designed content blocks with drag n' drop ease. They also provide a strong mobile app and features for feeding content into external intranets in support of a create once, publish everywhere strategy. The tool includes an easy-to-use audience group builder to make the most of the employee data and HR attributes that you can uplod to the system on a daily basis. Does not currently support Active Directory integration or a way to use existing Outlook distribution lists. Does not provide OOTB integrations with any top tier digital asset management (DAM) products. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that it is easy to sign new users up. Also, the layout is very user friendly and anyone can easily navigate the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Whenever a person is logged out it's not clear. Sometimes associates come up having issues with the app not giving current information and it's because they don't realize they need to log back in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Firstup has allowed us to bring everyone into the fold with real-time digital and mobile access to company information and communications. It's provided a whole new world of connectivity and engagement for our employees. The Firstup Customer community has also fostered some great connections for us as communicators/administrators of the platform, and we've found significant value from the in-person events that Firstup puts on. There can be frequent team changes as far as who you work with, and as a customer who was previously on the Dynamic platform there are a handful of features from that platform that we REALLY wish could be carried over and implemented in the Firstup platform. The support teams at Firstup - from pre launch to implementation and beyond - have been key partners in our process. We launched to 32K global employees less than a year ago, which was a lot of work for our very small team. Firstup's responsiveness and eagerness to help us has been central to the platform's success. We love the ability the product has given us to be more targeted with our communications and to empower other communicators around the world to create their own nicely designed and smartly delivered communications. FirstUp provides a great solution for crafting, sharing and managing business-related content for a diverse and global company. We can communicate almost anything to the right audience, at the right time, and reaching them where and when they engage most. it has increased our engagement of employees with business information and empowered an expanded communications team, reducing the amount of times we say "no" to sharing something and increasing the bandwidth of corporate communications. Because our business uses the FirstUp platform as the front door to all business content, our desire for enhanced capabilities and features is always growing. FirstUp does a nice job of evolving at scale, but sometimes we are moving faster than the technology.
