Tremendously helpful tool. It's not even that it summarizes or transcribes meetings. It's that the ai assists in suggesting deliverables and follow up actions post meeting. This provides clarity for all attendees.

I wouldn't call them downsides as much as places where they can be improved.

But obviously, the ai can't identify a speaker unless the speaker identifies themselves, so making that known in the meetings is relatively important. This can easily be fixed post meeting by manually editing the notes but, I guess that would be the only shortcoming. Not that big of a deal.

One downside, I guess, is for some reason I'm having issues scheduling the app to join my Microsoft teams meetings oh on my calendar? I don't have that in other platforms. I am able to manually send fireflies app the team link so that works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some Teams meetings (depending on permissions or meeting setup), the bot joining can be delayed or might require a manual invite. Not a big issue, but something to be mindful of. If in a busy noise area, fireflies is still excellent at picking up conversations, but odd occasion mis interperates what has been said and you need to manually tweak the meeting notes - which again is very easy to do using their online platform.
