It is easy to use and the team clearly update and take on feedback with apps being added and other features regularly. We do have to review the transcript as part of due diligence but compared to other transcribe and AI tools it is really accurate - even with complicated meetings. Perhaps the accuracy of transcription is not always 100%, but I think I’m probably being a bit harsh in that expectation. **What problems is Fireflies.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** The business problems that Fireflies is solving are accurately taking meeting notes, transcribing them and the assistant Fred is invaluable for then outputting those notes and searching for specific things that were said that I need to revisit. It is super simple to use and configure. I find that the transcription and summaries produced by Fred/FireFlies to be spot on and matches relevant data points discussed. The platform even generates follow up tasks mentioned in meetings and assigns them to their respective parties. The settings are customizable and extremely easy to use. I no longer take down notes by hand because that's how accurate this ai has been for my use, and that is a major game changer for me! **What do you dislike about Fireflies.ai?** The only downside that I can think of is that you receive a summary email for each meeting (which can be useful for maybe a handful of meetings in 1 week) but for the amount of meetings I participate in (varies between 10 - 30 a week) it would be easier for me to receive a daily recap for that days meetings so that I can attach that to my planner. Aside from that, I honestly have no other downsides. **What problems is Fireflies.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** Fireflies has been extremely beneficial and returns more than I would have expected for a PRO account. I like that most of the features are available to the lower level tiers but you can also upgrade to capture video recordings and extend storage limits and retention. This helps as our email retention policy is 30 days which I use Fireflies to keep those notes and recordings in my history. When I need to review an ad hoc request for example, I can quickly execute the request by pulling my history versus asking peers for copies of notes that I may have missed in a meeting. ### 4. This is particularly true when attendees are from various countries that speak other languages as a primary language. An accurate transcription, in this case, makes it easier for the attendees to review and fully understand the content. The ability to have on hand a break out of topics, timelines, and assignments is super helpful. This is coupled with a "living transcription" that allows a reviewer to focus on a part of the conversation, complete with video, to better undertand the topic at hand. Implementation was super easy, just configure the service and invite Fred to the meeting. Everyone has been able to use it. I use Fireflies in literally ever Zoom meeting because it augments and improves communication. The integration with Zoom was simple, and nearly automatic. No one that I've recommended the service to has had any trouble setting it up or using it. I'm not able to speak to customer support because, frankly, we haven't needed any. It just works. I've yet to find a situation where I needed to reach out to customer support to solve a problem. If customer support works as well as the rest of the service, I'd expect it to be top shelf. Our many meeting attendees have raved about the results and many have adopted Fireflies in their own meetings and practices. **What do you dislike about Fireflies.ai?** I have to be honest and say that I can't think of anything that isn't useful. I was charged for three months of a Business plan and AI credits without clear consent, usage, or even a single billing email or invoice. I only noticed the charges while reviewing my credit card. Support refunded one month, refused the rest, and the downgrade process was hidden and confusing. On top of that, the integration to Notion never worked, which was one of the main reasons I tried the product. I especially appreciate that when I'm using it in Google Meet, thanks to the browser plugin, I don't have to reveal to other participants that there's an additional attendee in the meeting. **What do you dislike about Fireflies.ai?** What I like the least about Fireflies AI is that for other types of meetings, I have to invite Fireflies as a guest rather than having a convenient plugin like the one available for Google Meet. Additionally, I'm not a fan of the credit system for using AI to process meetings after they've ended. **What problems is Fireflies.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** Fireflies AI solves my difficulty of paying full attention in meetings while taking notes at the same time. Even when I do take notes, they often end up disorganized and incomplete, and I never really have the time to fix them later. With Fireflies, I get neatly organized notes instantly, which I can even share with clients if needed. However I dont mind when people are using your time to promote their tools when you dont pay for it, but FireFlies seems to use you as a paid member to promote their services. Which is fine when it is reduced cost but now it is just new functions and role out. Like sending notes to people even if you say no. Make sure you set everything to off. But be warned if they rollout a new function then enable it straight away. I do like the tool, but I would like to control what happens. Old comments - some of which still stands but the breaching of data and confidentialty is unacceptable Just the way in to works without even thinking about it. The ability to keep on track of your work, if you are someone that bounces from 1 Zoom or MS Teams call to another and then find it is 5pm.... **What do you dislike about Fireflies.ai?** The switching on of new functions and not asking you if you want it, so opt out not opt in.... Enabling people when they join themselves to see your notes - Imagine if you had a meeting and carried on for part 2 after and some people left, they would see the full set of notes. The system is not Inuiative in its settings and so as I say it is Opt out not opt in I would suggest you are very careful with the AI credits. They set this so that for every meeting you will end up going to a new tier of credits. So be careful because you could burn through money quickly with no much more value add. I think there are some functions which could be brought easier to the user, to switch on and off, but I believe these will come as the technology advances. Everything in life can be better, but as it is I would say it has returned 30% of my working week back to me. **What problems is Fireflies.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is reducing the time it takes to review my notes, and also as most meetings I am the one doing the talking, I am a male so multi tasking is not my strong point. Searching through meetings is effortless, and I love being able to share notes with my team in just a few clicks. **What do you dislike about Fireflies.ai?** The free version is helpful, but many of the more advanced functions require a paid plan. **What problems is Fireflies.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** One of the standout benefits for me is the ability to track and recall the minutiae of our meetings: details that I would have likely overlooked or forgotten if relying solely on manual notes. Generally reliable. Allows me to focus on meeting and not note-taking. Thorough record of a meeting. highlights and action points. Easily shared with others including automated link sent to everyone (if that setting is switched on). **What do you dislike about Fireflies.ai?** That Fred leaves after two hours and has to be manually forced to rejoin, which can be tricky in the middle of a meeting and is distracting. **What problems is Fireflies.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** It allows me to focus on talking with clients. The meeting summary and action points are very useful. It adds value to my services offered to clients who can take away a complete transcript and record of the meeting. ### 50. You can review the notes summary or transcript to draft follow up emails and reports on the meeting. You can focus on the meeting while Fireflies takes the notes in the background which is fabulous ! **What do you dislike about Fireflies.ai?** It took me a bit of time to work out how to link Fireflies to my Zoom and MS teams accounts. Maybe the set up procedures could me made a little bit clearer. I had a teams meeting once and although Fireflies was logged in when I logged off I did not get a transcript or notes. I think it may be that I was logged into two teams accounts at the same time by accident ! The app and the browser versions !
